After the 1973 army coup by General Ali Abdul Hussain and General Anwar Hamid Al-Kalifi Egypt set about getting its house in order with mass industrialisation and education. Literacy campaigns, water supply, sewerage, telecommunication, power supply, transport projects and alike during the early 1970’s. in The 1974 Egyptian constitution guarantees women and Christians "equal status in society". A minimum age for working, voting and having "consensual" sexual relations is established at 18. The 1974 to 1975.5 Egyptian-Libyan war and the 1975-1976 Egypt-Syria war saw Egypt's military do well by crushing Libya and forcing peace talks in Syria.

Egypt was the proponent and one of the founding members of the Arab and Middle Eastern Alliance (Avaro), which was formed on February 3rd, 1976, at the Aswan summit.

A non-aggression treaty is offered to the Kingdom of the Balkans, Chile and Nordic Union in 1977. Desalination plants, Shadoofs, Irrigation sprinklers and karez tunnels are normalized I Benghazi, Cairo and Nubia. Gen. Hosni Mubarak, Gen. Ali Hussain, a conservative preacher Imam Mohammed Omar Aware and liberal doctor Abdulla Hussain Selah hold a final political rally and voting begins-

The results are-

  2. Gen. Ali Hussain=36%
  3. Imam Mohammed Omar Aware= 10%
  4. Dr Abdulla Hussain Selah= 10%.


Offers a free trade deal, customs unions, single currency and defence pact to the EAR, Kenya, Syria, the Umyyad Republic and Tunisia-Algeria 1985.

An Alexandria to Cairo, Benghazi, Gaza City, Abu Rudies, Giza, Luxor, Port Sa'aid railway and motorway is built. A F1 race track was built in western Jordan in 1985.5

Alliance was offered to NG, the EAR, UUR, Greece, the Balkans and S Africa. The old alliance the Balkans is remembered fondly and recreated.

The Zougra airport in Bardaï, former Chad is built. A road now links it to Tripoli and Benghazi by 1986.5.
