There are ten ships in this fleet all gurabs or galleys, and they set sail in order to pacify the pirates, raid their settlements, take their ships, and become the "King of Pirates". "The Dagger" offers the English 20% of all profits and not attacking their ships in exchange for ships and a supplies (Player response). Due to the incessant feuding of the lords and princes, the Confederacy puts an official ban on all feuds, vendettas, and conflicts between the states of the Confederacy, instead emphasising the court of law as a place where disputes are settled. - Rashidun Caliphate: In a landmark historical act, the Ulema unanimously vote to declare war on the Crusaders. Issuing the proclomation from the Citidel of Damascus, "the Caliphate declares Jihad against the Tsardom of Belka, and any Slav or Greek that supports them. All those who pray the Salat or pay the Jizya are called to take up Holy War against these nations." As this declaration is spread by mass printing across the Middle East and the Muslim world, volunteers and professional soldiers from every Sultan, Emir, Sheikh, and Devish pour in to join the ranks of the army to fight off this dastardly invasion. The refugees fleeing from Turkey are quickly called together and organized by local authorities, recruiting many of the strongest into the military bent on retaking their homeland. An army of 90,000 Arabs and 110,000 Turks and Kurds arrive with hundreds of the elite armed fighters known as the Kilab A-rub (The Lord's Hounds) to drive off the Russians and defend Antioch. The Russian forces would be surprised to find the Christians of Antioch, comprising of many Catholics and Armenians used to the toleration under the Caliphate, are not welcome to the concept of foreign invaders disrupting their way of life. This push towards Antioch also bring with them hundreds of medium artillery led by sipahi cavalry. The main strategy of this front is to push two large attacks along the Afrin and Quieq Rivers, meant to direct the Russian force to the Amanian Gate where the remainder of the forces will cut them off. True to the advice of Ismail Pasha, the commanders of the Battle of Antioch are trained in the Slavic tactics; although there was no opportunity to train every individual battalion, certain key countermeasures are taken, such as anticipating the timing of skirmishes and adopting a fan maneuver against the block and file formations. In Anatolia itself, a force of 140,000 Arabs join with an army of 110,000 Turks, Kurds and Armenians, collectively raised by the local Beyliks, Emirates and Principalities now independent. These troops gather at Erzincan, then split into two groups and converge on the Belkan forces in the modern column formation. Ismail Pasha commands this campaign himself, using the positions of the Belkan force from the Arab refugees that came from the Fall of Ankara. Ismail also utilizes familiarity of the rugged mountain terrain in Central Anatolia to give the advantage to the native Middle Eastern people against the Crusaders. In addition, the Ulema ensured that all the military were well-supplied and fully packed for this campaign, capitalizing on the overuse of ammunition by the Belkans at the Fall of Ankara. Throughout the Muslim World, the pamphlets encouraging joining the JIhad spread quickly from Morocco to Iran. People coin slogans and write ballads for the great war against the Europeans. The Shah of Iran already sends 2000 of his own troops to the campaign in eastern Anatolia. The only thing preventing further armed forces this year is the sheer logistics of processing such an unprecedented turnout. The full naval force of the Mediterranean is launched from Damietta in three parts, one with 150 ships to cut off support to Antioch, one with 70 ships to link up with the remaining 40 ships of the Ottoman navy and encircle Salonika, and a final 200 ships to close on Rhodes. The main goal at Rhodes is not to directly engage the fortifications yet, but merely to sink and blockade any sea forces defending the harbor. We ask Morocco and any other Muslim states to send volunteers for this war effort.
- Maghreb Dip: We send 70,000 men and 80 warships to the land of Jihad to fight off the Invaders.
- Emirate of Cyprus: Emir Amir Al-Damashq was up in the early hours of the morning, fully cognizant the instant he saw the Belkan invading force on the horizon. Immediately he summoned his chief officers to fly into action as defense of the island at Saolinka. His lieutenant Musa Ibn Reis was determined to utilize defensive measures not seen since the days of Archimedes at Syracuse. Falconets, mortars and other siege weaponry are employed on the coast to strike at the enemy ships at a distance, using logarithmic calculations to determine the exact trajectory at maximum distance. The fleet of 60 ships are the best warships the Caliphate employs in the White Sea, fitted with iron backing within the wooden frames, and three ceder masts brimming with medium artillery.
- Tsardom of Belka: Tsar Kaloyan relishing at the prospect of Fighting the Caliphate gives way initially to the Caliphates forces refusing to engage instead laying a bunch of small organized fighting retreat engagements hoping to bleed the scouts and vanguard units out while the main army conducts its main retreat. This proves to be a deciding factor in the effectiveness of the army as in an unexpected show of force, the Tsar cunningly funnels the Caliphates troops into a meat grinder at the nearly deserted Turkish city of Niğde. The Tsar brings 200,000 of his own troops as well as 20,000 mercenaries to bear on in a defensive battle at Nigde using the terrain as the advantage to split up the caliphates units in pursuit of the army. The Russian troops having been taken by surprise have also retreated and guard the flank of the Belkan army ready to contribute to the main battle at a moments notice essentially filling all the gaps in the lines. The Belkan troops hold using the geography of Turkey as a series of natural forts and battlements. With almost no civilians being in the city Tsar Kaloyan turns Nigde into a hellhole of ambushes, traps, and crossfires. Cannon batteries with grapeshot as posted as key intersections and in key buildings to maximize casualties and the Belkan forces flanking the city from behind for miles on either side, The deployments into the mountains effectively make Nigde the city to take if the Caliphate wishes to move on to Ankara. With so much force deployed into Anatolia, the Tsar is forced to redistribute the final 50,000 strong force in Belka manning many of the coastal forts and preparing them with cannons and anti-naval batteries. With Rhodes put under siege the full extent of preparation on the island has been made known to the Caliphate with 10,000 mercenary troops and Cannon batteries of all sizes are emblazoned on earthen work and stone forts assembles around the island at key points. The Main fortress renamed to Beograd has become a massive force to be reckoned with boasting an anti naval battery which has sunk 15 of the caliphates ships already. Krete is known to be similarly armed with nearly 5000 troops of the Italians and papacy manning Krete, which make it an unattractive option to land under fire. The remaining forces of nearly 55,000 troops remain in Belka consisting mostly of the Belkan Home Guard, and a 5000 strong mercenary group. The economic strain on the empire starts to become apparent as the Tsar effectively requisitions money from merchants and others to support the war effort. With massive amounts of funds flooding away to buy supplies. Munitions, Guns, Cannons, gunpowder, certain foodstuffs, and hundreds of other goods flow through Belka as the impressive logistical system has managed to turn the supply deficiency away and re-supply the Belkan army during its strategic retreat to Nigde. The island fortresses of Krete and Rhodes are notably presumed to be able to hold for years. This consequently has led to a massive capital outflow into Europe which effectively starts a war boom as a result of the war and its needs. Belka requests to buy many of these supplies from Russia as well. The Belkan war fleet delegates itself to small party raiding tactics and using the superior galleons and frigates in an attempt to inflict casualties piecemeal rather than openly engage the caliphate. However, a solid smuggling route remains open to Rhodes as the combination of shore batteries on the Anatolian coast and the coast of Rhodes leaves a gap where the artillery won't reach but making it easy for a ship to cross quickly without being intercepted.

Shaka Zulu takes over the Zulu kingdom following Sibhos death. The information gleaned from his European Journey has led to multiple changes in Zulu society most notably in how its armies are assembled and equipped. Interestingly enough the Zulus send their first fleet of nearly ten ships to Europe planning to send the fleets to all of the major European powers.
The war in the east between the Caliphate and Belka seems to have taken a positive impact on the European economy as the mass purchasing of war supplies on the open markets has led to a huge boom in Europe's declining internal trade routes due to the Wars in the West. This revival of trade sees Trade and economic booms in Hungary, Austria, Poland and Prussia.
The rise of wars in Europes states and some of the economic issues has caused a huge increase in populations hoping to immigrate to colonies. Thousands begin to immigrate to the New World regardless of mother country in some cases, just leaving to colonies where ports are sending the ships, too. This leaves Anglo's in Mexico, Germans in English Arcadia, and Spaniards in the Viceroyalty of Peru. Iberian colonies everywhere expand greatly.

The 500,000 refugees are slowly being absorbed with many with desirable skills, wealth or family already being settled, though a majority lacks the ability to care for themselves and so the Confederacy puts the men to work in exchange for pay, food for their family and shelter. The Royal University of Pratap Nagar is expanding while grants are given to the gifted. Thane's construction of the Royal Thane Naval Yard is underway and is ten years in, while it is minimally operational. The first squadron of the Royal Navy of Punjab is ready and is sent to patrol Maharashtra in order to defend from the Maratha pirates. Goa, in addition, is being built up to become a naval and trade port while it is experiencing growth due to the influx of the more skilled, and wealthier refugees. The rise of the Marathon pirates leads to the Confederacy authorising an increase in naval research and investment. While the Confederacy does order its navy to attack pirates in Confederacy territory, it strangely ignores the pirates attacking Karnad shipping or territory. The experimental squadron of the Royal Navy do surprisingly well in high seas due to the European sails and rigging, leading the new design to be officially accepted. While the Confederacy is busy on reforms, it only produces two new squadrons. The army is also mobilised in the coastal regions to defend from pirates. The Royal Army returns home experienced and tested while they are equipped with the highest quality weapons the manufacturers can currently produce. Many experienced officers are promoted, while detachments of soldiers are sent to the country side to help train the feudal levies. Cannon and firearms are continued to be integrated into the military. The Royal Army, begins to heavily refit and train in order to establish itself as the most elite unit in the Confederacy. The cotton plantations are growing with new ones being established to help employ refugees Reforms are planned in order to strengthen the nation. "The Dagger" liquidates his assets and uses it to add ships to his preexisting merchant fleet, while it is rumoured that many influential figures are involved. There are ten ships in this fleet all gurabs or galleys, and they set sail in order to pacify the pirates, raid their settlements, take their ships, and become the "King of Pirates". Several foreigners sign on to his fleet, including some Dutch and Englishmen. The Dagger's influence becomes concentrated around the coast of Surat, where he enjoys control of the local fort and by extension the city. His naval prowess has made him unmatched, even by the navies of Punjab and Karnad. He manages to capture three Karnad merchant ships off the west Indian coast, adding them to his fleet. Due to the incessant feuding of the lords and princes, the Confederacy puts an official ban on all feuds, vendettas, and conflicts between the states of the Confederacy, instead emphasising the court of law as a place where disputes are settled. The "Renovation of the Confederacy" is also established with the Confederate government of the lords and princes as well as the Ashtapradhan, as well as the Confederate Supreme Court which serves as the court for all the territories. The Confederate government manages the country as a whole though the elective king has veto power and influence, while many states have autonomy. King Junaid solidifies control of Al Wusta and northern Dhofar. At the same time in order to shield ourselves from a possible Austrian attack on Venice, we start the construction of strategic fortifications in the city of Bolzano and the rest of the Alpine passes near the Austrian borders, in essense to close the Alpine routes there that would allow the passage of an Imperial army heading to Venice through the Alps. It is projected that this grand project on the Alps would roughly take ten years. With the siege of Rhodes and Krete underway the manpower devoted to these fronts remains attempting to stem the tide of the Caliphates fleet. In an attempt to more effectively supply Krete an armed convoy is sent into Heraklion which in a surprising show of force manages to breach the blockade after some shrewd naval maneuvering brings the Belkan fleet right ontop of the Saracen fleet before a blocking action is used to allow the supply ships to get through before the warships dock. This run of the blockade heavily boosts the morale of the Kretan garrison which has been cut off for nearly a year. The Aegean shield remains strong as a combination of Belkan naval force and the island cannon batteries keeps the Caliphates naval forces away and prevent any sorties through the aegean. It is noted that the fact that almost every island maintains a fort of some sort that taking the islands would be not just a costly campaign but a lengthy one which would burn through manpower and supplies the caliphate wouldnt risk during an invasion. The Siege of Rhodes has turned out relatively differently as the size of the island vs the forces involved as well as the lack of extreme numerical superiority over the defenders at rhodes has turned this into a bloodbath as attempting to take Fortress Beograd and its various forts and other defenses has turned the island into one of misery for the Caliphate. A tattered but still flying Belkan flag flies over the fortress triumphantly taunting the caliphates forces and seeping morale as the inability to overwhelm and destroy the defenders takes its toll. The cotton plantations are growing with new ones being established to help employ refugees Reforms are planned in order to strengthen the nation. "The Dagger" liquidates his assets and uses it to add ships to his pre-existing merchant fleet, while it is rumoured that many influential figures are involved. There are ten ships in this fleet all gurabs or galleys, and they set sail in order to pacify the pirates, raid their settlements, take their ships, and become the "King of Pirates". Several foreigners sign on to his fleet, including some Arabs, Dutch and Englishmen. The Dagger's influence becomes concentrated around the coast of Surat, where he enjoys control of the local fort and by extension the city. His naval prowess has made him unmatched, even by the navies of Punjab and Karnad. This year he makes a daring raid against the Karnad navy, stealing one of their warships. Due to the incessant feuding of the lords and princes, the Confederacy puts an official ban on all feuds, vendettas, and conflicts between the states of the Confederacy, instead emphasising the court of law as a place where disputes are settled. The "Renovation of the Confederacy" is also established with the Confederate government of the lords and princes as well as the Ashtapradhan, as well as the Confederate Supreme Court which serves as the court for all the territories. The invasion of Ragusa and its surrounding region prompts a terrified response. The 30,000 remaining Belkan troops in the homeland not manning the Aegean shield and other coastal forts respond and march to Ragusa containing the saracen forces which had landed in the Bosnia/Croatia region. The failure of Belkas navy to perform during the war has begun a decisive shift in public outlook on the navy with many important people noticing the lack of the navy is the reason this war has turned so sharply against them. The logistics of fighting in Anatolia starts to become even more difficult as the infrastructural systems in place continue to deteriorate and the ground looking like it had been subject to a stampede a 1000 times. The Tsar begins looking to open negotiation with the Ulema as neither side can turn Anatolia into what it wishes to be and establish a lasting agreement that somewhat satisfies the needs of both the Belkans and the Caliphate. Sinkyone decisively defeats Bear River in battle, but does not penatrate into their hunting ground, while Kato is kept at bay. Most tribes hearing the call join on Sinkyone's side, but a few remain neutral.

- Rashidun Caliphate: Seeing the war grow fruitless one way or another, the Ulema vote to negotiate an end to the war mutual to both sides. Hoping only to retain the vassals never attacked by Belka in the far east, and to ensure the Crusaders remain out of Asia and Krete, the Ulema draft their proposal. The Caliph himself, Hasan Al-Hakim, visits Vasiligrad with the most eminent members of the Ulema to see to the negotiation, now aware how the Tsar prefers to speak with his peers. Meanwhile, Salah Ibn Tulun returns to the Mecca after circumnavigating around the world: first he journeyed through Morocco and North Africa, then he crossed the Atlantic and stayed in the Moroccan colonies in Lawrencia, then he crossed the Pacific Ocean and landed in Sunda, then crossed the Inner Sea and stayed in Summatra, before crossing over and sailing across the Indian Ocean to Gujarat. There he journeyed overland across Sindh and Iran, before sailing around the Arabian Sea into Hejaz. - English Arcadia: The continuing influx of immigrants from Europe keeps the population skyrocketing, leaving our population at 660,000. Most of this comes via immigration from England, But French, Germans and even Italians are also prevalent. Expansion also occurs in the north, using the Delaware river as the eastern border, to expand into OTL Pennsylvania. In addition, the frontier continues to march west, now at a faster pace. The newly occupied land is mostly reserved for agriculture, but several cities continue to grow along the coast, notably New Essex (On the east shore of Virginia), New Rome (OTL Charleston), and York (OTL Dover). As the population continues to rapidly expand, Wilmington again gathers representatives from around the colony to discuss splitting it into smaller governorates, Asking for English permission to do so.
- Tsardom of Belka: With the end of the war now in sight, the Tsar makes it a well known effort he is withdrawing from Anatolia. His armies however are barely able to make the journey due to the obliterated infrastructure of the entire region. The Kingdom of Ancyra collapses as the Caliphate and Belkan troops begin to pull out, and as troops head west the Principality of Nicaea suffers as well losing contact with most land outside of its locale. The withdraw from the war with the Caliphate however brings another problem to bear. The Venetians attempting to steal trade right out from under the nose of the Belkan merchants and trade companies. The Tsar having only been home a few months begins drawing up declarations against Venice hoping to take back trade routes that have been in use by Belkan and once bulgarian merchants all across the region. The end of the conflict also brings back a wealth of information with new information on fighting out numbered, in new defensive formations, as well as the power of a singular powerful flagship army rather than a large horde of men organized into the most basic tactics. This prompts the former Bluecoat army of the Tsar to be reformed into the Grande Armiyata na Belka. This doesnt blunt the land strength of the Empire as the reserves are filled with former fighters and the Grande army being established, but it does bring a focus as to why the army is the more preferred branch. The late success of Belkas navy has made it an attractive alternative to the Army which decisively sees the Tsar and his council take notice beginning to shift away from the constant land doctrine present for nearly 150-200 years and for once take a look at turning Belkas navy into a first rate competitor.

He later visits Kankabatok and Maynila, and is impressed by the spread of Christianity to the archipelago. Finally, he visits Brunei, Tidore and Ternate, acquiring a wealthy amount of cargo in spices, before setting off for Europe again. Leonardo Espina returns to California and founds a colony at OTL La Paz. Although failing to attract many settlers, it serves as the farthest outpost of Iberia and a gateway to the Californian coast. Trade bases are also built on Fernando Pó, near OTL Luba and Riaba. Chocolate sweetened with sugar or honey becomes popular in the Iberian court.
- Iberian Diplomacy to England: A royal marriage is offered to England in order to improve relations after the Fourth Anglo-Burgundian War and renew Anglo-Portuguese political and dynastic ties that have been neglected for a century or more.

The cultural split with France, as something that has been promoted for years, is encouraged, but radical anti-Francism is discouraged.
- Bengal Sultanate: The Sultanate the last 2 years have grown in population and now has a population of a little over 26.5 Million and rising. Teavana Is almost complete and will soon be the largest ship in the Indian Ocean. More shipping companies have begun to rise and plan to build extremely large ships as well. Some plan to even build ships that are 350ft long which is unheard of for this time. A new class of ships has been made which s the PTS class The new Sultanate has ordered an act known as which stands for Passenger Tea Ship. The Militia Agreement which is basically for a militia to be placed in towns and cities as a form of protection for citizens and businesses from vandalism. Plus The Navy Act has also been made this year in which the navy must increase and develop the currently used tech every year to prevent the nation's navy from becoming obsolete. Meanwhile, in Burma, the Ahom Kingdom has been fully ceased from Burma as a complete and full on occupation had been accomplished near the end of the year. This attack was lead by 120,000 soldiers that moved into remaining areas of unoccupied ahom and resistant forces. These forces were quickly ceased as The Main Burmese province was cut off due to reinforcements at the border being on the defensive side to prevent a counter attack. The new Sultanate has also ordered the construction of a government runned institution similar to a University to give people an education t help and make the country greater with more institution's to be built as doctor offices and science facilities to expand in knowledge and medicines to help cure disease and to possibly have future inventors in the nation to build off the nation's own tech from European tech as an attempt but is not certain to work. Plans for new colonies after the war are in the works. The development of these will most likely take a decade. The nation continues to grow and develop even in a state of war.

The Sultanate begin to work on mass producing Arms and begin to copy European way of growing food. We send trade envoys, along with sending Imams to spread Islam in West Africa and to South Africa mostly in Benin to win them over. With the spread of Islam in Africa we send imams to help convert them faster, as we send some of their high imams to Rabat to study about Islam. We begin to work on creating roads to ease trade routes. The Sultanate begin to expand into the Atlantic coast line by 15 px. The city Algiers is made the capital of the Sultanate as its population grows,The 2nd biggest city is Rabat as Naval troops being to start families in the area. The Sultan begins to works on cities by opening markets and trading centers mostly at Algiers. The spread of Islam in Zaire is less about shoving it down people belief but more of gaining trust of people by giving out food and things like that, after gaining trust of people we begin to spread Islam into Ziyi (Kongo). Ali al Baba is ordered to work to make more improved ships to reach the new world, a prototype is made on paper. Our ships are sent to trade with Zaire, Mali and tiny west African states. We accept the trade deal with the native tribes as we give them horses and steel in return for food and goods, The newly added region is improved on by working on roads that ease trade and troops movement into the new region. Due to the way of the New World women are given more physically as in helping create the wall or guarding areas. - Oyo Emirate: The new Emirate is put under the rule of a Muslim named Ridwan Amjad he halts the use of jiyzah but does work on trading with zaire. The Emir raises up to 8000 troops as Accra is made the capital. Attempts are made to rebuild the nation as imams are sent to convert the natives but first start by gaing trust and helping the natives. The Sultan begins to work on mining of gold to help improve the Emirate's economy fish is found then traded/sold to the Maghreb and Zaire.

After this revolt we begin to settle down. Meanwhile returning veterans are sent to work on farms, expand our territory in Sibeira, enter the shipbuilding business, or work at the foundires producing gunpowder and weapons. With many citizens of Sakha being relovated to Yakutia, Russian settlers begin to set sup on the Maradan River, making small ports. The Tsar and his Naval Tactician Admiral Gorgy Boborov begins to form plans of a Russian Pacific Fleet.
- It was nice of you to defeat Poland's rebels for them, but you can't just "forcefully vassalize" the country. They still have an army (which is by now recovering from the revolt) and a government, etc. To vassalize Poland in that way you would have to defeat them in a war. As for Sakha, it's impossible to relocate citizens of any country without first controlling the country. If you want Sakha's lands, you have to fight them for it. - Iberian Diplomacy: The Maiam colony is directed to expand into Texas, northern Mexico, and Baja California. These Maian expeditions are sponsored by the Portuguese conquistador Francisco Alves, who arrives in Maiam with an army of 1,500 men to spearhead the first expedition. Numerous Spaniard settlers also arrive in Maiam, most of them following Francisco Alves, while others decide to settle in the Mexica area.

These roads will be a part of a new system that is known as the Trade Freeway which will increase the speed in trade processes. Population in the nation rises to around 26.75 million this year and continues to rise at the rate of 1% each year. Ports have grown and the demand for architects for ship designing have grown as well since the beginning of the PTS class ships. Mints in the nation have created more jobs for the people of the nation. An expedition of colonists and troops is led by visionary explorer Alvise "Marco" Guistiniani of twenty ships, with Alvise himself aboard the il Gulfo heads from Passaggio Nuovo Mondo across the Atlantic Ocean until they reach New Essex, at which point they learn from the colonists that much of the area between English and Knight Hospitaller colonies is open. There he lands ashore and he claims this land in the name of the most Senere Republic of Venice as Terranova, with his men establishing two fortified outposts/settlements that the colonists settle in. First being near New Essex, in a small native coastal fishing village (OTL Matanzas river inbetween St Augustine and Palm Beach) that his men took over, sparing the natives and offering them new lifes to serve the Republic, proclaiming them citizens of the Venetian Republic, giving them medicine to combat the diseases brought by the Europeans, sharing their food and tech with them, while also not allowing crimes to be conducted against the Natives. It is named Marcopolis after Great Venetian explorer Marco Polo, to which the leader of the expedition vastly admired. The second being near the Knight Hospitaller, in a European trapper's encampment (OTL West Palm Beach), named Nuovo Monteriggioni. The colonists settle mostly in the two main forts but some settle inbetween them. Alvise "Marco" Guistiniani is appointed as Governor of Terranova which he founded in the name of the Republic. In both two main outposts ports are established.A second expedition under Lawrence "Polo" Sommaripa of twenty five ships, with Lawrence himself aboard the Bloody Crusader heads from Passaggio Nuovo Mondo to Africa, southern of Morocco, where they persue some rumors of somewhat prosperous small city states, Jolof and Ikun, when they reach them, he demands their capitulation to the mighty Venetian Republic, or else they shall be taken by force, shall they choose to accept, certain advantages are offered, like technology, medicine and weapons to be shared with the locals as well as their rights as Venetian citizens guarenteed. - Russia: We continue to expand 40px into Siberia. Construction of the navy continues. We begin to send expeditions along the Aldan and Maya Rivers. Minor settlements are founded within former Sakha territory. However we must against the will of the Tsar not to piss off the Koreans forcefully extradite citizens. In one arrangement, a group of Cossacks moving on one small village encountered armed resistance. - France: After the Burgundians in a manner of speaking tricked the French into holding onto Calais and a series of other issues including the growing rise in anti- francism in Burgundy and anti- Burgundianism in France it is agreed by the King's council to pursue another war of aggression to settle unsolved issues such as Calais and various colonies which France feels it was denied in the previous war. Charles XI sends a letter to the King of England, Ireland and Scotland outlining his views on another conflict with Burgundy. An army of 440,000 is raised and placed under the command of Count Emanuel Macron who sends 10,000 to the Iberian border and positions 2,500 men at La Perthus, Lourdes, Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port and Hendaye. These troops are under order to simply hold a static position and fortify themselves in, in the event of an Iberian attack they should simply resist the overrunning of their positions and launch artillery attacks on supply lines. In northern France where the bulk of the action is expected to happen the french fleet of 555 ships meets with an English fleet at Dieppe and they sail onto Dunkirk where they can action a open blockade of Calais by intercepting all passing belligerent traffic designed to hurt Burgundy's trade. When it comes to the army, 25,000 English troops and 400,000 french troops invade the Calais region from the west and clear out enemy troops but maintain a blockade of the town of Calais with no physical attacks and their camp at Marck waiting for either a surrender or a battle to be fought this force is personally led by Count Emanuel Macron. Calais as it is under blockade is asked to surrender and the soldiers may march away with their weapons as long as they yield the town. (Mod response) The renaming 30,000 troops are broken down into 3 equal groups with orders to fortify and hold Nieuwport, Lille and Saint- Quentin. With this comes a declaration of war on Burgundy due to growing demand for it at home and Burgundian antagonism.

- Kingdom of England, Ireland and Scotland: After receiving the letter sent by Charles XI, the King goes sleeps in Westminster Abbey alone for the night hoping to see an answer from God and in his dreams he has a vision off in hundreds of years a Britain fully of elderly people, poor, weak government and a weak crown as well as under the sway of Berlin as Europe is unified in Brussels and he decides that this must must never happen and so upon awakening he decides God has told him to push forwards with another conflict. The army is summoned and to be led by Earl Jeremaih Corbyn. He raises 83,000 men and 830 ships with the 830 ships being sent to join with french fleet at Dieppe while escorting 25,000 English soldiers to Dieppe where they will go under the command of Emanuel Macron. 30 ships and 5,000 men are dispatched to travel to English Arcadia and placed under the command of Cornelius Wilmington to be used in the defence of the colony or in any manner seen fit.The remaining 53,000 troops are prepared for the defence of England with a belief that the Scandinavians may attack 20,000 soldiers are stationed in the fortifications of Edinburgh while 5,000 men are held in the fortifications of York and Portsmouth to resist attacks and the remaining 23,000 soldiers are held in London. There is popular acclaim at the King for his decision to confront Burgundy again with while many unhappy at the results of previous wars people see it is important to have a victory. So in conjunction with the French declaration of war, England declares war on Burgundy due to repeated animosity and supporting their french allies in the war. So the English fleet at Dunkirk stationed with the french conducts harassment of belligerent shipping. Meanwhile as Calais was actually quite recently held by the English less than 40 years ago those who still sympathise with the English are encouraged to rebel against Burgundian rule as they are not dutch people and rewards are offered to all those who rise up within the town. Amazonia expands along the coast to São Atto, and California along the peninsula. With Iberia having been called to war against France and England, messages are sent to all Iberian colonies, permitting them to seize French and English colonies and to claim and settle the land. Fighting immediately erupts in Hispaniola. The colonists in São Atto (OTL São Luis) who have been gradually encroaching on French territory since the founding of the colony, upon hearing reports of the war with France, seize the remnant of the French colony and expand down the northern coast to Areia Branca. They are reinforced by 5,000 colonial troops, who continue the march into Brazil, capturing Recife and the rest of the three northern captaincies (red, blue and brown on Oct's map) by the end of the year. These efforts are supported by 8 ships of the Iberian fleet. Having lost their capital provinces, the remaining French colonies in Brazil are ordered to surrender or face harsh treatment. At the same time, the rest of the Rio Guayas bay down to Machala (in OTL Ecuador) is occupied. In continental Iberia, 130 ships are directed to conduct a blockade of Mediterranean France, while 18,000 troops are landed in Provence. The Franco-Iberian border is reinforced, with armies surrounding Navarre and blocking access to Catalonia. 25,000 troops are ordered to stand by in Catalonia in preparation for an advance to Perpignan next year.

The King of Scandinavia's aggreement to permit the continued existence of Catholicism in his conquered lands led the Papacy to send some money to it; this did not afffect Scandinavia's rights in any way.
- Papal Diplomacy to France: Pope Zachary highly praises king Charles' great sacrifice in giving up his favourite pasttime. His offer to grant the Bishop of St Peter temporal power in Brasil is also graciously accepted.
- As the year begins, the Nʉmʉnʉ break their winter camp. While migrating in the early months of the year to follow the bison trails, the People's distinguished peace chief Tennowikah falls ill. The medicine men of the Nʉmʉnʉ attempt to heal Tennowikah by burning peyote, but to no avail. Per the cultural customs of the Nʉmʉnʉ, prior to his death, when the dying breaths were still in him, Tennowikah was curled up, bound, and placed upon horseback. Tennowikah's wives rode with him, due west of the encampment. The great peace chief's bound body was then thrown into a canyon. Tennowikah's wives proceeded to mourn until the leaves returned to the trees and his belongings were incinerated. The haitsii, or council, then met once the mourning process was over to select a new peace chieftain, ultimately settling upon a wise man name Nocoma. All the while, the People had been following the bison trails. When spring came, a good many of the puuku (horses) gave birth to foals, which led to a great celebratory powwow during the summer. During the first full moon of autumn, the haitsii of the Nʉmʉnʉ decided to assemble a war party, led by war chief Okaartsu. The fierce warriors of the People initiated conflict against the weak Tá-ashi (Apache) people of the Llano Estacado, driving many them from their homelands and inflicting death upon their elders. Come winter, the People moved their community back to the north, setting up their tipis for the winter hunts.
- Punjab Confederacy: The current population is 19 million. The Royal Highway has two years to go until the lands are connected by majestic roads which will heavily increase trade. The Royal University of Pratap Nagar is expanding while grants are given to the gifted. The Royal Navy has 75 ships due to recent expansion, and now 20 ships are being produced a year in order to stem the growth of the pirates. The Royal Thane Naval Yard in addition to naval production, also begin to build up a merchant fleet in order to help gain trade influence across India. However some merchant ships go missing, some suspect into the hands of a mysterious pirate. Goa, in addition, is being built up to become a naval and trade port while it is experiencing growth due to the influx of the more skilled, and wealthier refugees. The army is also mobilised in the coastal regions to defend from pirates. Cannon and firearms are continued to be integrated into the military. The Royal Army, begins to heavily refit and train in order to establish itself as the most elite unit in the Confederacy. The cotton plantations are growing with new ones being established to help employ refugees Reforms are planned in order to strengthen the nation. Governmental reforms are still in the stage of being implemented, and despite resistance from many princes, the Confederacy successfully reformed into a more united and centralised state.
- The Dagger: In the year past, "the Dagger" and his great armada has scattered the Marathan pirates and now he is the most powerful pirate of the Punjab coast. Currently "The Dagger" has 35 ships many which were captured from the pirates as well as some acquired from the naval yards and foreign powers. With him wiping out all resistance from fellow pirates, he declares himself "King of the Pirates." Immediately he begins reforming his fleet by implementing a proper command structure with him as the Grand Admiral and divides his fleet into squadrons for different areas of operations. He places his trusted lieutenants as the commodores of the squadrons. He also puts in place a standardised loot systems. He also enforces strict laws to cut down on the worse excesses and begins to reform the fleets into a proper navy. To help this, Punjab officers are sent covertly to help reform the fleet, while promising pirates are sent to the Royal Naval Academy. A Burgundian Galleon is accidentally seized before the news came out about the deal, though it is quickly released after the deal comes to light. However a young charismatic Burgundian preacher, Jozef vun Halle, stays in order to attempt to convert the heathens. Bases are set up in Punjab, and in Ceylon.

Most European and Near Eastern economies are effectively in ruins as the three large wars involving nearly every great power has put trade almost to the wayside as the various empire mobilize more manpower to fight and trade is seized, interdicted, or destroyed. - Tsardom of Belka: With the finalized end to the Great Crusade or coloquially the Great Turkish war, the Belkan army remains at a downsized state however staying professional at the full 80,000. This downsizing in the army however is not made up back into the budget however and is immeidiately redistributed. The Navy having gained notoriety after fighting impossible odds against the Caliphate on multiple high profile engagements, has effectively removed its status as the "joke of the Belkan military". This stigma being removed turns the ship building industry into a feat of near magic. Tsar Kaloyan personally declares that "Belka will field 1000 ships, we will never suffer such a disadvantage again" This resonates with the people who were most at threat during the war and a massive effort it undertaken to begin laying down hulls for the expansion of the Belkan fleet into the strongest fleet in the Medditerrenean. Almost 75 ships are laid down to be constructed and expected to join the fleet next year. Frigates, Galleons, and other ships types are laid down to give belka a diverse force with which to fight with. The creation of a huge shipbuilding industry along Belkas coasts see all sorts of related economic practices skyrocket in need as with hundreds of thousands of men returning home and other sections of the empire becoming demobilized the more permanent economic practices resume and becoming a lumberjack becomes an insanely lucrative and popular profession. Fur trade continues, with King Harald showing off fur clothing to make it an appeal. We send 30k men to deal with the French menace.

- Great Iberia: José Coutinho's expedition results in the discovery of a Pacific route from Tondo to Maiam, to be frequented by certain annual trade galleons (compare OTL Manila galleons). Spanish explorer Sebastián Coronil explores the coast of Alta California in search of safe harbors for ships returning from the east. He discovers San Diego Bay, Monterey Bay, the Channel Islands, and various other locations. One of his ship commanders, Isac Carvalho, becomes separated from the rest of the fleet during a storm and winds up in Oregon, reaching as far as Cape Blanco. Carvalho and most of the crew die on the return voyage, but his records survive. Coutinho visits Ternate and Tidore, offering to open trade with both islands. He is deterred from venturing further south by the French presence there. The rest of French Brazil is occupied this year, including the area around OTL São Paulo. These new territories are administered separately from Amazonia. The inhabitants of the southern captaincies are treated harshly, and forced to give up their land to Iberian settlers. A massacre occurs near OTL Vitoria when French settlers refuse to provide food or housing to Portuguese troops. Much of the city is burnt to the ground afterwards. The conquest of Peru continues uninterrupted due to the complications of French sea access. The Peruvian coast from Huaquillas to Pisco is occupied and administered as part of Nova Lusitânia. A port and naval base is constructed on Mozambique Island off the Swahili Coast. In the continental theater, the border with France is reinforced by another 10,000 troops. 1,356 ships of the Iberian fleet, led by Admiral Manel Fernandes de Amorim, arrive in Calais/Dunkirk to assist the Burgundian, Scandinavian, and German fleets in breaking the Anglo-French blockade, while 40 ships are retained in the Mediterranean to continue the blockade of southern France. The remaining 8 ships in Brazil are sent to Buenos Aires with 4,000 troops to capture the last Atlantic port of French Laurentia (expected to reach Buenos Aires next turn). Finally, 45,000 troops are landed in Provence and joined with the existing army there, before attacking the French army in the field.
- Iberian Secret Diplomacy to Maghreb: Maghreb is offered a ship filled with gold, silver, and treasures from the Iberian colonies, as well as preferential trading rights in Iberian ports, in exchange for closing the Strait of the Berbers (OTL Strait of Magellan) to French ships and their allies.
- Iberian Diplomacy to Sicily: Sicily is asked to join the war and contribute troops to the Mediterranean theater. Iberia also requests military access should Venice join the war.
- Iberian Diplomacy to Papal States: Seeing many European nations turn against the Pope, we send diplomats to the Papal States to reaffirm our loyalty to the Church
- Kingdom of Burgundy: in an effort to improve their defenses, Guyana establishes a series of fortifications on Hart (otl Curaçao), Bonaire (otl Bonaire), and Aruba (otl Aruba), also claiming the islands for the colony. With the arrival of Prussian and Scandinavian reinforcements, Burgundy begins planning its strategy. Supplies, weapons, and ammunition are smuggled into Calais whenever possible, including the new 32-pound fortress cannons. Aside from the Calais garrison, the army holds position inside the Burgundian Border. The navy continues harassing enemy merchant shipping. Meanwhile, in a hope of augmenting the professional army, militia regiments are raised from volunteers, as well as mercenaries hired. Due to the lack of time allowed for training with proper pike and shot techniques, they are armed strictly with snaplock muskets. With reinforcements from Prussian and the Hanseatic Navies (maybe Iberia too), Burgundy launches a counter attack on the English and French blockading Calais. The vastly outnumbered enemy fleet is forced to fall back with casualties. Meanwhile, with the fall of Calais, the primary army, 90k Burgundians, 40k Prussians, 30k Scandinavians, and 22k militia/mercenaries, leave 20k men to man the defenses around Brussels, and move to a position in northeast Champagne to prepare for a possible confrontation. Spies and informants equipped with homing pigeons a set out in a wide information network to keep Burgundy informed of enemy movements. A message is sent to the Knights Hospitallar, accepting their offer, but also requesting that, as Burgundy has financed their efforts in the New World for almost a century, they aid Burgundy in their war against England. - English Arcadia: The continuing influx of immigrants from Europe keeps the population skyrocketing, leaving our population at 680,000. Most of this comes via immigration from England, But French, Germans and even Italians are also prevalent. Wanting to maintain these growth rates over time, Cornelius Wilmington starts several programs to maintain these high rates of immigration. The first is a flat sum of 3 pounds - about 1/4 of an average annual salary given to each family that immigrates to Arcadia. In addition, any family that move can either receive a plot of land, or another 3 pounds if they prefer to live in the city. In order to support these programs and population influx, our governor Cornelius Wilmington continues to expand inland at a rapid pace, notably expanding into OTL north Florida, now claiming much of the Floridian panhandle
in a strip of land that stretches from from the Atlantic to the gulf of Arcadia(OTL Gulf of Mexico). Expansion also occurs in the north, using the Delaware river as the eastern border, to expand into OTL Pennsylvania. In addition, the frontier continues to march west, now at a faster pace. The newly occupied land is mostly reserved for agriculture, but several cities continue to grow along the coast, notably New Essex (On the east shore of Virginia), New Rome (OTL Charleston), and York (OTL Dover). As the population continues to rapidly expand, and English permission secured Wilmington again gathers representatives from around the colony to begin splitting it into smaller governorates. With war in full swing in Europe, we decide to join by invading Burgundian Arcadia. The 5,000 English troops, as well as ships (the 30 provided by the English, and 30 of our own) sail northwards and land in Bilzen, (OTL Boston) hoping to take the city. 7,000 Arcadians also take up arms to invade OTL New Jersey. We also send messages to native Arcadian groups surrounding Burgundian settlements, offering the, arms and land should they attack the Burgundian army. Not wanting any Quattro with the 200,000(?) civilians of Burgundian Arcadia, Wilmington promises to let them keep their land, or provide the, with it, should his invasion be successful. We also promise lenient terms to any Burgundian who surrender or are captured. After the capture of Bilzen, we construct a fort in the area. We also request 8,000 more English troops to continue the assault.- Florida Panhandle is already occupied. Unless you go there and conquer, it's not to be claimed. Plus, you can't go that much inland without a continuous coast. ~Wolves
- Russia: Construction of the navy continues, settlement is restricted into former sakha. Cossack troops continue 40px north of sakha along the coast. Russia touches the Pacific, nothing korea can do, Yakutia is the buffer, boo hoo, Sakha is only a matter in 50 years. Yakutia has a population of 15,000, Markov is withdrawn from Korea as negotiations will only be met in Yaktutian territory. The Grand Patriarch for the ceremonial insult to the pope, calls all the Catholic fathers, bishops, and the pope, people who love your son too much. The Cossacks set up a outpost called Markovgrad (OTL Okhostsk). The Tsar begins large farming projects in southern Siberia to support the population and military. The occupation of Poland ends and 35,000 soldiers are sent to Siberia to enforce our holdings. The soldiers begin to dig a series of fortifications along the Yakut-Sakha Frontier. Russia seeks to put this pike on a rifle from Belka into Russian service (player response from Belka). We stop all relocaltions but continue those already on their way. Many canons diverted for the navy are send on their way to Siberia. The Tsar sets up the Siberian governate with Antaly Yemak as its first governor, he rules from Omsk. As first act he begins to train the male population for war and forms the Siberian Tigers, a group of irrelgulars numbering around 25,000, which are supplied by their farms. We also begin to clear large tracks of land for a new road to Sakhatsk. The Tsar in order not to confuse Vladimirgrad with Vasiligrad, changes the name of the city to Rurikgrad. We raise our flag over Mersin and Antalya. Antalya is renamed Port Alexander after the Tsar.
- Belkan Dip: We agree to sell Russia 50,000 of these as well as their replacements in order to fully outfit a full strength army.
- The Nʉmʉnʉ begin their regular migration as the year begins, following the bison. Upon arrival in the former lands of the Tá-ashi, the haitsii is called to a meeting by peace chief Nocoma. Nocoma, who as a young boy had been captured by the Pueblo Indians until being recaptured by the Nʉmʉnʉ, delivers an impassioned speech to the haitsii, calling for a change in the lifestyle of the People. "For many seasons," the peace chief began, "we have moved as the bison move. This pattern of life in engrained in the souls of our people. A moon ago, as we moved down to follow the bison herds, I had a vision. The horses we ride upon became bison, and I saw the bison living with us as the horses do. This is our common quest: to make the wild bison into a steady supply for our People." With the haitsii convinced of the divinely-inspired nature of Nocoma's vision, it grants conset to Nocoma to tame the bison. The peace chief orders all groups of hunters to capture as many bison as possible.The experiment fails spectacularly, however, as the vast majority of the bison always seem to escape. A few young bison calves, however, fail to escape as they cannot run as fast as the older bison. Nocoma decides that of these bison shall come the future of the Nʉmʉnʉ, who will live domestically like his erstwhile Pueblo captors. As the year comes to a close with winter, the People migrate back to the north, with the young bison in tow.
- France: After securing the land around Calais and the city refusing to surrender but commoners within the city being in favour of a liberation it is decided to carry out an attack quickly. A week long bombardment by land mounted cannons and supported by ships is used to weaken the defences of the city before 380,000 soldiers are sent in a headlong attack on the city. An attack all around the city is launched to force the defences to spread their resources with all gates being targeted and attempts to escelade the walls at several points. This first assault goes well pushing the dutch back into the heart of the city where the French are forced to halt their advance due to confusion and spend the next three weeks reorganising their forces before launching another assault on the remaining defenders overrunning them all and wiping out as well as accepting the surrender of the surviving defenders. Calais has fallen. With the success of the seizure of Calais the army is then moved for an offensive into Champagne hoping to draw the enemy into a battle. 10,000 troops are moved to fortify the city of Valenciennes against an enemy invasion with orders to simply hold the city using the river as an obstacle. Meanwhile 370,000 troops are sent to invade the County of Champagne with the force first advancing onto Epernay and seizing the city from the south west coming from Paris and continuing the advance to Reims which they halt at and dig in within the city although they may still journey out to defend against an enemy invasion from anywhere subject to the orders of Count Emanuel Macron. With Iberia betraying the truce 40,000 troops are moved to Provence to shadow the Iberian army wherever they are but not attack it while another 10,000 men are moved with 2,500 troops each to garrison the cities of Toloun and Marseille while another 2,500 men are moved to the towns of Cebere and Prats-de-Mollo-la-Preste to garrison them against an Iberian attempt to seize Perpignan. Venice is requested to participate in the war. Troops in Java are mobilized for defense of the spice islands. New Valois and French Antarctic are re sized and Recife is fortified. The Peru is resized and fortified. 10,000 soliders and 25 ships are dispatched to the Americas to fight in this colonial war and the Iberian brazil is attacked by this expeditionary force. We promise the Hansetic league free right of distribution of French foreign trade goods for the Baltic in exchange for naval support (mod response).
- Venice: We join the war in France's and England's side against Burgundy, Prussia, Iberia, hiring 50.000 mercenaries. Thorough plans are laid our in the event that Naples participates in this war, as they are believed to be aligned with the enemy by Doge Contarini, although they have yetto reveal their true intentions. Plans laid out for the unfortunate circumstance of Napolitan entry into the war have the full wrath of our 50.000 troops and 1.200 warships falling upon them, invading with 20.000 troops from the land to the south,

- Kingdom of England, Ireland and Scotland: The war is going fair enough so far with the fall of Calais and moves being made into Champagne but there is a worry about the English fleet hauled up in Dunkirk facing a large enemy fleet. There is little which can be done as the Iberian fleet passes through the Bay of Biscay and English channel but due to the size and bad weather it is assumed their are losses amongst the Iberian ships (Mod response). The Burgundy and peeps have obviously taken heavy ship casualties in the attack on Dunkirk anchor but the English fleet has also taken losses. Continued privateer is carried out in the English channel to intercept belligerent shipping. The English forces in France continue fighting under french command while another 8,000 troops are dispatched to English Arcadia to support them in their fighting. The remaining 45,000 English troops are adjusted with 15,000 in Portsmouth, London and Edinburgh each holding these cities inside their fortifications. England has 5.3 million people, Wales has 0.4 million Ireland has 1.6 m to million people and Scotland 1.0 million people.

- Punjab Confederacy: The current population is 19 million. The Royal Army, begins to heavily refit and train in order to establish itself as the most elite unit in the Confederacy. The cotton plantations are growing with new ones being established to help employ refugees Reforms are planned in order to strengthen the nation. - The Dagger: In the year past, "the Dagger" and his great armada has scattered the Marathan pirates and now he is the most powerful pirate of the Punjab coast. Currently "The Dagger" has 35 ships many which were captured from the pirates as well as some acquired from the naval yards and foreign powers. With him wiping out all resistance from fellow pirates, he declares himself "King of the Pirates." Immediately he begins reforming his fleet by implementing a proper command structure with him as the Grand Admiral and divides his fleet into squadrons for different areas of operations. He places his trusted lieutenants as the commodores of the squadrons. He also puts in place a standardised loot systems. He also enforces strict laws to cut down on the worse excesses and begins to reform the fleets into a proper navy. To help this, Punjab officers are sent covertly to help reform the fleet, while promising pirates are sent to the Royal Naval Academy. Since they met, the preacher, Jozef Vun Halle, and "The Dagger" have been engaged in lengthy theological debates and have earnt each others mutual respect. They now have deep knowledge of each others religions, though are unwilling to give way to each other. These arguments has gotten so deep that "The Dagger" has been poring over a translated copy of the bible, though he rejects Christianity. Bases are set up in Punjab, and in Ceylon. Battles begin erupting on the docks between the Kali-Worshippers, the Thuggees, a criminal society and the pirates in order to control the criminal underworld. In order to combat this, "The Dagger" begins increasing his presence on the docks while he also begins hiring a network of informants to track thuggee activity. In order to support these programs and population influx, our governor Cornelius Wilmington continues to expand inland at a rapid pace, notably expanding into OTL north Florida, now claiming much of the Floridian panhandle and expanding down the floridian coast. Expansion also occurs in the north, using the Delaware river as the eastern border, to expand into OTL Pennsylvania. In addition, the frontier continues to march west, now at a faster pace. The newly occupied land is mostly reserved for agriculture, but several cities continue to grow along the coast, notably New Essex (On the east shore of Virginia), New Rome (OTL Charleston), and York (OTL Dover). As the population continues to rapidly expand, and English permission secured Wilmington again gathers representatives from around the colony to begin splitting it into smaller governorates. With war in full swing in Europe, we decide to join by invading Burgundian Arcadia. After capturing Bilzen, the 11,000 British troops are ordered to send 1/2 their ships (30) to to force in southern Burgundian Arcadia. Meanwhile, the British around Bilzen begin their campaign to secure the area further. The Troops in the south, after both sides are reinforced by native allies, begin their assault on new Amsterdam. After the capture of Bilzen and New Amsterdam, major forts are constructed in each city and the armies are garrisoned their.
- France: Economic strain continues but very little which can be done about that right now with money being received from England used to keep the pay of troops up. The war continues, an additional 20,000 men are sent south to reinforce the 40,000 already there. There are 20,000 troops defending the Iberian border and cities in Provence in places the same as the last turn. 5,000 troops are held at Nieuwport, Valenciennes and Saint Quentin. This leaves 370,000 under the command of Count Emanuel Macron, the King tells the Count to hurry up the pace of the war and so 5,000 troops are left in Reims and ordered to fortify the city while 5,000 troops are also left in Chalons- en Champagne and ordered to fortify the city while 360,000 troops under the command of the Count already the victory of Calais and Champagne is dispatched to attack the city of Troyes. He is aware that the city is lightly defended and that the enemy are likely to attack if he makes his move on the city so while marching to attack the city he is aware of the risk to his rear and hopes the units he has left in cities can hold out in his rear. He keeps a good supply of messengers between him and his reconnaissance forces in Champagne in case the enemy make a move. If the enemy do leave their position and make a significant move into land occupied by France the Count plans to double back and fight the enemy in the field. If they hold their position then he plans to storm Troyes in a head on attack. In the south the fight continues with the 20,000 troops sent south to increase the men in Provence and they are ordered to hold position in the face of Iberian attacks and if the Iberian call of their attacks they should continue to shadow. New Valois and French Antarctic are re sized and Recife is fortified. The Peru is resized and fortified. Portugese Brazil is siezed. Losses from the channel storm are bad but because the fleet was at anchor in Dunkirk less so than the Iberians sailing through the channel and the dutch and boys attacking Dunkirk. Privateers continue to hit belligerent shipping. Efforts are made to replace ship losses. With Burgundy moving to Troyes before they can reach it and failing to meet the enemy in the field. The French moves back to Reims garrisoning Sommesous, Bar- de luc and Epernay before setting out again leaving their forces to hold off a Burgundian attack while the count is marching north through largely french held lands to cross into Belgium and seize Brussels. So the current layout of french forces is 20,000 in Iberia and Provence, 60,000 defending Provence, the towns of Bar- de luc, Sommesous, Chalons en Champagne, Epernay, Reims, Nieuwport and Arras all have 5,000 troops defending them while there are 30,000 troops in Paris, 10,000 in Calais and Perpigan and 300,000 attacking Brussels.

Losses taken at sea to both enemy action and due to the storm are frustrating but construction of new vessels is prioritise to keep the fleet going.
- Kingdom of Burgundy: The losses to the fleet are frustrating, but already the Dutch shipyards are hard at work replacing those losses. Recognizing France's economic state, frigates and schooners are prioritized for their raiding capabilities. After almost three years of war, the shipyards have become so efficient that a hyperbole comes into being of a schooners keel being laid down at dawn, and being commissioned at dusk. The large numbers of frigate and schooners of the Burgundian fleet are used to interdict French-bound traffic. Some prizes taken are some of the subsidies England is sending to France, and are subsequently added to Burgundys war fund. With word of the French moving toward Troyes, long a hope of the commanders, the commander of the Burgundian army in the field, Leopold Avelskamp, the Graaf Lasser, undertakes a disinformation campaign. He recruits Burgundian locals to play the part of soldiers, keeping campfires lit, tents pitched, and making as much noise as they can to give the appearance that the Allied army is still out of position. Cavalry regiments make hit and run on the French rear guards to keep their attention occupied looking in the wrong direction, and at the same time they blow up bridges, fell trees across roads, and anything else to harass Macrons army. Meanwhile, recognizing speed of movement is key, Lasser decides to reject the proposal of moving the entire army along the same route, and instead divides it into as series of subdivisions he dubs "bands". Each band moves independently, along parallel routes of travel, swinging around to the east and entering Troyes from that direction after regrouping at Menehould. Orders are sent ahead to Troyes to evacuate the noncombatant population to that same city, sans any volunteers, so all facilities could be used to house troops and hide them from outside observers until their needed at the fortifications. The result is that the Allied army is able to reinforce Troyes. Meanwhile, riders are sent out to various occupied towns behind French lines, calling on them to rise up against the tyrannical French, comparing their autocratic king to Burgundys parliamentary system, and showing the rise of commoner influence in Burgundy, and the commoners lack of power in France (MOD RESPONSE PLS). In SE Asia, the Malayan and Ceylonese Colonial Guards, preparing to defend Singapore from the French assault. - France: Since Burgundian forces reached Troyes first we don't attack and the Count pulls his army back to Reims leaving garrisions of 5,000 men at Sommesous, Bar de luc and Chalon- en champagne. Meanwhile in Tsaritsyn, many new cannon foundries are opened up and in Omsk and Chelyabinsk, the first foundries for rifle production in Siberia. Already army unites are training with the rifle picks and are ready in case of close combat, stab the enemy. Construct of the Sakhatsk-Irkutsk Road continues. In Rurikgrad, the dockyards are heavily expanded to deal with the vastness of the Baltic fleet. Already what's mostly completed of the Black Sea Fleet sails with Count Vladimir von Fischer, a descendent of Livonian German Princes to Port Alexander and Mersin. Immediately by the prince's analysis,the governor, Captain Gustav Yanakovic an ethnic Ukrainian from Byelorussia begins constructions of fortifications and sea defenses around the cities. Ft. Ivan is constructed southwest of Mersin while Ft. Fedorovich is constructed as a ring of heavy gun batteries surrounding Port Alexander.
- Cologne: Archbishop Wulfrich of Cologne continues to oversee a stable Cologne, which continues in trade, specifically in silver, and continues gaining royalties from the printing press all throughout Europe at the least. The economy downturn has affected Cologne significantly, but not to the extent that it is in ruins – it has not contributed its resources to any of these European wars and remains neutral in the conflict. Meanwhile, the archbishop becomes concerned about the re-emergence of “Protestantism”, clearly another form of Kappelism or other earlier heresy, and makes frequent speeches at the League of Westphalia meetings and generally as the Patriarch at the Imperial Synod to the effect that this kind of heresy should not be tolerated or allowed to enter the Holy Roman Empire. The HRE has dignity as a specific German Church, people can air their concerns in the German Paper or other public forums at any time (thanks to the Archbishops of Cologne and their insistence on being charitable and enforcing a strict anti-corruption policy since the 1400s), and even the Pope himself, His Holiness Pope Zachary II, is particularly concerned about German “national” interests given his background. Notably, the Holy German Tribunal is fired back up, per se, to crack down on heresy and discipline in the Church. In other news, the archbishop decides to inject some funds further into the universities to help encourage new young minds to work on inventions. Everything else in Cologne – the militia, the attendance at League of Westphalia meetings, the education system – continues as per normal.
- Essen: The injection of funds from Cologne complements the objectives of the Canonesses of Essen as well, as they continue specifically gearing their studies towards the scientific method and understanding of how things might progress in the future. On the Canoness Exchange Program, some talented canonesses from Tondo, the New World and Japan are brought to the University of Essen to contribute to research in this new age. The University of Essen begins offering bursaries for young women in the outer Holy Roman Empire (specifically states up north) to learn about the equality, discipline and worldly opportunities of Catholicism for German people while they also study in a field of their choice. There are not many participants to begin with, but it is hoped that this system will encourage hearts and minds in northern Germany, specifically with respect to the Northern Rite Church, to be reasonable and not defect to heresy. In Tondo, finally the reigning abbess dies and a new abbess, Angelene Pangilinan, is elected – the first of her kind as a native Tondoese woman. Once the controversy has died off, Abbess Angelene is able to bolster the education system through more charitable works of the Adelphininan Canonesses, and spread (i.e. build small churches), with Korea-China’s consent, throughout wider Tondo (OTL Phillippines). This process is slow, but it begins, mostly using the proceeds from the bestselling Tondoese Medicine book and its success in Europe. In Arcadia, Adelphinian Canonesses are not really that shocked to hear that the Knights Hospitaller have fallen upon hard financial times, given the Canonesses’ knowledge of their system of government. In response to the uncertainty with the deal with Burgundy, the Abbess offers to take over more of the running of the Knights Hospitallers’ colony (to assist in governance and general administration (with a keen eye for economics), with the Knights Hospitaller continuing with ultimate authority), with the Canonesses associated with each regional Councillor (Cannoness Consuls), and remain neutral in the Burgundy-England conflict as per the Knights’ wishes. (Knights Hospitaller/Mod, please respond) Meanwhile, Adelphinian Canonesses remain scared of being crushed in King William’s War, and begin to work with the Seminole people to request protection in the war, given that the Canonesses have been charitably assisting the education and general health of Seminole people for years, and especially given that the Seminole people know the land far better than Europeans could ever hope to know it. (Seminole/Mod, please respond) Finally, they notice that English Arcadia is spreading ever closer to Hospitaller Arcadia, despite also waging a war on Burgundian Arcadia, and note that Hospitaller Arcadia is thus far completely neutral in the conflict. Accordingly, the Adelphinian Canonesses offer to assist with native allies and the general upkeep (of a state whose resources must be flat-strapped) if they respect the neutrality of Hospitaller Arcadia and do not invade. - English Arcadia: Wilmington, having no quarrel with Essen, wholeheartedly agrees not invade them, and looks forward to a bright relationship in the future.
- Tsardom of Belka: With the irrationality of Venice apparent and the establishment of the grand belkan fleet, the Tsar declares open war on Venice, refusing to see the Venetians remain such an arrogant and annoying power, the 80,000 strong army prepares to cross into Venice, promising to free most of the occupied italian area by venice into independent Italian states and supporting the development of the Italian league as a counter to outside interference, to be helped with Belkan support. The home front once again gears up for war and while somewhat dissappointed the people of the country once again head into a war footing, however the lesser status of the enemy compared to the caliphate they recently faced has led the people to believe this will be a quick and decisive war, especially with the movement of the professional army involved in Slovenia. The homefront economy while having suffered from the war has somewhat recovered and the wars development has turned the province of Transylvania into a bustling area with nearly 1.2 million inhabitants with almost half having become belkans. this is less due to the immigration and more due to a large chunk of native Transylvanian vlachs and Hungarians migrating towards the major cities near vlachs in Oured to learn about the mainlne vlach cultures or seek jobs, and the hungarians towards more major cities. The population has reached 10.65 million and growing. The greeks continues to be rebuilt in Smyrna and Nicaea.
- Papal Secret Diplomacy: The Pope secretly sends a secretive diplomat to the Tsar, suggesting that the Papacy could assist by retaking the lands that Venice coerced us into giving away (i.e. the Adriatic coast).
- Great Iberia: The 5,000 troops land near OTL Buenos Aires and march upriver into the heart of New France/Peru, occupying the rest of the colony. Settlements along the Pilcomayo and Parana rivers are destroyed and farmlands are razed, displacing many French colonists and cutting off further access to the region (also making the map look less ugly). With the Strait of Bonapaart closed to French ships and their allies, Iberia firmly controls the west coast of Laurentia. In Europe, 35,000 troops are sent to Navarra, laying siege to Pamplona. Catalonia is reinforced, bringing it to 15,000 troops. 6,000 regulars and 11,000 mercenaries are landed in Provence, bringing it to a total of 80,000. This combined force launches a second attack against the French with the intent to drive them from southern France completely and link Iberian and Burgundian territory. Having once again defeated the French army in Provence, Iberia assumes full control of the region The Iberian fleet conducts raids against French merchant traffic in the English Channel and Bay of Biscay, further damaging their economy. This, combined with the blockading of French ports on either side of the country, immobilizes France on the naval front. Privateers are also utilized in the Caribbean to seize Tortuga from England. Meanwhile, the La Paz colony is abandoned due to lack of settlers. There is a wave of support for establishing a new colony in Monterey, but these plans are postponed until after the war. The two Benguelas are now linked by a narrow strip of land on the West African coast. The fort and naval base on Mozambique Island are completed. (More to come)
- Maiam: The government of Maiam urges Iberia to merge the colonies of Amazonia and Mecicipi into one nation with Maiam to increase safety and security in light of recent wars. Chocolate exports continue, mostly to European nations including England and Iberia. Maiam's population now reflects about half native Mayan and Mexican and half European, with a large mixed-race population. Expansion continues along the northern and southern borders, focusing on the coast. Trade continues up from Amazonia and down from Mecicipi, and these trade routes are upkept. Maiam, seeking to become more self-reliant, begins building it's own navy and armories.
- Iberian Diplomacy: Maiam's request is denied, as Amazonia is geographically separate from Maiam. As for Mecicipi, Maiam is promised some land in future administrative reforms after the war.
- Great Union of Korea and China: Emperor Kim Seothae continues his Yunnan campaign, thereby reunifying the entirety of China. To stabilize newly-incorporated communities, packages of surplus rice and other grains are freely distributed in city squares, while programs aimed at reconstructing infrastructure lost to the war are implemented at full-force. Gold reserves in the north are harnessed to support the monetary value of the Korean mun and aid its implementation. With the Russians refusing to accept his demands, the Emperor still abides to the deal, and aids the relocation of Sakha into the nascent state of Yakutia.
