1934 Anschluss attempt provokes an Italo-German war within the Alps and Austria. At first Italy's more developed military gives it the advantage but Germany's superior industry along with population will see it win in the long term if Mussolini can't win it within a year to a year and a half. Butterflies could have interesting effects upon France, the Balkans, and Poland in the immediate short term.
