The Iraqi Invasion of Lebanon was a military attack for annexing Lebanon into the Iraqi Hussein Alliance. It was one of the many wars which caused the United States and other coalition forces to invade Saddam Hussein's territory in 2003. Unlike other Iraqi wars, this conflict did not lead to Saddam Hussein becoming the leader of the Lebanese but rather as head of the Lebanese Ba'ath Party composing it.
