It is called General Althistory, much like this wiki but instead of making alternate events randomly in history you create an timeline that starts after the first human on Earth but has to be before the collapse of Ancient Greece, after you set the date and get the general plot filled out then you have an wild ride as if actually creating an historical record, basically after you create the over all plot and what happened differently you then hypothesize what would happen after and due to that and some general imagination and creativity too!
