You're now a sysop. I'd like to caution you before you start deleting a bunch of things, though, to give warnings to the authors, and give them time to respond. Thanks for volunteering, and welcome aboard. Louisiannan 20:40, 18 August 2007 (UTC)

Red Napoleon

Thanks for the help, much appreciated! :) Rusty2005 00:56, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

I wonder if I could ask for your advice on another topic. I'd like to copy my work on this site (the Red Napoleon series) onto a seperate website, just in case althistory.wiki shuts down, or just to preserve the articles in the way I originally wrote them. Can you recommend a blog site or something similar where I might be able to host the text and images (preferable in a comparable layout) of my articles on here? Thanks :) Rusty2005 01:08, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

Again, thankyou kindly for your help :-) Rusty2005 13:06, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

Hello Forerunner...

actualy i've been here since April. [F]

Hi. I'm Yunzhong, from the Novelas/fiction wiki. Our wiki accepts nearly all kinds of fiction content. If you have works on this site that would do better incorporated in Novelas, please reply at my user page there. If you would like to contribute, then by all means please do. Thank you. trouble with User Roberto Boberto

Hi Karsten,

seems we have trouble with User Roberto Boberto. He posts highly offtopic content on his user page (deleted by me) and randomly vandalizes pages.

PS: If you give me mod powers, I could stop such users earlier in future if I see them. I have quite some experience as a forum moderator on www.alternatehistory.com--Max Sinister 00:56, 7 October 2007 (UTC)

Re: Gate of Heavenly Peace & Shock and Awe: The Second Korean War

Karsten,

I just got your message a few minutes ago; I don't know what happened with the stuff I previously wrote for "Gate of Heavenly Peace" and "Shock & Awe: The Second Korean War", but I'll get back to work on them in the next 2-3 days. I don't want to see them get deleted altogether.

Incidentally, I suspect someone may have been messing with my password.

P.S. Just got your second message. Thank you very much. :)

Re: The Maxim

I've started to work on it again. I was unable to work on it for the last few months, but I can concentrate on it now. Would you remove the deletion notice then please?--Denten007

Mongol Crusades and other TLs to be deleted

You marked the timeline Mongol Crusades in September for deletion. Seems nothing happened since then. Shall we delete it, and the other pages that belong to it?--Max Sinister 00:31, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

Same about The Loose Bandage Timeline (LBTL), Atlantic Iron Curtain and Pax Nordica.--Max Sinister 00:33, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
OK, now that's done :-).--Max Sinister 18:12, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
Oops, still forgot one: The State of Canada.--Max Sinister 08:44, 4 December 2007 (UTC)

Regarding Yunzhong Hou

I don't think his post can really be construed as spamming, it was more an invitation to join another project. --Marcpasquin 18:44, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

Sorry for accidentally blocking Yunzhong Hou. Looked like spam at the first glimpse.--Max Sinister 08:27, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
Don't worry, I reverted his edits so I can at least equally be held accountable. I got into a bit of a quarrel with this guy over that, and he even filed a complaint on it on Angela's talk page, to which she responded this so I suppose that's the end of the matter. I agree with him that the immediate reversion without warning and blocking him went to far, but his messages sure were spamlike, and as it seems now, useless without Wikia permission. --Karsten vK (talk) 07:47, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

Nominated for deletion

I have nominated Red Napoleon's timeline for delation as it is based on a published timeline (Command and Conquer: Red Alert) and contain trademarked material (mainly fictional characters). Although it has been (I assume) modified a bit and developed accordingly, it should still be deleted to follow the rules we have imposed ourselves. Obviously, some time should be accorded to the author to remove and republish it somewhere else if he so wish.--Marcpasquin 15:08, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

From reading Rusty reply on the talk page of Red Napoleon, he as aparently taken it personaly and wont bring any change to his timeline so I guess its now up to you and /or the other moderators to decide what to do next.--Marcpasquin 10:17, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

Defense of Red Napoleon

Just wanted to repeat my objection to the deletion of Red Napoleon. It is inspired by Red Alert but as Rusty states, its different after that. Its one of the best articles (and largest) on the site. I for one would not have come to site if it hadn't been here. Eliminating it would be foolish.--Gtrof 17:43, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

Populist USA

Why was that TL deleted?--Max Sinister 19:59, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

OK, I understand that it's future history.--Max Sinister 02:00, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

Deleting Paulite America

Yeah pretty much i wantto delete it.

Deletions

Hey,
I've highlighted a whole bunch of my timelines for deletion. I'm leaving this message for a few of the mods - if nobody's beaten you to it, I'd appreciate it if you could delete the pages I've flagged. That's unless someone wants to take them over.
Cheers,

Block some users forever?

With all that User:24.118.99.21 has written, shouldn't he be blocked forever, or at least a year or something. I really think that such people have no interest in doing anything constructive, and I don't think that this mindset will change in 2 weeks (although he might give up by then). --Riction 14:05, 22 June 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the new page! Since it's easy for other members of the group to miss a new addition, can you please leave a message at Talk:1983: Doomsday - just to introduce and explain your idea. Benkarnell 16:07, 15 May 2009 (UTC)

Central Victory

Thank you for the offer of help. For now I think I have everything I need. Just posting it on this wiki is taking time because of other things I have to do. I have done research on this possible timeline for almost a year now and I think I have the most likely senario of the world IF things went this way. But this is only my opinion. If I need help though or you think things seem, wrong, please leave me a message and I'll be sure to credit you and anyone else who helps me.--New Euro Emperor 14:25, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
