Although the fall of the original MONGOL EMPIRE would still happen. There was a possibility that the Golden Horde could have united most of it and call itself the successor of the Mongol Empire...Which means in this world the Russian Empire would be replaced with the Golden Horde. But the wasteland we call Siberia would possibly be left alone until the 20th Century or so.
