It was a recent time so i doubt much would change, if i had to guess tho

1 - Joe Biden wouldn't be as hated, and could probs actually win 2024 election.

2 - Many things considered "nerdy" wouldn't blow up. Streaming wouldnt be as popular, TikTok probably wouldnt have blown up, prolly would just stay in China. Anime doesn't blow up either.

3 - Economy would be better prolly

Here are some of my thoughts:

- I agree that TikTok wouldn't be as popular without COVID-19. Likely some other short video platform would take its place, at least in the USA.

- Liminal horror wouldn't be as popular either. I don't think it's a coincidence that this type of horror, which displays public places without anyone in them, took off right as the pandemic was happening.

- Many blockbuster movies released post-pandemic wouldn't bomb like in OTL. The rise of streaming has discouraged many people from going to the movies. This streaming of movies would still happen eventually, but it would take longer for it to become common. Additionally, many delayed films would be released a year earlier than in OTL.

- There would be somewhat less political extremism. Even without the pandemic, it's unlikely Trump will win a second term, so he and his followers will continue to insist that he won. Whether or not this leads to a Jan. 6 event, I don't know.

- Without the pandemic, social media companies wouldn't have received a spike in revenue as they did IOTL. In contrast, many restaurant and buffet chains that closes in our world would remain open here.

- Sadly, Bo Burnham's Inside wouldn't exist, so no Welcome to the Internet or any songs from that project of his.

Cool.

And of course there's the many TV shows impacted by Covid that would be different in some ways: eg. shortened seasons would have the endings they were meant to get; Glow would actually get a final season.

Sadly, one big casualty is that the George Floyd protests would not get as big as they did and wouldn't have the big impact that it had, though I think the officers would still get charged.
