A World Without COVID-19

Hello there. So, after a bit of research and careful consideration, I've decided to do a big retcon for my World Without COVID-19 timeline.

George Floyd's murder is butterflied away. Floyd doesn't loose his club job, therefore he doesn't get into financial difficulties, meaning he doesn't get that counterfeit bill, and you can figure out the rest.

So no murder means no protests. Only downside is that those three cops keep their jobs.

In my World Without Covid-19 timeline, I have to do pages on sporting events, which is a bit annoying as I have no interest in any sports, so don't be surprised if pages on sporting events aren't massive. Does anybody else's timelines have an aspect of society that they're not overly interested in?

So, I've officially done all the pages for all the 2020 films from mainland China that would be changed by Covid not happening. I'm building up the box office ranking for all 2020 films, but since I'm no good at maths, I was wondering if anybody could tell me if this seems correct. There's one or two films I didn't do pages on since they were streaming exclusive films and wouldn't be effected.

Also, I think even films that weren't directly impacted by Covid would have different box office numbers since people wouldn't be weary about going to theatres in countries that closed them.

So, given the recent news about this deadlier variant of Monkeypox that's been spreading, this has made me question something regarding my World Without Covid-19 timeline.

If this variant is as infectious as Covid-19, is it possible that it could be the big pandemic of the 2020s; given that up to this point in the timeline, no lessons have been learned due to Covid not happening.

So, I'd like some advice on making pages for my timeline: A World Without Covid-19.

So, I noticed that there's a guideline about only making pages for something that's explicitly different to rl, and I wonder with my timeline where I should draw the line on what to make pages on? For instance, should I do pages on countries since they don't go into lockdown? Should I do pages on people who didn't die from the virus?

Basically, how explicitly different does it have to be?

I'm trying to crate a navbox template for my timeline, but I'm struggling to do it right. Would any contributors to A World Without Covid-19 be willing to help.

I've done the first page for an event in my timeline A World Without Covid-19.

As you can guess, George Floyd is still sadly murdered by Derek Chauvin, leading to the protests, however, only the peaceful protests happen and we wouldn’t see any of the violent rioting and looting that happened in real life.

My thinking is this: due to the fact that the Covid-19 lockdown doesn’t happen, meaning that nobody would be sent over the edge with frustration and anger. The protests are also confined to Minneapolis and don't go global, which means that they don't have the as big an impact as they did in rl.

But on the bright side, Chauvin would still get the book thrown at him.

I'll also be doing pages for the murder of Breonna Taylor and the protests, which happen much sooner than in rl.

So, I noticed that a couple of other people are doing their own takes on the what if Covid never happened scenario, and since I've been doing TV season pages for my one, I want to lay down two rules.

1. Please do not use any original episodes or storylines that I've created.

2. For seasons that ended abruptly, please come up with your own final episodes, unless it has been stated in rl what the unfilmed unless it's been fully established what the episodes were meant to be. eg. the original Season 3 finale of S.W.A.T. was used as the opening episode from Season 4.

So, I have officially discovered my least favourite part about doing A World Without Covid-19: pages on anime and soap operas. They just have so many episodes in a single year, or they're Season 20 of One Piece and never seem to end. What I'm asking is this: is there an easier way to do these pages without killing myself, since I don't want to be stuck doing one page forever

So today, I had a thought regarding A World Without Covid-19: can it be seen as apop culture timeline? I had this thought because the primary focus of this timeline is TV shows/movies/video games/sports and other pop culture related events. So, what do you think?

So, I've been expanding the main page for A World Without Covid-19, which led me to ponder the idea of turning it into a community timeline, where other people can contribute. However, I want to know if anybody would actually be interested in that idea? Also thought of this because I've only now realised just how big this timeline will actually be, plus, I got drained doing that One Piece Season 20 page … that season is long no matter what universe you're living in.

So, a thought recently occurred to me regarding A World Without Covid-19. With no lockdowns or restrictions, the effects on the environment wouldn’t be slowed down, so, could this mean that the deadly European heatwave we had this year would happen in 2021 in my timeline? And would no Covid slightly speed up the effects of climate change?

So, here's something cool that I'll be doing for the TV show pages in my World Without Covid-19 timeline: adding details on international broadcast dates and some other Home Media release info.

So, here's some more advice regarding A World Without Covid-19. Would the 2020 protests against the murder of George Floyd get as big as they did in rl and would they have the same impact on TV shows and movies.

So, currently, I've been focusing on the abruptly ended Seasons from the 2019-2020 United States Television schedule and a thought just struck.

Currently, I've been going off the belief that most of the non-cancelled shows used the unfilmed episodes in the next season, as it's been confirmed that several shows did indeed do that: NCIS; NCIS: New Orleans; Prodigal Son; The Goldbergs; Schooled; The Resident; The Neighborhood; Young Sheldon; SEAL Team; S.W.A.T.; The Flash; Supergirl; ; Chicago P.D.; Legacies; Charmed; Nancy Drew; MacGyver. But, is it realistic to assume that all the shows did this? Plus, if I needed help, I'm honestly not sure if anybody here is a fan of any of the shows that had to end their seasons abruptly

Hello there, so I need some help with a part of my World Without Covid-19 timeline. So, in this timeline, Trump wins the 2020 election and gets a second term, and I'm trying to figure out how he would have responded to the Taliban conquest of Afghanistan and the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

How do you think he would have responded compared to Joe Biden? I was thinking that maybe he would only care about getting Americans out of Afghanistan and would do nothing to aid Ukraine, but I'm not sure about that.
