Hello i am doing a spanish version of that Timeline, in Evento Londres part of es.althistory.wikia.com, for that, i am too bissy to work in that english version, sorry. English and Spanish version are independenc for the other, and are not a exactly traslation. In London Event can be the Frenchs defent England and in Evento Londres, Frenchs attack England. (spanish is my native languaje)--Fero 16:55, 29 November 2008 (UTC)

Developments in the Empire
Probably Australia, Canada, India, and New Zealand are in a position to become self-governing states. Canada would take on responsibility for Newfoundland and Australia and New Zealand dividing up the Pacific colonies between them - which may lead to friction, while France would exert increased control over the New Hebridies (the Anglo-French Condominium).
The US might take an interventionist position with regard to the Caribbean colonies - the Monroe Doctrine.
Egypt would probably take on control of Sudan, but the fate of the African colonies would vary, depending upon levels of local development and the local colonial officers, as well as the other Imperial powers. South Africa and South Rhodesia (which in OTL later became 'Rhodesia') might intervene (and who would deliver the equivalent of OTL UK PM Harold Macmillan's 'Winds of Change' speech?). Lenin in London
Lenin was in London in the early part of 1908: I am not quite clear whether he had left before the event. Stalin and Trotsky were definitely elsewhere. A divergence from this timeline might have Lenin 'and others' killed in the blast. Jackiespeel 15:43, November 5, 2010 (UTC)
- This TL is open, if you would like to add some of your ideas to the current articles or create new ones, be my guest. Mitro 15:47, November 5, 2010 (UTC)

a good foro about meteor in London 1908
Perceptions of the event
It appears that the 'Tunguska object in flight' was observed by the locals of the areas over which it passed - so there would be some awareness in the widely populated south east of England of 'something peculiar' having happened.
Given that Halley's comet was expected for 1910, there might well be discussions as to whether a comet had hit London. Jackiespeel 17:24, November 29, 2010 (UTC)
