When Napoleon Bonaparte conquered much of Europe, he established and integrated and reformed numerous states in his conquests. Even switching heads of states during his more then one decade long reign. When the tides of war had turned, they tried negotiations with the coalition. Examples include Eugène de Beauharnais, viceroy of Italy, and Joachim Murat, king of Naples, who both tried securing their thrones and incouraged riots against foreign/non-french rule. Though it failed, the impact left would change the maps and ideas of Europe. Ideals would follow and affect certain events in place. What would happen if thing went differently...
Point of Divergence[]
When the invasion of Russia by Napoleon had failed, many of the client states began gaining concerns that France was going to lose, leading to negotiations with the Sixth Coalition by the client states to switch sides. The Napoleonic Wars ends with the survival of many nations, now considered traitors to the Bonapartists.
