Italy is at war with the Ottoman Empire over Libya.

Sun Yat-Sen is elected as the provisional leader of the Republic of China.

The Agadir Crisis has caused a rift between Germany and the British-French Alliance.

Don't forget about the Triple Alliance (Italy, Germany, Austria-Hungary) and the Triple Entente (Britain, France, Russia)

Welcome!

  • What about the First Balkan War? It was taking place in this year. Or should we ignore it?
  • Second half of 1912.

France: We begin by fully ensuring that Morocco is well controlled, not necessarily because of possible uprisings but instead because of possible foreign involvement. We build a major naval base in Safi, and station two destroyers and a battleship there. Armand Fallieres is President. With tensions rising between the Triple Alliance and Triple Entente, we support the Ottoman Empire in their war with Italy. We look to establish close ties with Russia, and increase trade between us. Anti-German policy continues and we compete in the naval arms race. (Military/Infrastructure).

Bulgaria: The Bulgarian army continues training, and is equipped with new, more modern weaponry. It is considered to be a very good military, "the Prussia of the Balkans". Tensions between the Balkan League (which we are part of) and the Ottoman Empire are rising. The current Tsar is Ferdinand, and the current Prime Minister is Ivan Geshov. While the army continues improving, the infrastructure is improved across the country, especially transportation infrastructure - more railways are being built. (Military/Infrastructure).

  • Ottoman Empire: I would like to join the Balkan League to avoid a war between the Balkan countries and me.

Russia: The Imperial military continues to modernise. Our forces currently consist of 115 infantry and 38 cavalry divisions with nearly 7900 guns (7100 field guns, 540 field howitzers and 257 heavy guns). In order to further improve on the effectiveness of our armies' medical units, we wish to order 200 ambulances from the United Kingdom or the United States.

Mexico: Continues to wage its civil war. Revolutionary generals Pancho Villa and Emiliano Zapata rise in revolt against newly installed President Francisco Madero. After a six-day battle, Mexico City falls to Zapata's forces, while Villa consolidates control over northern Mexico. Other warlords are defeated piecemeal, bringing the civil war to a general end by October. The two generals form a junta to rule the nation and begin a massive program of land reform, redistributing land to peasants. Meanwhile, the revolutionary armies and militias are unified into a single national army. By the end of the year, Zapata has begun applying his quasi-anarchist philosophy, Zapatismo, to governance. Mexico requests to buy arms from any nation willing to sell.

Ottoman Empire: I will send you some arms if you make an alliance with me.

China: On February, 12th, 1912, the Qing Emperor Pu Yi abdicates under internal pressure from the revolutionaries and his prime minister Yuan Shikai. On February, 14th, 1912, Yuan was elected as the first Provisional President of the Republic of China, and he was sworn into office on March 10th 1912. After staging a coup d'etat in Beijing, he was able to persuade the KMT government into continuing the Chinese capital at Beijing. As soon as the Qing government collapsed, regional unrest began, especially in Tibet, Xinjiang, Mongolia and Manchuria. To encounter this threat, Yuan sent 30,000 of his elite Beiyang soldiers into the areas, with its commander Duan Qirui. Yuan also begins minting official silver coins, nicknamed the Yuan Datou (The Large Head of Yuan), as Yuan's portrait was engraved on the coin. Yuan and the Beiyang Clique begins lending its support to Li Yuanhong's Republican Party. New governors are appointed for each province. The Ministry of Economy begins optimization of the taxation processes. Large farm co-operatives begins to be formed in the Yangtze River Delta and Henan. Some factories begins to be built in the Yangtze River Area, particularly in Hubei.

Ottoman Empire: We surrender to the Italians in the Italo-Turkish war. We continue to strengthen are military to keep up with the Balkan League. Tensions between the Ottoman Empire and the Balkan league is low. We propose an alliance with the USA and wish to join the Entente. We also willing to send arms to Mexico to help them in the war if they make an alliance with us. (Military/Infrastructure)

  • French Diplomacy: Fearing a world war, we cannot accept your offer until there are no more tensions in the Balkans. However, we would like an informal alliance that is not legally binding.
  • Ottoman Empire: Agreed

Empire of Japan: The empire continues to improve her military, most notably the navy and marines, seeing it as the key to the Japanese domination of the Pacific. Plans for an expansion of the Imperial Navy are drawn up, with submarines and battleships being the primary goal. The Army is increased to 300,000 soldiers, with conscription being implemented. The Empire's economy continues to grow, albeit slowly, due to the near-absolute mercantilist economy of Japan. Exports do rise, with a trickle of it going to Korea. Attempts to diversify the economy by increasing investments in agriculture and other sectors are done. We send more soldiers to Korea, but start giving Koreans more rights in the Empire. (Do I do a separate area of my post for Taiwan?)

  • Korea: We begin constructing a series of railways from the Chinese border to Busan and southern Korea, branching off into major cities along the way. Factories are built to increase the industrialization rate in the area while farms are built to feed the populace and eventually feed all of the Empire. Economic growth continues as well.
  • You can post for Taiwan, too.

Sweden: Sweden maintains its stance of neutrality, refusing to ally with any of the two major alliances. However, King Gustaf V recognizes the need to have a strong military with a global war on the horizon. An order is placed for three Sverige-class coastal defense ships to protect the coasts of Sweden. The military budget is increased, with funds being used to expand the size of our army. (Military/Economy)

Greece: In response to the Ottoman Empire surrendering Libya to the Italians, we declare partial mobilisation across all of our territory in order to prepare for a war with the Ottomans in the coming months. We also ask Serbia (MOD RESPONSE), Bulgaria and Romania for alliances as well as one with Russia that is completely separate from the Entente Alliance, despite our past relations with them. In Greece, we continue to try to improve our military to be up-to-date with the rest of Western Europe and we begin to build more railroads and public transportation in southern Greece.

  • Serbia: Agrees to an alliance with Greece and Russia.

United States: We decide to maintain our policy of isolationism when concerning European politics, despite this we increase our standing army to 100,000, with another 100,000 in reserve. We decide to increase our naval capacities with the construction of 4 state of the art dreadnoughts. Our industry is expanded.

Serbia: We start a project of major railways connecting Belgrade, Nis, Pristina, Skopje, Tirana, major cities in neighbouring countries and smaller Serbian towns. We begin investment in research toward more efficient and/or renewable energy sources. We also request to join the proposed alliance between Greece, Bulgaria, Romania and Russia. However, we will not participate in a war against the Ottoman Empire unless we are attacked directly. We recognise the Republic of China as the true government of China. (Infrastructure/Technology)

Chile: Military and Technology turn. Chile plans total domination of the South West Pacific and the annexation of the entire West Coast of South America, initiating Operation: Supremacy. Meanwhile, we ask for an alliance with Spain to strengthen ties with its old colonial master. Meanwhile, we seek to promote diplomatic relations with Argentina following the Pactos De Mayo a decade earlier.

  • Spanish Diplomacy: We agree to the alliance in return for assistance in a planned campaign to retake Formosa from Japan and we also ask for control of the Philippines.
  • Just reminding you, this would mean a war with Japan and you're likely not gonna get the Philippines back.
  • Chilean Diplomacy: We support the war with Japan, but remind Spain that the Philippines are currently a US Territory as the Insular Government of the Philippines and has been for over a decade.

Argentina: Begins and continues naval buildup (OTL). Offers an four way alliance with Chile, Uruguay, and Paraguay named the Cono Sur (mod response). Meanwhile, infrastructure is also worked on (INF/MIL).

  • Chilean Diplomacy: Wanting an alliance with Argentina and with none of these nations on the Pacific Coast, the Chilean government accepts the alliance with Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay.
  • [Mod Response, RNG]: Uruguay accepts.
  • [Mod Response, RNG]: Paraguay declines.

Spain: The España is launched after building is complete. We begin patrols around Gibraltar. We also seek an alliance with France and the United Kingdoms. We ask that France grant us a sphere of influence in northern and southern Morocco. (Military/Infrastructure)

  • France: We accept the alliance. There has already been an agreement signed in 1911. We also warn against Spanish involvement with Japan over Formosa.
  • Brazil: Brazil begins to improve its economy, infrastructure and build up its military, mainly the army and navy. Population continues to grow by adding 200,000 people every year. The population of Brazil now stands at 24.0 million people, while the number of military troops stands at 100,000 soldiers, 10,000 cavalries and 3000 number of artillery. Fewer schools, colleges and more houses and mining planets are built. The mining plants produces materials coal and iron, which later used as products from industries. Industry continues improving and few factories are built along in cities, creating jobs for people of Brazil. A few docks and mosques are built. Meanwhile, more new trains are produced and two new railway lines are opened in service.

1912.5[]

After tensions rise in Albania and Serbia, war breaks out between the Balkan League and the Ottoman Empire.

Emperor Meiji of Japan dies, and is succeeded by his son, who becomes Emperor Taisho.

The R.M.S. Titanic sinks after hitting an iceberg near Newfoundland.

A major earthquake hits Port Moresby in British New Guinea, also damaging some of German New Guinea and Cairns in Australia.

Greece: We declare war on the Ottoman Empire along with the Balkan League and declare full mobilisation, passing a law that forces men from 18 to 40 years old to be conscripted into the army. We consolidate our main army in Athens, which numbers to about 35,000. We also do the same with our navy, which numbers to about 45 dreadnoughts. We then move our main army slowly upward, waiting for the Balkan League soldiers to join with us. We still want an official alliance with the Balkan League and Russia, and we continue to improve military technology and general infrastructure, offering our condolences to the people who lost their lives in the sinking of the R.M.S. Titanic.

  • Greece has 45 dreadnoughts?
  • Good point.

Spain: We declare full neutrality in any conflict that will happen in Europe. We send our condolences to the victims of the Titanic tragedy and their families.

France: We begin by recognizing the Republic of China. After debates internally about the Balkan War, we decide to send economic support to our new friends in the Ottoman Empire, while being sure to keep our relations with Russia. Although Spain declared neutrality, we'd like their permission to station ships in Spanish waterways, specifically in the Straits of Gibraltar should war break out. We vote to place sanctions on Italy after their illegal invasion of Libya. We build a series of fortifications along the border with Germany. We place a series of strategic mines just in case, and place a small fleet in the Seine, Moselle, and Meuse rivers to stop any possible German advancement. Finally, we mourn the casualties from the Titanic. (Military/Infrastructure).

  • Spanish Diplomacy: We allow the French to station ships in the Strait of Gibraltar, but we limit the amount of ships to a maximum of 15.

Bulgaria: Tsar Ferdinand declares war on the Ottoman Empire. The Bulgarian army has a strength of 580,000 men after conscription was completed this year, which are divided into five field armies of 116,000 men each. The armies begin their advance: the 1st Army attacks from Elhovo the city of Edirne, the 2nd Army attacks from Haskovo the city of Kardzhali, the 3rd Army attacks from Asenovgrad the city of Smolyan, the 4th Army attacks from near Yambol the city of Kirklareli, while the 5th Army is used as a reserve force, acting as the rear guard of the 1st and 4th armies. The objective is to reach the sea shores in the south, and as close to Constantinople as possible. The armies in Albania and Macedonia will be cut off from the main Ottoman lands if the sea is reached and a barrier is made by our forces. The Greeks and Serbs can then fight and destroy them while we handle the ones in Thrace. Meanwhile, the infrastructure projects are put on hold while the war begins and the industry produces military equipment. (Military/Economy).

  • Serbia: Don't we control Macedonia and Albania at this point? We will assist you in your war only if the Ottomans claim Macedonia and Albania.
  • Albania and Macedonia belonged to the Ottomans (though if you are in the war, then the Balkan League will regain control).
  • Serbia: OK we're in the war, then.

Russia: We repeat our request to purchase 200 ambulances from the US or UK to supply our medical units. We continue to mobilise in the event of war, and begin government reforms to ensure maximum efficiency.

  • Russian Politics: Parliamentary elections are held to form the Fourth State Duma. The Nationalist Party gains the majority of seats.
  • Russian Dip: Wishing for a relatively more secure eastern seaboard and improved relations with its Asian neighbours, the Empire wishes to establish trade routes with Japan.
  • Japanese Dip: Accepts, as we wish to decrease tensions between our two Empires.

Emirate of Nejd: Economy and military continue to improve. The Emir Saud ibn Abdulaziz, being only 14 years old, is secluded to the Palace of Qishlah, whereas state matters are conducted by the Viceroy Zamal Ali Al-Sabhan. A plot to assassinate the Viceroy is uncovered in September, and the conspirators responsible are publicly executed. We encourage the caravan trade across Arabia as well as the annual Hijrah, which occurs in November of this year. We continue to exert control over the dominions of Riyadh and Tabouk. The military is continuously enlarged by purchasing soldiers from local Sheikhs. Additional supplies are taken from raids on Turkish outposts. We ask to open trade with Britain or France.

  • France: Accepts the trade offer, with most of our trade going through the Suez Canal or Djibouti.

Republic of China: Unfortunately, in early June, Zhang Xun, commanding 10,000 soldiers rebelled against the Republic, and reinstated the Qing Monarchy in Manchuria. Yuan immediately ordered 150,000 Beiyang soldiers, commanded by the Dog Meat General Zhang Zongchang and the Dongbei Military governor, Zhang Zuolin, with 50,000 soldiers to crush the rebellion. Zhang Zuolin immediately begins a guerrilla campaign in Jilin and even launched incursions into Liaoning. On the other hand, Zhang Zongchang's army arrived in armoured trains. In the battle of Shenyang (Mukden), Zhang Xun's army (10,000 mutinous Beiyang soldiers and 40,000 Manchu aristocrats with outdated weapons) was crushed by superior numbers, discipline and morale of the Republican army. Public support for Yuan grew after the battle. Another favourable outcome of the rebellion is that Yuan was able to imprison the Qiren (Manchu) population of Beijing for treason and seized their wealth, numbering hundreds of millions of taels of silver (they practically controlled all Chinese income for the entire Qing Dynasty). With the money gained from seizing their property, the Central government was finally able to pay all its civil servants. Furthermore, factories in Manchuria, Hubei and the Yangtze river Delta was invested. The army is consolidated. We improve our military and industry.

  • Ottoman Empire: China, Do you want an alliance so you help me with the Balkan war and I help with your wars.

Chinese Diplomacy: We are willing to purchase rifles, machine guns, radios, armoured cruisers and destroyers.

Serbia: Under pressure from the population, our monarch abdicates and we become a democracy. The first elections are held and the Socialist Workers' Party wins the election. The poorest part of the population can now move up the social ladder by starting a business as they have some money to get them started. Poverty decreases. We become known as the 'Democratic Socialist Republic of Serbia'. We also recruit about 10,000 people and declare war on the Ottoman Empire. (Military/Economy)

Argentina: After Paraguay's decline of the cono sur alliance propaganda gets released to reclaim the land once part of the united provinces. Argentines are split on the issue and it will be a major issue in upcoming elections. Secret a message is sent to Bolivia to ask for assistance should we invade Paraguay.

  • [Mod Response, RNG]: Bolivia declines.

Empire of Japan: We station the navy near Taiwan and the Senkaku Islands. To improve the literacy of the country, scholars are sent to the United States and European countries to learn their economic, political, and educational systems in an effort to bolster the Japan's intellectual capabilities. More universities are built and more students enter the workforce, with a surprising amount of them become scientists, researchers, and engineers. The navy also sees the greatest expansion in the armed forces, with battleships and submarines constructed to secure Japanese domination of the Pacific. The army expands to 400,000 men amidst reports of threats against Taiwan (Tech/Mil)

  • Taiwan: Economy and military Improve
  • Korea: Economy and infrastructure Improve

Ottoman Empire: We are at war with Greece and Bulgaria this turn. More Ottoman troops will be sent to defend Istanbul. I'm offering an alliance with the Netherlands and Chile. They help me with the Balkan War and I help them with their problems. I recognise the Republic of China.I'm prepared to make peace with Bulgaria and Greece.(military/economy turn)

P.S: I won't be posting until Friday. If a world War breaks out I will remain neutral. Can somebody post my turns? Just say military/economy turn.

Austria-Hungary: Our leader Francis Joseph starts the mass production of weapons in factories. We ask Russia, France, and Spain for an alliance. More jobs are being made due to the fact more military factories are being built. We increase our military by having more people join due to a draft. We aid the Balkan nations against the Ottoman Empire, by sending troops. We leave the Triple Alliance.

  • You are in the Triple Alliance, they are in the Triple Entente. You need to have reason to leave, otherwise this escalates to world war.

Sweden: Construction continues on the coast defense ships. Our military, simply known as the Swedish Defensive Forces due to our state of neutrality, continue to expand and occupy forts along our borders. We open more iron mines as iron ore would be very valuable in the upcoming war. (Military/Infrastructure).

Brazil: Brazil continues to improve its economy, infrastructure and build up its military, mainly the army and navy. Population continues to grow by adding 200,000 people every year. The population of Brazil now stands at 24.2 million people, while the number of military troops stands at 120,000 soldiers, 12,000 cavalries and 4000 number of artillery. Fewer schools, museums, colleges and more houses and mining planets are built. The mining plants produces materials coal and iron, which later used as products from industries. Industry continues improving and few factories are built along in cities, creating jobs for people of Brazil. A few docks and mosques are built. Meanwhile, more new trains are produced and two new railway lines are opened in service. After Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Paraguay formed the first alliance, Brazil asks Venezuela, Ecuador and Bolivia for alliance and trade agreement to form another alliance in South America: Grand American Allies.

  • [Mod Response, RNG]: Ecuador declines.
  • [Mod Response, RNG]: Bolivia declines.

Chile: Military and Technology turn. Seeing Brazil forming a counter alliance to the Alliance with Chile and Uruguay, Chile prepares to takeover the Pacific. We then launch an invasion of Peru, following a breakdown in negotiations where Peru demanded to keep Tacna following the Pacific War decades ago. Following this war, many outraged left-wing people form the Socialist Workers party. The Liberals also suffer some defections but survive.

  • Spanish Diplomacy: We offer our Chilean Allies the Alfonso XIII dreadnought battleship and six destroyers for assistance in the Pacific.
  • Just reminding you that this causes Monroe Doctrine issues. Do you really want to risk another Spanish-American War?

1913.0[]

The Balkan League pushes back the Ottomans, making major gains.

Woodrow Wilson becomes President of the USA.

The Ottoman Empire agrees to give up all of the land it had in the Balkans except for what is South and East of Edirne, and they keep Crete.

We need a Chilean-Peruvian War algorithm made. [That'll come soon, I just need to know all the participating countries]

Spain: We open the Strait of Gibraltar to France. We also send two regiments of troops to Chile to support their Pacific Conquest. Problems have begun arising in the Rifian Region of Morocco. Hence we begin construction of two new forts and a series of watchtowers near the Rif region and send four regiments to keep a close eye and ask the France also assist us in case a war breaks out. (Military/infrastructure)

  • French Dip: Although we would love to be allied with Spain, we cannot accept an alliance with Spain unless they back out of their alliance with Chile, as that alliance could cause the US to go against France because of the Monroe Doctrine. However, we are open to helping Spain stop any revolts in Morocco.
  • Spanish Diplomacy: We plan to withdrawal from our alliance with Chile within the next year. We also open Barcelona to France as a staging area.

France: We send some troops, but mainly ships, to Morocco to halt the revolts in Rif. We use this as an excuse to patrol the Strait of Gibraltar. We do not declare which side we are on yet for the wars beginning in South America, as we are waiting for the United States. We strongly advise Spain to stop sending military aid, warning them that they are violating the Monroe Doctrine. We begin building many Zeppelins to be used for bombing. We create an air force, which will include Zeppelins, normal airplanes, and balloons, with the main purposes of bombing and intelligence. We continue our sanctions on Italy and fortifications to protect from Germany. (Military/Tech)

  • Spanish Dip: We agree to withdraw military aid to Chile but continue financial support.
  • Japanese Dip: We request to buy military aircraft and their blueprints.
  • French Dip: We agree to Japan's offer.

Emirate of Nejd: Economy and military continue to improve. The Emir Saud ibn Abdulaziz, being only 14 years old, is secluded to the Palace of Qishlah, whereas state matters are conducted by the Viceroy Zamal Ali Al-Sabhan. We encourage the caravan trade across Arabia. We continue to exert control over the dominions of Riyadh and Tabouk. The military is continuously enlarged by purchasing soldiers from local Sheikhs. Raids on Turkish outposts continue, and military presence increases on the desert near the Hejaz. The military is modernized using technology from France.

In Mexico, the new People's Republic consolidates its position. The army and navy are built up off a core of revolutionary soldiers, while members of the old regime are expelled or shot. Land redistribution and collectivization continues, while the new national ideology, Zapatismo, continues to be propounded by Premier Emiliano Zapata. The dual rule of Pancho Villa and Zapata remains stable and thoroughly in control. With the dictatorial nation of Guatemala continuing to repress its people, Mexico declares war, invading with 150,000 troops.

Republic of China: Early this year, the first National Assembly elections of the Republic of China has been passed with a narrow victory for the Republican party, scoring a little over half of the seats with 146 senate seats and 307 house seats. KMT won 95 senate seats and 243 house seats. The Republican victory is attributed to Yuan's victory is crushing Manchu remnants, the acquisition of the Qing treasures and the salary of the civil servants. Sun Yat-sen, angered by this loss, accused the Beiyang government of rigging the election. The heads of the KMT, Song Jiaoren, Huang Xing and Sun Yat-sen began to part ways, with Song Jiaoren and Huang Xing staying in Beijing and starting the Progressive Party, while Sun Yat-sen went to Guangzhou with the remnants of the KMT. Zhang Tianyou, the Minister of Transportation unveils a railroad plan from Beijing to Shanghai. Yuan quickly approved of it and constructions work for the first section, Beijing to Baoding, began. More factories were built in Manchuria, Hebei, Hubei and the Yangtze River Delta and the first Chinese fertilizer factory is built in Suzhou. We improve our industry and military. The army of the Republic of China is consolidated and now numbers a million, with 300,000 modern soldiers and the rest outdated at around 1890. Our first artillery corps, numbered at 10,000, is built.

Chinese Diplomacy: We are willing to purchase rifles, machine guns, radios, armoured cruisers and destroyers for great prices.

Empire of Japan: The Empire of Japan sees that control of the skies leads to control of the battlefield, and thus, funding and research goes into the formation of an Imperial Japanese Air Force. The air force, currently empty of actual aircraft, has placed an order for zeppelins to contractors. The Empire recruits a series of aeronautical engineers and military scientists to design Japan's first military aircraft for use of the Air Force. The navy sees more buildup as more submarines and powerful battleships are built. The army produces more weapons and recruits more soldiers, currently at 450,000 men. Scholars continue to study abroad to learn the workings of foreign countries while more universities are built and more scientists work for the government (Mil/Tech)

  • Korea: Economy and infrastructure are improved.
  • Taiwan: Infrastructure and military are improved.

Austria-Hungary: All factories are mass producing military weapons and vehicles. The first prototype tank is made. The blue prints for this tank is kept a secret from the rest of the world. Planes for our air force are being built. The navy has about 100 ships in its force. Farming is our second biggest industry after the military industry. The building of new universities are underway for more scientists can do their secret work for the government. We try every way to leave the Triple Alliance. We ask Germany if we can break our alliance that we have.

  • Tanks were only invented because of trench warfare, which isn't happening yet.

Brazil: Brazil continues to improve its technology and build up its military, mainly the army and navy. Population continues to grow by adding 200,000 people every year. The population of Brazil now stands at 24.4 million people, while the number of military troops stands at 140,000 soldiers, 14,000 cavalries and 5000 number of artillery. After Peru was slowly defeated in Chilean-Peruvian War, Brazil declares war on Peru, as the president Hermes da Fonseca wanted to expend Brazil more into outside country's borders and simply invade it with 60,000 soldiers, 10,000 cavalries and 2,000 number of artillery.

  • NOTE: Peru has not yet been defeated. It is losing, but has not yet lost. Algo is done every turn.

Chile: In the Chilean-Peruvian War Chilean forces begin to take over Peru. As Brazil also launches an invasion of Peru, we become wary of them and begin creating the Treaty of Santiago to end the Chilean-Peruvian War. Because of the war, we develop Chilean military technology, and aim to become as technologically advanced as Spain. Chile introduces War Taxes, allowing the economy to improve and more money to go toward the soldiers, boosting morale. (Military/Technology turn)

  • NOTE: Peru has not yet been defeated. It is losing, but has not yet lost. Algo is done every turn.

Democratic Socialist Republic of Serbia: We invest further in renewable and efficient energy sources, building ten windfarms across the country. We improve our military because of the threat of a world war. (Technology/Military)

Sweden: The coastal defense ships complete construction and are sent to patrol the Baltic and Sweden's Baltic coast. Internal improvements such as railroads to link the nation begin, as well as continuing expansion of our iron mines.

Greece: We end mobilisation and bring our official armies back to friendly territory. We continue to try to improve our military technology and our infrastructure. We also ask Spain and France for alliances. (Technology/infrastructure)

Bulgaria: The Bulgarian army, victorious, begins demobilization, with newly acquired territories being fully integrated into Bulgaria. The army will remain at a strength of 100,000 men, which is adequate for peace time. We continue to improve our economy and infrastructure. (Economy/Infrastructure).

1913.5[]

The Peru war reaches an interesting point where Chile and Brazil are about to conquer Peru. And fight each other? (Algo soon)

Out of a new fear, Bolivia is forced to pick a side, and declare war on Peru, in tandem with Brazil.

Pancho Villa of Mexico is shot, and miraculously does not die but remains in critical condition.

The Balkan Nations need to decide on borders.

Spain: The Rifian conflicts get worse as several Spanish outposts are overrun. We will accept any offer to help put a stop to this rebellion excluding those that will cost us our neutrality in European conflicts. (Military/Infrastructure)

  • France: France sends military help.

France: We continue to improve our air force and navy. We agree to an informal alliance with Greece, which is not legally binding but will cause us to send weapons and economic support in case of war. Concerned with the wars in South America and wanting them to stop, we embargo Chile, Brazil and Argentina. We station ships mainly in the Strait of Gibraltar, Djibouti, Corsica, and Indochina. We send 2000 soldiers to Corsica as we are scared of it possibly falling to Italy, fearing an amphibious invasion of Southern France. We hope to officially have an alliance with Spain once hey officially leave their alliance with Chile. We stop the sale of weapons and military technology to foreign countries as we are preparing for the war. (Military/Infrastructure)

Brazil: Brazil continues to improve its technology and build up its military, mainly the army and navy. Population continues to grow by adding 200,000 people every year. The population of Brazil now stands at 24.6 million people, while the number of military troops stands at 160,000 soldiers, 16,000 cavalries and 6000 number of artillery. Fewer schools, museums, colleges and more houses and mining planets are built. The mining plants produces materials coal and iron, which later used as products from industries. Industry continues improving and few factories are built along in cities, creating jobs for people of Brazil. A few docks and churches are built. Meanwhile, more new trains are produced and two new railway lines are opened in service. The Brazilian Armed Forces continues pushing into Peru, currently occupiers East of Andes. While Peru is defeated in Peru War, Brazil proposes the Brazilian proposal in Treaty of Santiago that its stands: Peru would cede East of Andes and regions in northernmost Peru to Brazil.

  • Chilean Diplomacy: We demand the entire Pacific coast and the Southernmost region, but other than that we are not interested.

Empire of Japan: Military and technology are improved. Our scientists begin to tinker with the newly purchased French warplanes to reverse-engineer or improve them, since blueprints have been given to us. The literacy rate continues to grow as universities are expanded and the technological expertise of Japan grows. Industries continue to improve as factories supplying various needs for exports for the country, and for the military are made, while the army continues to grow and the production of battleships and submarines continue for the navy. (mil/tech)

  • Korea: Improves infrastructure and military.
  • Taiwan: Improves economy and military.

Austria-Hungary: All factories are mass producing military weapons and vehicles.  Planes for our air force are being made. The navy has about 115 ships in its force. Farming is our second biggest industry after the military industry. The building of new universities is continuing for more scientists can do their secret work for the government. We try every way to leave the Triple Alliance. We ask Germany if we can break our alliance that we have. Due to the fact that the Balkans are trying to redo the border, we declare war on Romania. We send 150,000 troops into Romania.

United States: We decide to maintain our policy of isolationism when concerning European politics, despite this we increase our standing army to 150,000 ,with another 100,000 in reserve. We decide to increase our naval capatities with the construction of 4 state of the art dreadnoughts. Our industry is expanded.

Republic of China: Yuan. as he began to take full control, thinks about becoming an emperor. His son, Yuan Keding, tries to persuade him to become the next Prince Regent. However, Yuan Kewen sabotages his efforts, fearing persecution after Yuan Keding becomes Prince Regent toward his possible competitors as an heir. Hence, Yuan, discouraged by his son, his advisors and officials, decides to not attempt to be an emperor, at least, not until a dozen years later. We improve our industry and military. The second stage of our railroad, Baoding to Jinan, begins construction after we finish the part from Beijing to Baoding. More factories are built in Manchuria, Hubei, Hebei and the Yangtze River Delta.

Chinese Diplomacy: We are willing to purchase rifles, machine guns, radios, armoured cruisers and destroyers for great prices.

In 1910, his father had attacked the nation with Russian support trying to regain it, but he was unsuccessful. After the refusal of a Russian ultimatum demanding the dismissal of an official in 1911, Russian troops had marched on the capital, which caused a group of forces to surround the parliament building and demand an acceptance of the ultimatum and also suspended parliamentary activity. Not much had happened in the nation since then, but now the young Shah saught support in removing British and Russian influence from the nation. He seeks allies in the disorderly nation, looking for people loyal to the monarchy. We request an alliance with France, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania and Russia against Austria-Hungary.

Given the lack of response from the United States and the United Kingdom, we attempt to build our own vehicles. (RNG for success rate, please) We begin to increase the expansion rate of the Imperial Russian Air Service, foreseeing the potential importance of aircraft in any war to come. We begin building more armed biplanes, expanding our already massive air force which is now second only to France (this is true, proof here) as we now possess 263 aeroplanes and 14 airships.

  • [MOD RESPONSE, RNG] You build ambulances at a moderate rate.

Infuriated by Mongolia's attempt to secede from the Republic of China, Yuan calls on the Beiyang soldiers to crush the uprising. Immediately, the 10,000 elite Beiyang soldiers start approaching Mongolian positions. 50,000 soldiers, commanded by Zhang Zuo Lin, moves from Manchuria into Mongolia, and another 100,000 soldiers are sent from Beijing to Mongolia. Our three main boat factories, the Jiangnan boat factory, the Fuzhou boat factory and the Tangu boat factory. Our first destroyer, the ROCS Qiangtang, is built in the Jiangnan boat factory.

Chinese Diplomacy: We are willing to purchase Taiwan from Japan. We give a price of one billion pounds, with an initial payment of 100 million pounds and no less than 50 million each half year for no more than 20 turns. Japan would inherit use over the ports of Kaohsiong, Keelung and Taichung without needing to pay taxes and with a permanent docking area.

We ask the USA to change their Monroe Doctrine so that it only affects North America, as they have no business in South America. We also begin building up our navy, as part of our Pacific Domination. (Mil/Tech turn)

The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland: with wars being fought across the world, we build up our armed forces, particularly our navy, as much as possible. our military stands at about 5 million men from the nation proper, and many more colonial recruits. Our navy is modernised and improved with several new dreadnoughts and armoured cruisers. Our industry and infrastructure are expanded.

  • Chilean Diplomacy: We ask the USA to change the Monroe Doctrine to North America as you have no business in South America.
  • French Diplomacy: We urge the United States to declare war on Spain for not learning anything from the Spanish-American War, citing the Monroe Doctrine. The Mongols, tired and with little ammunition, is crushed by the Manchurian Cavalry. What followed was a slaughter. The Manchurian cavalries crushed the Mongol formations and delayed them until the Chinese infantry arrived with a radio call from the cavalry regiments. The infantry engaged them in a close melee fight. Finally, the use of bayonets and platoon firing wiped out the majority of the remaining cavalry. In the end, only 3000 Mongolians managed to escape compared to a 22,000 Chinese casualty. Afterward, the Chinese army captured the Mongol Capital of Ulaan Bataar, and later most major cities of Mongolia. By February, 12th, the Chinese force has recaptured Mongolia. • Chinese Dip: Minister of Diplomacy Wellington Koo agrees to attend the Conference of Nice as representative of the Republic of China.
  • China can't get there realistically because Britain still has the Suez Canal.
  • Well, telegrams anyone?
  • Or overland through the Trans-Siberian Railway, I think I can get to Nice in three months.
  • Also, if you didn't notice, France only invited Mediterranean Allies so that it would not need to deal with travel. And you can have a separate one for the Pacific with Thailand, Japan, and Indochina if you want.

Thailand: Thailand continues building up its military and improves infrastructure. New ports also continue construction. Monarch Vajiravudh begins planning reforms for the nation. Thailand continues war against the UK, though backs out of Malaya after a failed invasion.

  • France: Suggests a second invasion of Malaya with help from French Indochina.
  • Thai Diplomacy: After some thought, Monarch Vajiravudh agrees, and decides to launch another invasion of Malaya.
  • France: Backs out of this after deciding to put all, Empire-wide focus on invasion of Britain. Thailand also will therefore rescind invasion unless they want to go ahead alone.

Chile: The Chilean government waits for a response from the USA in relation to the Monroe Doctrine change. We also deploy troops to the UK to try to gain land in the homeland. Meanwhile, Chile attacks the British from the air with the Chilean Air Force launching attacks on British South America. We continue work on Operation: Weapon of Steel and develop a moving heavily armoured vehicle nicknamed the "Armourtron." We continue to improve Chilean citizens quality of life to lower chances of rebellions when we annex more territory in South America. (Mil/Tech turn)

  • Absolutely no. Not only is it crazy or Chile to have an air force at this time, but the first transatlantic flight hasn't even occured yet. Plain no. All troops would need to go by boat
  • Apologies, I should have made it more clear that I was focusing on their South American colonies.
  • That's still unrealistic unless you can land in Colombia or Venezuela on the way.
  • Brazil is at war with them too, so I suppose I could.

Republic of China: We improve our industry and military. The final stage of our railroad, Nanjing to Shanghai is finished by . More factories are built in Manchuria, Hubei, Hebei and the Yangtze River Delta. More farm collectives are built in agricultural states. Taiwan is bought from Japan and incorporated as the Province of Taiwan. Sa Zhenbing is appointed as the governor of Taiwan. With Mongolia and Hong Kong recaptured, we also capture the leased territories Shanghai. Sun Yat-Sen starts operations to clear the sunken ships and salvage British vessels. After more than two months of work, he has salvaged the first Chinese Battleship from the sunken HMS Resolution of the HMS Royal Sovereignty Class Battleships. It is renamed ROCS Fujian and naval engineers immediately conduct research on the ship. We send 200,000 soldiers, veterans from the Mongolian War, Battle of Hong Kong and fresh recruits, toward British Malaya. They pass through French Indochina and Thailand and begins attacking the British Colonial possessions. Chiang starts spreading KMT ideals in the army. We sent the 11th army into Burma and it enters Bangladesh. Mao Zedong becomes a lieutenant after leading his battalion to defeat a British-Indian Platoon using mobile warfare tactics. His platoon also becomes one of the first elite after being trained by Mao and also taught Mao's Communist ideas. However, due to Mao's dangerous political alliance, the High Command sent him as a military advisor to the Indian Guerrillas. There, Mao met Barin Ghosh and they begin to lead a campaign of guerrilla warfare against the British colonisers in Bengal. We begin constructions of our first cruiser, the "Huangshan" in the Jiangnan boat factory.

Chinese Diplomacy: We send Wellington Koo to the Conference of Nice through the Trans-Siberian Railway.

  • Again, you weren't even invited because of travel and most of the topics do not concern you.

Brazil: Brazil continues to improve its economy and build up its military, mainly the army and navy. Population continues to grow by adding 200,000 people every year. The population of Brazil now stands at 25.4 million people. Continue mass building of early fighters and bombers on military airports. Fewer schools, museums, colleges and more houses and mining planets are built. The mining plants produces materials coal and iron, which later used as products from industries. Industry continues improving and few factories are built along in cities, creating jobs for people of Brazil. A few docks and churches are built. Brazil continues mobilization and is 68% completed. Meanwhile, more new trains are produced and two new railway lines are opened in service. While Britain is about to fall and defeated by Allies in World War I, Brazil declares war on United Kingdom, as Venceslau Brás declares that state of Brazil wants to take British Guiana and made it into Dutch territory of Brazil. 100,000 soldiers are send to attack British Guiana.

Empire of Japan: The Empire continues its war against the British Empire in Australia, as the Nippon Kaigun moves into Australia to blockade British Oceania and engage the Royal Navy vessels stationed there. We send an additional 100,000 soldiers to Australia and deploy 20 biplanes in an attempt to test them. With a war ongoing, military spending increases to 8% of GDP/GNP, with more equipment, most notably guns and artillery pieces are made. The air force sees massive expansion, while more navy ships are constructed. More railways and factories are built (Mil/Infra) We propose the formation of an East Asian Commonwealth with China, with the aims to increase defense, political, and economic co-operation between our countries

  • Korea: Military and infrastructure are improved.
  • Chinese Diplomacy: We join the East Asian Commonwealth as a founding nation and we ask that Siam would be invited to the Commonwealth.

Russia: Russia begins sending forces into Western Australia where the enemy is less concentrated. We attempt to take Perth, and begin bombing raids on Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide, leaving Japan to deal with the north. Our navy engages the Royal Navy forces stationed in Perth and at Port Hedland. Popularity for the Tsar skyrockets as the war seems to be going well for the Empire.

  • France: Strongly advises Russia to send their troops to mainland Britain for an invasion rather than attacking Australia. Australia can come later.

Ottoman Empire: As our invasion of Yemen failed, we are starting our invasion of Kuwait where we put about 250,000 troops to overthrow the British. We are continuing our invasion of Qatar where we're sending another 250,000 troops. We are sending 100,000 to defend our part of Yemen while we got 20,000 to spare. We are continuing our military buildup and now we've got a standing army of 620,000. All of our resources go to the war effort. (Military/Tech)

Persia: Persia attacks Kuwait, Trucial States, Oman, and Yemen.

Germany: The Kaiser, Wilhelm II, is killed in a tragic motor accident this year. His much more liberal son, Wilhelm III, takes power. At the advice of the Social Democratic leader Friedrich Ebert, whose party seizes control of the Reichstag, he urgently begins increasing the power of the civilian administration, stripping the military of much of its power over policy. Meanwhile, liberalizing reforms, including expanded welfare and better worker protection laws. However, Chancellor Ebert decides the military administration needs a war to distract it. With Austria-Hungary having left the Triple Entente, Germany sees a major threat to its predominance in Central Europe. Furthermore, the Austrian invasion of Romania, ruled by a fellow Hohenzollern, is seen as an attempt by the Habsburgs to expand its dynastic interests. Accordingly, Germany declares war on Austria-Hungary, mobilizing two million troops for a massive invasion into Galicia and Austria itself. German columns rush for Vienna, Budapest, and Innsbruck, declaring a war of German national liberation from the corrupt and ineffective Habsburgs. Germany secretly promises the Hungarians and South Slavs independence after the war, and many rush to support the German troops. Serbia is secretly sent an offer of Bosnia-Herzegovina if it will attack Austria from the South.

Italy: We continue with nationalizing the industry and dedicating the industry and infrastructure to the war, resulting in the rapid expansion of industry and infrastructure. With the success of the military campaign in Northern France, there is a surge of nationalism, and the Nationalists continue to grow in power. We also join the Anti-British Alliance in their invasion of the United Kingdom and send 15,000 troops to the invasion and we invade the British city of Plymouth. As a result of the growth of infrastructure and the military build up, we invest in infrastructure and military this turn.

Austria-Hungary: All factories are mass producing military weapons and vehicles. Planes for our air force are being built. The navy has about 175 ships in its force. Farming is our second biggest industry after the military industry. The building of new universities is continuing for more scientists can do their secret work for the government. We try every way to leave the Triple Alliance. We ask Germany if we can break our alliance that we have. Since Germany is attacking we shift our army from attacking Serbia to attacking Germany.

  • Good News and Bad News. Good News: You get to leave the Triple Alliance, because the two alliances have fallen apart. Bad News: Your only remaining ally is Britain.

1916.0[]

War Update: Allied invasion of Britain is successful, and London is surrounded. Australia pushes out Japanese troops. Germany and Serbia begin to make gains in Austria-Hungary. Qatar falls to Jabal Shammar and Kuwait to the Ottomans, but invasions of Yemen and Oman fail. Northern India has been conquered by China and Siam.

Ireland declares Independence from Britain. Romania declares independence from Austria, and joins the allies.

With Germany now in the war, Holland declares war on Britain.

Thailand continues war against the UK, and also holds of invading Malaya until France finishes their war in Britain proper.

Norway: Neutrality is currently the norm. Although we seek no alliances, we desire to have at least peaceful relations with our neighbors ... except for Denmark. (Military/Economy Turn)

Republic of China: We improve our industry and military. Mao Yi Sheng 茅以升, the great architect and engineer, builds the final part of the railroad, including the first Chinese built bridge over the Yangtze River. More factories are built in Manchuria, Hubei, Hebei and the Yangtze River Delta. By now, there are more than 10,000 factories opened in China. (In OTL, 4000 are built from 1912-1914). More farm collectives are built in agricultural states. We establish mandatory elementary schools all over the country, for children from six years old to 12 years old. We continue banning opium in the country, establishing many rehabilitation centers. Hong Kong is re-incorporated into the country as a free trade area, where tariffs are next to nonexistent. It quickly regained its status of one of Far East Asia's greatest cities. With us at war against the United Kingdom, we forcibly reclaim rights to our tariffs, customs and salt taxes. Sun Yat-Sen appoints his student Wang Jinwei as the governor of the city. Our 200,000 soldiers begin attacking British Malaya. With the support of Chinese immigrants, our army moved rather quickly, reaching the suburbs of Kuala Lumpur by the end of June. Meanwhile, the 11th (Bangladesh), 12th (Hindustan) and 13th (Sindh) army continue making gains, as we push into the Indian Peninsula. In our occupied territory, we establish four main nations, Bengal, Hindustan, Sindh and Panjab. Mao Zedong, in his guerrilla campaigns, wrote "On Guerrilla Warfare", with the sixteen word thesis of "When the enemy advances, we retreat. When the enemy is fortified, we harass. When the enemy is tired, we attack. When the enemy retreats, we chase them down" (敌进我退,敌驻我扰,敌疲我打,敌退我追). In June, 6th, President Yuan dies after six days of sickness. His last words were "to rid Japan of a great enemy, to rebuilt democracy and republicanism in China" (為日本去一大敵,為中國再造共和). After his death, elections begin in the parliament between two main candidates, Li Yuan hong and Duan Qi rui. We begin building our first battleship, the Mountains Class, with the first battleship "Taishan", after finding blueprints and designs in Hong Kong.

  • Thai Diplomacy: Monarch Vajiravudh goes to attend the funeral.

We also continue air raids on London and other British cities. Our armies are readied to land in Britain. Rail networks throughout the Empire are expanded. A Trans-Siberian Railway begins construction. (MOD RESPONSE, PLEASE in respect to Australian attack)

Ottoman Empire: After the Ottoman Empire has taken Kuwait, 20,000 more men joined the Ottoman army. Now we prepare for an amphibious invasion of the Emirates. 520,000 men will be sent to the Emirates. We still keep 100,000 men in Yemen. After the Emirates are defeated we are going to keep neutral in any other conflict. Mehmed V announces that after the Emirates are defeated, they'll be construction project to premote the standerred of living in the Empire. It will be called the Mehmed project.(Mil/Tech)

Chile: With the UK being crushed in South America, we ask our allies, Argentina and Uruguay, to declare war on the UK. We decide to attack Australia and New Zealand, following the Japanese defeat there. Meanwhile, we begin to look at ways for our armoured vehicle to attack. While Brazil is sending most of their troops to attack the UK, we retreat back to the Pacific Coast of Peru and the Southernmost section, declaring these lands ours. We also set up a puppet Peruvian government in our occupied territory that we don't annex. (Mil/Infra turn)

Empire of Japan: The defeat in Australia has encouraged more Japanese men to serve their emperor, with roughly 200,000 more men voluntarily joining. The amount of biplanes in Australia increases to 50 and three combat dirigibles enter service in Australia. The Navy also blockades Eastern Australia and New Zealand in an attempt to starve them into submission The infrastructure is improved as roads are built, widened, and improved to accommodate the vehicular expansion the middle class while more railways are built. The navy produces more ships and the army and air force expand. We offer to buy the Philippine islands from the United States

  • Korea: Economy and infrastructure improve.
  • [MOD RESPONSE, RNG]: USA declines.

Austria-Hungary: All factories are mass producing military weapons and vehicles. Planes for our air force are continuing to be built. Factories start to make prototype tanks. Blue prints for the tanks are kept in secret. The navy has about 190 ships in its force. Farming is our second biggest industry after the military industry. The building of new universities is continuing for more scientists can do their secret work for the government. We still send troops to the German-Austrian border to not allow German troops to come into our nation. We ask Serbia for a white peace. We will not give up our Romanian gains.

  • Tanks were only a result of trench warfare, which has not happened yet (but may be interesting in your front...)
  • Romania declared independence and is now fighting against you.

Emirate of Nejd: Military continue to improve. The Emir Saud ibn Abdulaziz dies of a fever, and thus the Viceroy Zamal Ali Al-Sabhan is proclaimed the new Emir. Machine guns, gas masks and bayonets are purchased from the French. Having been pushed back in the Gulf, the Emirate concentrates its forces to the south against the Protectorate of Aden and Oman. We call on Spain and Persia for support.

  • Germany: Offers Nejd a trade deal, including help in industrialization in exchange for cheap oil.

France: France, now that we are close to capturing London, makes a peace proposal to Britain. We offer Britain to retain their independence, in exchange for the allied powers to divide up their colonies. We also ask that Canada and Ireland (and possibly Australia) become independent nations. This deal would also lay out how to divide military supplies among the colonies, and force Britain to pay reparations. But still, this is better than making Britain into post WWII Germany. We continue to beseige London and capture land farther North. We recognize Irish independence. (Mil/Tech)

  • Russia: The Empire protests against the motion of making Australia and Canada independent nations, as we wish to occupy territories within western and southern Australia in the event of Britain's surrender.
  • France: We will allow Russia, China, Japan, and others to have colonies in Australia.

Sweden: With the war going against Britain, we decrease our iron ore shipping to Britain and increase it with France. Our food shipments to the Allies also increased. The nation continues industrialization, with new factories opening in Stockholm.

Germany: Continues to war against Austria-Hungary, with its vastly superior troops fighting a maneuver war that prevents the Austrians from delaying their advance or setting up defensive works. The superior German air force proves essential, providing German artillery with vital intelligence, and planes begin to be loaded with ordnance to drop on battlefields. With the Tyrol and Bohemia liberated, Germany incorporates the ethnic-German areas it has occupied into Germany, while the Czechs are granted wide autonomy. Germany continues to incite nationalism among the Magyars, South Slavs and Czechs, urging them to rebel. Tens of thousands greet the German troops as liberators, with independence promised after the war, and join special units set up for that purpose. Meanwhile, the German fleet enters the Mediterranean, smashes the tiny Austro-Hungarian one, and lands an expeditionary force near Trieste, outflanking Austrian defensive positions near Innsbruck and allowing German troops to seize Carniola and German Austria. In the north, German troops force their way into Galicia and push for the Hungarian Plain.

Currently the invasion of Britain is going well, and now that we are at the border of London, we share the same ultimatum France has, we shall not conquer England proper by capturing London if they agree to enter peace negoatians, with a part of that dividing its colonize amongst the Anti-British Alliance. We also prepare for an invasion of London if the British refuse and prepare our diplomats to negoiatate the Treaty of London. As a result of the growth of infrastructure and the military build up, we invest in infrastructure and military this turn.

Raids on Turkish outposts continue, and military presence increases on the desert near the Hejaz. Machine guns, gas masks and bayonets are purchased from the French. Having been pushed back in the Gulf, the Emirate concentrates its forces to the south against the Protectorate of Aden and Oman. We call on Spain and Persia for support. Meanwhile, German troops push toward Budapest plain, smashing through the last Austro-Hungarian lines, while German flying columns seize control of much of Croatia. (Military/Industry Turn)

  • Germany, noting the discussion over an invasion of Denmark among Norwegian politicians, warns that if Norway takes any military action against Denmark then it will be punished accordingly by Germany.

Another line will go from Doha to Istanbul. Future lines are being planned like joining Dhabi to Istanbul to Doha line and Baghdad to Damascus. I propose that we create a 'League of Nations' for all the allied nations except from the Nedj. If they give me the Northern part of the Emirates. The League of Nations will be centered in Jerusalem. (Infra/Eco)

  • French Dip: We remind the Ottomans that if our proposal to the Treaty of Nejd stays, then any attempt to invade an ally (Nejd) would require the whole allies to intervene.
  • Nejd Dip: The Sultan rejects the Ottoman offer, denounces their existing claim on Arabic people, and defies them to wage war on the holy people of Arabia.

Serbia: We give our land to the Balkan League.

Sweden: With the war's end, we cut back on our military spending and budget. In the General Election, the Social Democratic party keeps control over the Riksdag, and the Prime Minister is replaced by a new liberal one. The Social Democrats continue the policies of industrialization, with Norrland becoming an important center for the wood and pulp industry.

Germany: Incorporates Austria, the Tyrol and Carniola into Germany. Most of the populace are extremely enthusiastic about being freed from the confines of the stagnant Hapsburgs, particularly as public works projects created by the German government to industrialize the new areas drastically improve the standard of living. A new German Mediterranean Fleet is created at Trieste, with new battleships laid down. Mining of uranium begins in Namibia in small amounts. The Social Democrats continue to plan to force the Kaiser's abdication.

France: We continue to support Brazil in its war with Chile. We ask all of the allies to sign the Treaty of Marseille and join the Global Corporation, and to support Brazil. We offer the city of Marseille to build a giant palace which will hold all meetings of the Global Corporation. Andre Thibault remains President, and is well liked for his treaty. As tensions rise in the Middle East, we remind both sides that the allies will side with the defender, and the aggressor will see sanctions, economic issues and foreign intervention. This policy of helping any defending member of the Global Corporation becomes known as the Thibault Doctrine. Because of these tensions, we station 500 soldiers and three ships on Socotra, which became ours according to the Treaty of Marseille. We continue to recover from the war (Tech/Econ)

Factories make new military weapons to keep up with technology of Europe. We allow immigrants into the nations that left Europe, because of the war. Our cities expand to fit the growing size of our population. Farming is very popular with the people of the midwest, while on the west and east coast it is very industrial. In the south it is both industrial and agricultural mixed together. In the Philippines many people grow tried of our rule, so we allow them to have their own elections for their ruler. Since many countries are coming to us about the war in South America, we tell them we do not want to be involved with your problems. After 94 years, we allow France to do what it wants with other western hemisphere nations breaking what the Monroe doctrine was all about. The President makes a bill for womens rights, but it does not go through with Congress.

President Carranza has promised to leave office in 1920, so that an incumbent-less election can be held. In the meantime, Mexico is staying neutral in all conflicts in order to stayout of another costly war. Mexico is, however, looking to buy weaponry for defensive purposes. In order to unite Mexico, Carranza has declared his rival General Alvaro Obregon leader of the military in order to further unite the nation. The economy is currently the number one concern of the government. (Infrastructre/Economy)

Zamal Ali Al-Sabhan is elevated to the status of Sultan, as all the Emirs and Sultans of the Arabian Peninsula are now residing in the court at Nejd. We encourage the caravan trade across Arabia. The Council of Senior Scholars in Riyadh, known as the Ulema, are made the chief advisers to the Sultan. Sunni Islam is proclaimed the official religion, and the Ibadi religion of Oman is suppressed. The Omani navy in Muscat is appropriated by the Sultan. Raids on Turkish outposts continue, and military presence increases on the desert near the Hejaz. Machine guns, gas masks and bayonets are purchased from the French. Marginal amounts of oil is exported to Germany. The Sultan denounces the actions of the Ottomans, and defies them to invade the holy people of Arabia. The court of the Emir continues to express his disdain for Turkish oppression. An alliance is extended to Greece and Romania. The nephew of the the Sultan is appointed Emir of Yemen. The Sultan offers hundreds of British engineers in Yemen to stay in the region and be employed by the royal court.

Thailand: Thailand continues building up its military and improves infrastructure. New ports also continue construction. Southern Burma and the parts of Malaya that was Thai before the Anglo-Siamese Treaty of 1909 are annexed and admitted as new provinces. The rest of Malaya are admitted as autonomous provinces, with them having their own regional government and their own monarch. Monarch Vajiravudh passes massive reforms, such as a constitution being created, along with a National Assembly and a Prime Minister position. Elections for a Prime Minister position will begin next year.

  • Japanese Diplomacy: We wish to establish greater ties between the Empire of Japan and the Kingdom of Thailand by requesting a free trade agreement with Thailand.
  • Thai Diplomacy: Monarch Vajiravudh agrees, and establishes a free trade agreement with Japan.

We continue banning opium in the country, establishing many rehabilitation centers. Mao continues working as a military and diplomatic figure while Chiang is appointed the governor of Guangzhou.

  • Chinese Diplomacy: We accept the Ottoman entry into the Asian Commonwealth.
  • Chinese Diplomacy: We agree to Japan's offer, but only if Japan relinquishes all leased territories in China.

Brazil: Brazil continues to improve its economy and infrastructure. Population continues to grow by adding 200,000 people every year. The population of Brazil now stands at 26 million people. Continue mass building of early fighters and bombers on military airports. Fewer schools, museums, colleges and more houses, hospitals and mining plants are built. The mining plants produces materials coal, iron, gold, copper and bronze, which later used as products from industries. Industry continues improving and few factories are built along in cities, creating jobs for people of Brazil. A few docks and churches are built. Artillery become more widely used in combat and some industries continues building a series of wartime artillery, which later added it to Brazilian Armed Forces. Meanwhile, few new trains are produced and one new railway line are opened in service. President Venceslau Brás continues to plan new reforms for Brazil and continues investing heavily in technology and science. Brazil continues its war with Chile and Uruguay, as Brazilian forces continues fighting against Chilean forces in Peru and Uruguayan forces in Uruguay.

Ottoman Empire: As tensions rise between the Nedj and Ottoman Empire, we stop the Mehmed project to fund the war effort so the train lines are stopped. We say to the public that we've fought in WW1 because Mehmed V thought that we get the Emirates but under the Treaty of Marseille we won't. The Turkish public begin protesting under Mehmed V rule and demand a new leader. Mehmed V is worried over his reign. The Ottoman Empire doesn't declare war on the Nedj. (Mil/tech)

'With the new trench warfare, some of our scientists consider adding a cannon to our armoured vehicle in order to gain the advantage in trench warfare, with what would be called a "Tank". 'We ask Argentina for military aid in the war (MOD RESPONSE NEEDED, ARGENTINA HAS NOT POSTED SINCE 1913.5). We declare that we will not recognize any French claims to the British colonies unless they stop giving economic aid to Brazil. (Mil/Economic turn)

  • [MOD RESPONSE, RNG]: Argentina declares war on Brazil.
  • France: We do not stop giving economic aid to Brazil (all that is is lower prices on goods and increased trade. Be happy we're not at war with you).

Sweden: Industrialization continues. Sweden's economy is improved thanks to the continent-wide post war boom. We continue to build railroads up north in order to modernize Norrland. Settlers are encouraged to move north to expand our mining and wood product industries.

Germany: Is concerned by growing tensions in South America, which both threaten its trade in the region and are contrary to its obligations under the Treaty of Marseilles. Accordingly, Germany decides to deploy an expeditionary force to protect its interests in the region. 50,000 troops, alongside a squadron of battleships. Diplomatic contacts are made with the Blanco rebels in Uruguay, who offer support now and extensive trade concessions after the war. A landing is successfully made with Blanco support at Rojas, and the German troops, joined by rebels who act as skirmishers, press for Montevideo.

1918.0[]

Canada and Persia sign the Treaty of Marseille, and it takes effect. The Global Corporation will hold its meetings in Marseille.

Nejd, Jabal Shammar and the Ottoman Empire all experience major rioting. And as the Treaty of Marseille is in effect, Nejd and Jabal Shammar occupy the Trucial States.

In the newly independent England, a major recession immediately occurs due to reparations, divisions of the treasury with Ireland, Scotland, and Wales, and bank failures as a result. Minor economic issues are seen worldwide, but especially in the British Isles and Hungary.

Norway: Due to the warnings, all plans to invade Denmark have been called off ... for now. The military size has reached its peak and cannot continue to be expanded. Instead, industry is improved. (Infrastructure/Economy Turn)

Thailand: Thailand continues building up its military and improves infrastructure. New ports also continue construction. Elections for a Prime Minister position begin, with results coming later this year.

Russia: Russia in enraged that the Treaty of Marseilles took effect without the approval of the Russian Empire. The Imperial Armed Forces continues to remain mobilised. The Tsar refuses to allow demobilisation. The air force is expanded and modernised further.

  • Royal News: We are sad to report that Tsar Nicholas II passed away today (March) after a freak accident at the Imperial Palace. Tsarevich Alexei Nikolaevich succeeds to the throne and is crowned Nicholas III. Due to his minority, Chairman of the Council of Ministers Nikolai Golitsyn is named Imperial Regent. Mr Golitsyn takes a more moderate approach to the punishment of Britain and begins demobilisation of the Armed Forces.

Denmark: With the threat of invasion from Norway called off for now, Thorvald Stauning has enforced a new law that a person has to enter the military for one year after they turn 18. Also we would like to talk with the USA in buying the Danish West Indies from us as we have no use for them. (Economy/Military)

France: In the wake of the economic decline, France improves its economy. France also tries to ensure working electical power to all houses, and radios and telegraphs become more widely used. We end conscription, and happily welcome allies to Marseille. We are expecting to finish construction of the Global Corporation Building in early 1919. With Germany sending an expeditionary force to South America, France also does the same, France sends a group of soldiers equivalent to about half of a regiment to fight in Uruguay. We also offer to sell Brazil weapons and military technologies. We build our first tank as a result of the Chilean use and build a cannon on them which will fire special grenades. Scientists begin experimentation with poisonous gases.

Mexico: Mexico’s economic revival under its new democratic government has been extremely successful. With the fighting over, all sides have worked towards industrializing Mexico. For the most part this has worked, as unemployment has declined significantly since the end of the war. Internal infrastructure projects have helped fuel the economic revival, and, with an emphasis on transportation, have now connected all of Mexico. A major worry is the anarchy brewing in some of Mexico’s Central American neighbors, former British colonies, who were left out of the Treaty of Marseilles. To quell the unrest, Mexican troops, under the command of General Obregon have been sent to annex British Honduras and bring it under Mexican control. British Honduras will enter Mexico as one of the states. Weary after years of war, the population has called for a strong army to protect Mexico’s border. This will include heavy artillery as well as the building of Mexico’s first tanks. (Economy/Military)

Canada: Having announced their independence during World War 1, Canada has seen its share of wars and decides to become isolated from European affairs. Having just announced independence Canada's economy is in a recession, so we seek trade with the USA and start building infrastructure all across our lands. (Economy/Infrastructure)

Sultanate of Nejd: Military and economy continue to improve. Zamal Ali Al-Sabhan is elevated to the status of Sultan, as all the Emirs and Sultans of the Arabian Peninsula are now residing in the court at Nejd. We encourage the caravan trade across Arabia. Books on engineering and infrastructure are imported from Spain and France. The military is greatly expanded by pooling the resources of vassalized Emirs and Sultans. The Sultan allies with the Young Turk Movement and begins funding their revolution against the Ottomans. The Sultan quashes the riots by bribing local Sheikhs to keep the trouble isolated.

Spain: Troops are sent to Spanish Burma and the capital of Nueva Castile is set up.

Republic of China: We improve our industry and military. More factories are built in Manchuria, Hubei, Hebei and the Yangtze River Delta. More farm collectives are built in agricultural states. We establish mandatory elementary schools all over the country, for children from six to 12 years of age. We continue banning opium in the country, establishing many rehabilitation centers. Mao writes his official book, On Guerrilla Warfare, and goes to the Beijing University as a Guest Professor. Chiang returns to Shanghai, and aims to be elected as the governor. We increase our influence, investments and control over the Indian states.

Empire of Japan: We improve our infrastructure and economy, widenening roads and cities while building more naval vessels and biplanes.

  • Korea: Infrastructure and economy are improved.

USA: With most of the country hooked up to electricity, most middle class citizens and rich citizens have light in their homes. The telegraph is popular with the rich and business people. The telephone is popular with the rich people of society. All classes have a radio in their homes. Cars are popular with middle and the rich class. Both Hawaii and Alaska become states making, the flag have an even 50 stars on it. Planes have become popular with the population for taveling for vacation.

Brazil: Brazil continues to improve its economy and infrastructure. Population continues to grow by adding 200,000 people every year. The population of Brazil now stands at 26.2 million people. The telephone/communications and banana industries continue to grow under a few large monopolies. A few docks and churches are built. Artillery becomes more widely used in combat and some industries continue building a series of wartime artillery, which later added it to Brazilian Armed Forces. Meanwhile, Brazilian bombers and fighters begins to bomb many Chilean air force and military bases in Peru.

Ottoman Empire: To my disappointment the Treaty of Marseille was passed so we couldn't have half of the Emirates. Therefore we cut all ties with France and send economic support to Chile and Uruguay. We send aid to the British Isles to help with the recession. In return for this help we ask Wales, Scotland, Ireland and Britain to have an allience with me called 'Turkish-British alliance'(MOD response needed). In Turkey we've got bigger problems as the Young Turks movement is fighting against us. Our military stands at 645,000 at the moment and we are putting an ad out to join the army. Mehmed V is frustrated about the situation. The Mehmed project is put on permanent hold. Most people are outraged by this decision. (Mil/Eco)

  • [MOD RESPONSE, COMMON SENSE]: Ireland Declines
  • [MOD RESPONSE, COMMON SENSE]: England Declines alliance but would like increased trade.
  • [MOD RESPONSE, RNG]: Wales Declines
  • [MOD RESPONSE, RNG]: Scotland Accepts.
  • French Dip: We follow the German lead, and we send troops to fight against the Ottomans. We do not, however, declare war, this is a military operation.

Chile: Together with Argentina, we plan an attack on Bolivia from Argentina to remove all aid to Brazil from South America. We demand that French troops withdraw from Uruguay or they will be at war with Chile. We ask the Ottoman Empire if they will aid us militarily should France refuse to withdraw from Uruguay. Our fighter planes, which are not as numerous after the air raids from Brazil, begin patrols of Chilean airspace. Finally, our scientists begin work on a prototype tank, scheduled for completion by 1919. (Mil/Eco turn)

Germany: Feels increasingly threatened by Ottoman hostility toward the Treaty of Marseille and refusal to accept it, as well as its interventionist stance in South America. Furthermore, with Nejd an increasingly important source of oil, German industry is concerned by the threats directed to that nation. As a result, Germany declares war on the Ottomans, following a vote in the Reichstag which decides in favour of war. 100,000 German troops, supported by the Mediterranean Fleet, lands in Gallipoli in preparation for the seizure of Istanbul. Germany calls on the rest of the Visegrad Pact, as well as Bulgaria and Greece, to help defeat the Ottomans and remove a threat to global and European stability.

  • Galicia and Bohemia: Assist in the war, deploying 50,000 troops.
  • Nejd: Mobilized their entire military to invade the Ottomans.
  • Ottoman Empire: If you stop your invasion of the Ottoman Empire I'll not support Chile in the South American war.
    • Chilean Diplomacy: Chile condemns the attack, pointing out that Germany has aided Brazil and taken an intervensionist stance itself in South America and that Germany just wants to save money on oil.
    • Germany: Responds that fulfilling obligations to allies, as Germany did in Brazil, or fighting a blatant war of aggression, as Chile has done and the Ottomans have supported, are wholly different.
    • [MOD RESPONSE, RNG]: Bulgaria joins the war.
    • [MOD RESPONSE, RNG]: Greece joins the war.

1918.5[]

The allies begin to conquer the southern arms of the Ottoman Empire, liberating Mecca and Medina. The allies also advance in Chile, but slower than before.

With England in depression, they decide to cut out half of their military funding. While this will likely get them out of their depression, they are now vulnerable.

An influenza pandemic begins to infect hundreds of thousands of people in Europe. It is also brought to South America and the Middle East by French and German troops, and all throughout colonial Africa.

Sweden: We continue to industrialize the north, sending our miners, builders and lumberjacks. We also send funding to build housing, roads and railroads up north. To combat the pandemic, we pay more attention and give funding to update old hospitals and build new ones.

Thailand: Thailand continues building up its military and improves infrastructure. New ports also continue construction. Elections for a Prime Minister are in, with Manopakorn Nititada winning and becoming the first Prime Minister of Thailand.

Germany: Continues to wage war on the Ottoman Empire, although influenza begins to take its toll on both the military and on civilians. In Germany, the economy slows as quarantine measures are taken and fear grows over the pandemic. The government mobilizes reserves to take aggressive action to combat the flu. In the Middle East, a combined Greco-German-Bulgarian force closes on Istanbul, with Ionia, Thrace and part of Anatolia having fallen, while German minesweepers clear the Bosporus in preparation for an assault on the capital. German troops also enjoy success in the Levant and Arabia. Many flee the pandemic to Namibia or German New Guinea. German troops take possession of the colony of British North Borneo, which was unmentioned in the Treaty of Marseille.

  • Galicia and Bohemia: Are also afflicted by the flu, although lower population density helps reduce this. The economy develops.

The Sultan allies with the Young Turk Movement and begins funding their revolution against the Ottomans. The nephew of the the Sultan is appointed Emir of Yemen. The Sultan offers hundreds of British engineers in Yemen to stay in the region and be employed by the royal court. The Sultan quashes the riots by bribing local Sheikhs to keep the trouble isolated. With the continuing success in the Hejaz, the Sultan grants Hussein ibn Ali sovereignty over the Holy Sites, while retaining control of the land. Meanwhile, the troops move north into the Ottoman Territories, with the intent of going as far as Damascus. While the influenza epidemic is devastating for the German and French outposts, it is barely felt by the people of the desert.

Denmark: Thorvald Stauning wins the 1918 Folk election after defeating Klaus Berntsen in the election held on September 27. Stauing first act as prime minster was to take aggressive act on the influenza that is effecting Europe as quarantine measures stops the border between Norway, Sweden. During this time we also build new hospitals to cope with the influenza. While in Iceland, the talk with the Danish prime minster is accepted with an independence referendum being held next year on April 18. (Infrastructure/Economy)

Mexico: Due to its increased investment in infrastructure during the Carranza Presidency, including the recent building of a national system of hospitals, Mexico has been able to contain the cases of Spanish Flu within its borders. The rebounding economy has not been stopped, and the unemployment rate is low with many workers beginning jobs in industrial factories. General Alvero Obregon’s occupation of British Honduras has been successful, as the population views Mexico as liberators from the oppression of anarchy. British Honduras is set to become a state in a years time. The Mexican population has become increasingly concerned by the U.S. puppet governments in Guatemala and Nicaragua, as well as a violent war in Costa Rica. Mexico, however, believes that any military or imperialist action in Latin America by a non-Latin American nation is an offensive military action aimed at Mexico. This is especially true for South American nations currently fighting for supremacy on that continent. (Technology/Military)

  • Germany offers Mexico a trade deal and assistance in industrialization.
  • Chilean Diplomacy: We ask Mexico for an alliance as we are opposed to the USA after abandoning the Monroe Doctrine when France invaded Uruguay, an ally of ours. The alliance is mainly aimed at protection against the USA in Latin America, but also to boost relations between the Spanish colonies. We also ask if they would help us against the Brazilians.
  • France would like to point out that Chile asked the US for the monroe doctrine to end, and I quote: "We ask the USA to change their Monroe Doctrine."

Spain: Building of Nueva Castile continues with supplies being brought to Spanish Burma. We advise the Ottoman Empire against taking military action against France. We ask the Empire of Japan and China for and alliance with Spain and the Spanish Protectorate of Myanmar. The Type I Castile and Type 2 Alfonso tanks are currently being developed. We close off all land borders and ports in response to the influenza pandemic. We also improve sanatation.

  • Empire of Japan: Agrees to an alliance. We also offer a trade deal to Spanish Burma.
  • Governor-General of the Spanish Protectorate of Myanmar: We agree to a trade deal.

Japanese Empire: Military and industry continue to be improved. To decrease the risk of a pandemic arriving on Japanese territories, we begin a thorough screening of immigrants from Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. A series of highways connecting the 4 main islands and Kora is planned. The army increases in size while more navy vessels, aircraft, and airships are made (Mil/infra

  • Korea: Infrastructure and economy are improved.

Brazil: Brazil continues to improve its economy and infrastructure. Population continues to grow by adding 200,000 people every year. The population of Brazil now stands at 26.4 million people. The telephone/communications and banana industries continue to grow under a few large monopolies. A few docks and churches are built. The Brazilian Navy continues building a series of armored destroyers, cruisers and cargo ships which destroyers later added to Brazilian Navy and cargo ships are for trade and for future tensions. Trade with various major European powers decides economic boom of Brazil and Brazil's largest exports are exotic fruits and largest imports are cars and steel. Artillery becomes more widely used in combat and some industries continues building a series of wartime artillery, which later added it to Brazilian Armed Forces. Meanwhile, few new trains are produced and one new railway line are opened in service. Finally, scientists tests the first ever built Brazilian tank, which later becomes useful in combat in 2 years. President Venceslau Brás continues to plan new reforms for Brazil and continues investing heavily in technology and science. Factories make new military weapons to keep up with technology of Europe. We allow immigrants into the nations that left Europe, because of the war. Our cities expand to fit the growing size of our population. Farming is very popular with the people of the mid west, while on the west and east coast it is very industrial. In the south it is both industrial and agricultural mixed together. Both Hawaii and Alaska become states making, the flag have an even 50 stars on it. Planes have continued to become popular with the population for traveling for vacation. With the influenza virus going around the world, we close our borders to anyone that is sick.

Chile: Outraged with the French essentially at war with us and the formation of a "Franco-German Empire" in the words of the Chilean PM, we recognize England as the controller of the British Isles and all their pre-war colonies. We continue work on our tanks, with prototypes almost created. Our fighter aircraft move into Brazil and attempt to shoot down all aircraft there. We ask for access to the Panama Canal for our military ships. (MOD RESPONSE NEEDED(I think)) We ask the English for an alliance. (Mil/Eco turn)

  • Ottoman Empire: Chile, if England accepts your alliance, me and Scotland are declaring war on England and Chile. England is not the ruler of the British Isle and their former empire. That's why we fought World war 1.

Brazil advances; The Ottoman Empire falls to the allies. They may now draw up the Middle East.

In England, a man named Ian Smith, along with a group of his many supporters who are all armed, attempt a coup. Due to decreased military strength, the army is unable to stop the coup, and public support shifts to Ian Smith's nationalists (I would say Fascists, but that's an Italian word).

More restrictions on travel between Spanish territories and places infected with the influenza are put up. Our military grows and the first naval tactical cruisers are dispatched in Spanish Burma and we ask Japan for co-development of smaller patrol tanks and light combat monoplanes.
    • Empire of Japan: We agree

  • Brazil: Brazil continues to improve its economy and infrastructure. Population continues to grow by adding 200,000 people every year. The population of Brazil now stands at 26.4 million people. With outbreak of influenza, 200,000 Brazilians dies and over 1 million people get sicked by influenza. It might be over in one year with help of USA-imported Penicillin pills against influenza and most sicked Brazilians becomes healthy again. Continue mass building of early fighters and bombers on military airports. Fewer schools, museums, colleges and more houses, hospitals and mining plants are built. The mining plants produces materials coal, iron, gold, copper and bronze, which later used as products from industries. The construction of a series of highways from the northern tip of Honshu to Shikoku and Kyushu, as well as a rail line connecting the four major islands continues to be done. In the meantime, factories are built in the vicinites of major cities to decrease reliance on foreign imports of industrial output. Wishing to industrialize the entire country, Sapporo in Hokkaido and multiple cities in Hokkaido and Shikoku see modernization. The military continues to be built up, seeing the massive shift of world militaries to tank usage, Japan does the same, and five experimental tanks are made. Artillery and mortar pieces are made. The Air Force, consisting of 300 aircraft and 10 airships continues to expand, while the Navy produces more submarines and destroyers, and begins patrolling the Senkaku Islands. Our cities expand to fit the growing size of our population. Farming is very popular with the people of the mid west, while on the west and east coast it is very industrial. In the south it is both industrial and agricultural mixed together. Planes have continued to become popular with the population for traveling for vacation. With the influenza virus continuing around the world, we close our borders to anyone that is sick. We sell penicillin to nations that need it at a high price. Brazil is one of the first nations to receive the drug. With the tragedy that happens in England, we send military aid to anyone that is against the nationalists.

Ottoman Empire: the nation is dead, Mehmed VI and his nephew escape.

Australia: We continue our trading with Japan. We aply to be part of Global cooperation and therefore begin sending aid to Brazil. We begin our modernisation, starting to build high speed railways from Melebourn to Brisbane and Sydney to Pearth. We begin building thousands of factories to sell stuf to the allies. We plan to become the supermarket of the world and begin the 'Australian Industrial Revaluation'. We also propose a 'Free trade alliance' with all the allies. Elections will be carried out in 1922 for president. We also check all ships coming in from Europe, South America and the Middle East. (Infa/mil)

France: WIth the influenza rates being extremely high, we begin producing penicilin, though our production is currently slow. We ask Nejd, Germany, Jabal Shammar, Bulgaria, and Greece to join us at a convention in Jaffa, Palestine to determine how we will divide up the Middle East. Also, as we are scared of the nationalist regime in England, we will make a proposal to the Global Cooperation regarding England, which we hope for the allies to sign. (Tech/Econ)

Chile: We send a desperate appeal for aid to all nations in the Americas in the current war, offering land to Latin American nations and recognition for Canada. (MOD RESPONSE NEEDED) The tank is rushed through completion and mass-produced before testing even begins, with the hope that everything is OK with them. We retreat from Chile and begin bombings of Brazil with our weakened air force.  The Communists and Pacifists are gaining power along with, essentially, Fascists. We offer 10% of our economy per year to France and Germany each if they stop aiding Brazil, which we point out will be useful with the Global Recession. (Mil/Eco turn)

  • [MOD RESPONSE, COMMON SENSE]: Canada Declines.

Sweden: Development of the northern region continues.

Mexico upgrades its technology and economy.

1919.5[]

Worldwide, the pandemic begins to stop, with millions dead as a result. Also, the decline from the recession stops, but leaves a lasting effect on the economy.

After several far right politicians try to launch copycat coups to Ian Smith's, and only two gain enough public support: Chile and Portugal. Luis-Fernando Perez, a Fascist, takes power in a coup in Chile, and Octavio Fonseca is elected in Portugal.

Thailand: Thailand continues building up its military and improves infrastructure. New ports also continue construction.

Norway: Nothing really happens except the infrastucture continues to develop. (Infrastructure/Economy Turn)

France: France asks Argentina for peace in which they agree to have no land changes from before the war. We also ask Bolivia and Brazil to help us re-establish a peaceful democracy in Chile, trying to reach Santiago to defeat Perez. We ask for the allies to place sanctions on all Fascist countries (Portugal, England, Chile) and deny them access to al major water passages (Strait of Gibraltar, Suez Canal, Panama Canal, Bosporus Strait). We ask the allies to make proposals to the Treaty of Jaffa. Finally, we propose a World Cup of football which we hope to be held in 1922 (I'll make a world cup page).

  • We accept the Chilean offer of 10% of their economy to back out of the war. France also declares that, like Germany, it will no longer care about South American politics unless it involves French Guiana.

Glorious Chilean Empire: The new Fascists order Total War, with the complete mobilization of all troops. Meanwhile, we begin employing a Scorched Earth Strategy and the Fabian Strategy. We support the Fascists in Portugal, though we refuse to ally with them after unless they cut all ties with thier former colony. We also seek an alliance with England for a second time, this time with Fascists in power in both countries. (Mod Response Needed). We also begin launching attacks on Brazilians with our untested tanks. (Mil/Tech turn)

  • [MOD RESPONSE, RNG]: England accepts an alliance involving all future conflicts, but not Brazil.
  • [MOD RESPONSE, RNG]: Portugal cuts all ties with Brazil.

Denmark: Nothing really happens in this turn as the bridge between the main part of Denmark and Fyn is completed in this year opening new trade roots by road for the first time.

Machine guns, gas masks and bayonets are purchased from the French. Marginal amounts of oil is exported to Germany. Hussein ibn Ali, the Sharrif of Mecca, is given sovereignty over the Holy Sites in Mecca and Jerusalem, while the Sultan retains control of the land. Hussein ibn Ali is proclaimed the rightful Caliph by the council of senior scholars, while the Sultan continues to maintain control over the lands south of the Tigris River.

Mao continues teaching in the Beijing University. Chiang is appointed the governor of Zhejiang. We increase our influence, investments and control over the Indian states. We start building airfields and ports. The Chinese Navy now contains 6 dreadnoughts and 3 major fleets. More ship factories has been built and our iron and textile production rivals even some European Powers.

Brazil: Brazil continues to improve its economy and infrastructure. Population continues to grow by adding 200,000 people every year. The population of Brazil now stands at 26.6 million people. Continue mass building of early fighters, bombers and now tanks (look like this as used in combat) on military factories. Fewer schools, museums, colleges and more houses, hospitals and mining plants are built. The mining plants produces materials coal, iron, gold, copper and bronze, which later used as products from industries. Industry continues improving and few factories are built along in cities, creating jobs for people of Brazil. President Delfim Moreira continues to plan new reforms for Brazil and continues investing heavily in technology and science. Brazil continues its war with Chile, Uruguay and Argentina, as Brazilian forces continues fighting against Chilean forces in Chile and Argentine forces in Argentina. Currently, Brazil occupied all of Uruguay, all of Chilean occupied territories and even northern Chile. Meanwhile, Brazilian bombers and fighters continues to bomb many Chilean and Argentine air force and military bases in Chile and Argentina. Anti-aircraft gun are built in military bases around Brazil to shot down Chilean warplanes as trying to bomb their bases.

Australia: The Australian Industrial Revalution continues, anybody could invent something and get a patent for it. The cities begin to expand as some slums are created. The government is determined to build houses for every person working in the factories and make it affordable. 25% of the Perth to Sydeny train line is completed meanwhile 50% of the Melebourn to Brisbane line is completed. Sydney port is re-constructed to hold many factories, a new train station, a new cricket ground, space for a potential football stadium and a new skyscraper which will hold the Free Trade Allience. Similar plans are made for Melebourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. A new canal is planed to connect Canberra with the sea. It will start construction in the middle of 1920. We politely remind the allies to sign the Free Trade Alliance. Around about a third of all the factories has been constructed. We welcome any immigration from any country if there under 50, hasn't Brocken the law and is hard working.(Tech/Infa)

Empire of Japan: We issue a trade embargo against England, Chile, and Portugal. Further industrialization of Japan leads to the reduction of manual labor in certain jobs, most notably in the factories. However, this prompts the government to spend more of the GNP into the Infrastructure of Japan, and thus, massive collectives of homes are built on the outskirts of cities. The port of Tokyo expands in size to accommodate more shipments of imports while new ports are built in Shikoku and Hokkaido to increase trading capabilities with the Russian Empire and the Republic of China. The pan-Japanese railway already connects the island of Hokkaido to Kyushu all the way to Tokyo, while Shikoku is connected to Kyushu by means of bridges. The Japanese Navy, currently possessing 10 dreadnoughts, and a series of smaller craft continues to expand as emphasis on submarine production is stated. The Army successfully tests out their new tanks, impressed with the combination of the cavalry's mobility and the cannon's firepower, and continues to produce them. The Air force, boasting 25 combat and 40 smaller, recon airships, and hundreds of aircraft, continues to be built (Mil/Infra) We wish to purchase French Indochina from France (obviously) at their desired price

  • Union of Japanese Oceania: The territories of former British New Guinea, British Oceania, and New Zealand are merged into one political entity to ease administration of the area. A new capital city in northern New Zealand named Kusanagi begins to be constructed. Seeing the negligence of infrastructure on the area, several Japanese entrepreneurs, ordered to help industrialize the islands go there. An 'Asianization' of Oceania starts to take place, while the economy improves.(Infra/Eco)
  • Korea: Infrastructure and economy are improved

USA: With most of the country hooked up to electricity, most middle class citizens and rich citizens have light in their homes. The telegraph is popular with the rich and business people. The telephone is popular with the rich people of society. All classes have a radio in their homes. Cars are popular with middle and the rich class. Brazil is one of the first nations to receive the drug. With the tragedy that happens in England, we continue to send military aid to anyone that is against the nationalists.

Union of Iberia/Spain: We consolidate our Caribbean Territories into the Spanish Caribbean Union. The Spanish Protectorate of Myanmar is officially renamed the Dominion of Myanmar. The Type I and II tanks are put into production and shipped out to Spanish territories.Using tanks and biplanes as well as infantry and naval forces, we attack across the border into Portugal. We announce this attack over a captured Portuguese radio station and call up all anti-Fascist Portuguese to join against the Fascist government. We also announce that Portugal now belongs to Spain and our country will be renamed the Union of Iberia.

Germany deploys 50,000 troops to the East Indies, backed by two squadrons of the High Seas Fleet, to enforce its claim over the entirety of British Borneo and over its New Guinean territories, given rising tensions there. Industrialization and infrastructure improvement continue, while immigration increases to make up population losses from the influenza pandemic. With German colonies becoming increasingly expensive to run, the government looks to consolidate them. German control or free access to most of the world's major trade routes advantages its industrial goods, increasing German economic influence. Naval bases on Imbros, Cyprus and Tenedos are set up this year, while Istanbul becomes a German zone of influence. Germany offers Tanzania to the Netherlands in exchange for Dutch Borneo. (Mod Response)

  • Galicia and Bohemia continue to industrialize.
  • [MOD RESPONSE]: The Dutch already said they're not selling any part of the East Indies.

Mexico upgrades its military and infrastructure.

In Russia, a revolution occurs in Petrograd, forcing the Tsar to abdicate and a Provisional Government of a democracy to be put in place. Democratic, Fascist, and Communist factions all begin to attempt to take power, but Communists seem weak with Lenin still in exile.

The Treaty of Jaffa takes effect. Nejd, Jabal Shammar, and parts of the former Ottoman Empire combine to form Arabia, while Germany takes control of the Bosporus.

With disputes between Japan and Germany over British Borneo, British Borneo declares independence as the United Malayan Kingdom of Sabah, Brunei, and Sarawak.

USA: With most of the country hooked up to electricity, most middle class citizens and rich citizens have light in their homes. The telegraph is popular with the rich and business people. The telephone is popular with the rich people of society. All classes have a radio in their homes. Cars are popular with middle and the rich class. In the south it is both industrial and agricultural mixed together. Planes have continued to become popular with the population for traveling for vacation. The Influenza virus is over. We send ships and troops to destroy the Fascists officials and troops. We tell Spain to only kill the Fascist government officials and troops and to set up Portugal as a democratic state.

  • France warns the United States about involvement in Europe.

Thailand: Thailand continues building up its military and improves infrastructure. New ports also continue construction.

Denmark: Denmark starts to try and connect all of the houses with electricity with the first power plant building currently being built in Copenhagen. A building plan is also in use with a connection between Fyn and Sjaelland being planned up while using the island in the middle called Sprogo. We also agree with the independence of Iceland after they voted yes by about 10%. (Economy/Infrastructure)

Union of Iberia/Spain: The army and heavy artillery continues to push into Portugal. We start night bombings of Portuguese military outposts and airfields. The air force focuses on patrols and dive bombings of enemy military positions, while the navy attacks from the Strait of Gibraltar.

Mexico: Mexico holds its elections with results to come later this year. The leading candidate is General Alvero Obregon, and sitting President Venustiano Carranza has promised to retire. British Honduras has officially become a state, with its capital in Belmopan. Mexico stayed neutral in the South American conflict, but requests a military and trade alliance with Brazil to ensure peace and stability in the region. Mexico also accepts Germany's offer of a trade deal in order to help develop its growing economy. Mexico is increasingly concerned about the Estrada Cabrera regime in Guatemala. The population does not view him as a good ruler, but Mexico believes a power void in his place would be catastrophic for the region. We therefore will maintain a peacekeeping force on our border to ensure no violence spills over into Mexico. We also offer an alliance to Cuba. (Military/ Infrastructure)

  • [MOD RESPONSE, RNG]: Cuba Declines

Kingdom of Arabia: Military and economy continue to improve. Sultan Zamal Ali Al-Sabhan entertains the Emirs and Sultans of the Middle East at the palace in Damascus, where the capital has been moved. We encourage the caravan trade across Arabia, but look to new economies of exporting oil and other resources. Books on engineering and infrastructure are imported from Spain and France. The military is greatly expanded and modernized, primarily by buying surplus equipment from Spain and France. The Omani navy in Muscat is also modernized using employed British engineers. The cities of Damascus, Riyadh and Muscat begin a massive restructuring to model them after European cities. Airplanes and railroads begin to be designed as well. Caliph Hussein ibn Ali administrates over the global religion of Islam from the Holy City of Mecca, allong with the Ulema acting as his advisers. • France: France asks Arabia for a trade deal, mainly focusing on buying oil from Arabia.

Republic of China: We improve our industry and military. More factories are built in Manchuria, Hubei, Hebei and the Yangtze River Delta. More farm collectives are built in agricultural states. We establish mandatory elementary schools all over the country, for children from six to 12 years of age. The mining plants produces materials coal, iron, gold, copper and bronze, which later used as products from industries. Industry continues improving and few factories are built along in cities, creating jobs for people of Brazil. Brazil finishes its war with Cono Sur and fully occupied Chile and Argentina. As Brazil becomes hegemon in South America, the Brazilian government hosted the Treaty of São Paulo between victories nations of Brazil and Bolivia, and defeated nations of Chile and Argentina, held in São Paulo, Brazil. Under the treaty, Brazil annexes Peru (admitted into Hispanican Region), some of northern parts of Chile (admitted into Hispanican Region), Uruguay and northeastern part of Argentina (admitted into Brazilian Region), while Bolivia annexes northern part of Argentina. Brazil also allows Brazilian soldiers and tanks to station these in newly annexed areas of Brazil.

Germany continues to expand its trade connections globally, particularly into the Middle East and Central Europe. Germany grows concerned over American intervention in Europe, and announces that if the US can have pretensions toward a "Monroe Doctrine", then it should adopt this principle of non-interference in respect to its relations with Europe. The rise of Fascism is unnerving for Social-Democratic dominated Germany, leading Germany to consider action against it. With Portugal heavily engaged in Europe, Germany invades Portuguese Angola to prevent Fascism from spreading into Africa.Germany requests to purchase Botswana from France, offering Tanzania or Cameroon in exchange if it so wishes. It also asks for trade deals with Kurdistan, Mesopotamia and Turkey (Mod Response)

  • [MOD RESPONSE, RNG]: Kurdistan Accepts

  • [MOD RESPONSE, RNG]: Mesopotamia Accepts
  • France: We accept the exchange of Botswana for Cameroon.

Empire of Japan: We propose to buy French Indochina from...France for a sum to be decided by the French government. In the meantime, we remind the United States to respect the affairs of Europe, as most of the world has respected the Monroe Doctrine. The Japanese Empire breaks all ties with Fascist countries, and bans intellectuals from said countries on Japanese soil to prevent the spread of their ideologies. Seeing the sudden collapse of order in Russia, we position our navy near Sakhalin and the Far East, while runways are built in northern Hokkaido. The infrastructure of Japan improves, with a greater percentage of the GNP spent on the construction of factories, ports, and rail lines. The Military, already the best in Asia, also sees more improvement. The construction of tanks and weapons for the army, alongside artillery and mortar pieces continue. The navy sees the production of more dreadnoughts and submarines, while the air force expands into 30 Airships and 600 aircraft. (Infra/eco)

  • France: In exchange for French Indochina, we ask for 10 million dollars, a trade agreement, and retension of naval bases at Phu Quoc and Vung Tau.

Glorious Chilean Empire: Chile surrenders to Brazil, losing Peru and their land in the North. With the new Brazilian hegemony over South American nations, we send a message to all other South American nations: Join the coalition or become a satellite of Brazil. Empire of Japan:  In the meantime, we remind the United States to respect the affairs of Europe, as most of the world has respected the Monroe Doctrine. Australia: The Australian Revolution continues. The 'first generation' of factories has been built, they will still build factories but not as many. With cheap oil from Arabia, the Revolution becomes quicker. 75% of the Perth to Sydney train line is finished. 25% of the new Sydney port is finished, the new train station is finished. Houses continue building, so is schools, university's and hospitals. A new airport is being built in Sydney where the football stadium and the FTA building was going to be. The Melbourne to Brisbane train line begins expand so it goes all the way up to Darwin, this construction will take 2 years. The Australian economy is booming. Mexico: The results of the Mexican elections are in, and the victor is General Alvero Obregon who was formerly in charge of the military. Obregon is extremely military minded, as has ordered an invasion Cuba after a series of diplomatic insults, as well as to protect it from American Imperial aggression. The Mexican military currently includes a large number of tanks as well as heavy artillery and military aircraft. The Mexican army includes 400,000 men, many of whom have military experience from fighting in the Mexican Revolution. At home, Mexico has an increased number of industrial factories, partially due to its trade alliance with Germany. Since Mexico is currently allied with Brazil, Mexico asks for alliances with France, Germany and the other Allied Powers. (Military/ Technology)

  • France accepts the alliance, and asks Mexico to apply for the Global Cooperation.

The Olympics close in Prague, with France, Denmark, and Germany the biggest winners.

Thailand: Thailand continues building up its military and improves infrastructure. New ports finish construction.

Italy- Not much unusual things happen. Politicians watch the events north with concern. They worry events will spread here. (Is Italy fascist? I need to surf through archives a bit to look for news on Italy) Mil and eco turn

  • Italy is not Fascist. It is part of the allies (check the Global Cooperation and Treaty of Marseille pages), and is mainly allied with Spain, France, and Germany in Europe.
  • ok just checkin.

Union of Iberia/Spain: With Lisbon about to fall, we officially annex Portugal and all its colonies, excluding Mozambique and Angola, which will go to France and Germany, respectively.

Italy Dip: We applaud the Spanish for their victory against the Fascists of Portugal.

Republic of Malta: After finally starting to recover from the economic recession caused by the fall of Malta's (until recently) mother country, England, Malta formally declares independence from England, and requests to be recognized as its own country. Malta also finishes up the Valletian railway, and requests a Defensive Pact with Spain, Italy, and France. Those that agree to the Pact will be given basing rights in the Maltan Grand Harbor. Malta also requests a trade agreement with any countries that accept. We also begin construction of factories, and request Australia's advice for building infrastructure up quickly. Finally, we declare that Malta's hospitals (which are historically second to only the USA in technology) are open to those that require it, for a reasonable price. (Infra/Tech)

  • Italia dip- We wanted to invade you. whoops. i guess I can recognize you and such, but I'm not a major power in the allies, and I have no idea what the others would want. If they want to invade, I call dibs on malta ownership. i don't think they would though. We have ships though. lots of them
  • Maltan Dip- I can understand that, however I wish to remind you that Malta has stood against superior invading armies and still triumphed due to our huge coastal defenses, which includes our coastal batteries and our two mine-layers, as well as what used to be six British dreadnoughts with three destroyers. We do not have conquest in mind, however, as any of you could squish our military if we assaulted anything.
  • Union of Iberia: We recognize the Republic of Malta.
  • Italia dip- we OFFICIALLY recognize malta. we accept the defensive pact too

Our Foreign Minister, Theodore Paquet, creates his Paquet Doctrine, saying that France will not tolerate any American involvement in European conflicts, even if it is on France's side. We will make a proposal accordingly to the Global Cooperation. In order to further enforce this, we raise tariffs on goods from America, and lower tariffs on goods from allies. As Russia begins to fall into Civil War, we send arms to the Democrats (and Communists) and will vote to remove them from the Global Cooperation if the Fascists win.

  • Italia dip- To clarify, our peoples are ambitious. that's why we wanted to attack Malta. however, now due to recent events, it is now not in our interest to invade Malta. We do not support your exclusion of the USA from Europe's affairs
  • France reminds Italy that the United States stayed neutral in WWI and is now calling Spain, an ally, their enemy. Spain had the right to invade Portugal because of the threat of Fascism. Finally, the US undid the Monroe Doctrine in South America, so that they could get involved in European politics.
  • Italy reminds you that the USA has a right to occasionally venture into european affairs. We do not think they are right, we just say that USA can say what it wants. It doesn't hurt us much, so it is acceptable. When they start making threats to attack, that is when this can be acceptable.

USA: With most of the country hooked up to electricity, most middle class citizens and rich citizens have light in their homes. The telegraph is popular with the rich and business people. The telephone is popular with the rich people of society. All classes have a radio in their homes. Cars are popular with middle and the rich class. James M Cox is sworn in as the 29th President of the US. We tell Spain that the US does not like you taking over Portugal. The military takes over the Azores islands and sets up bases on the islands. Spain is now an enemy of the US. The polygraph is invented.

  • France condemns the USA for taking over the Azores. They were not rightfully theirs, while Spain invaded Portugal because of the growing threat of Fascism.

Republic of China: We improve our industry and military. More factories are built in Manchuria, Hubei, Hebei and the Yangtze River Delta. More farm collectives are built in agricultural states. We establish mandatory middle schools all over the country, for children from 12 to 15 years of age. We continue banning opium in the country, establishing many rehabilitation centers. Chen and Li travels to Shanghai for the first meeting of the Chinese Communist Party, where Mao acts as the main secretary. However, due to a slight error in travel arrangement, they had to establish the CCP on a tourist boat in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province. After the assembly, Mao travels to Hunan, his home province and starts working towards being the governor of Hunan. Chiang continues his work in Zhejiang. Japan also begins to bridge the gap between the mainland and Korea, constructing a seris of bridges to connect the colony to her colonizer. Factories are built further north while the rail lines continue to be expanded. We create more tanks, seeing the improvement in combat they are capable of, while our soldiers increase to 600,000. The navy performs patrols of the Senkaku Islands and occasionally Japanese Oceania, while the Air Force sees more funding, with advanced monoplanes entering service and more airships fill the skies. (Mil/Infra)

  • Korea: With Korea effectively on the same level as Japan in terms of industrial development, Korea starts improving the literacy of the country, with the University of Seoul, and dozens of colleges, and elementary schools opening across the country. Top Japanese professors and teaching personnel are sent to Korea to share their knowledge. With the construction of schools and more facilities on the way, this prompts a population boom, with most of the new people arriving from the mainland. This spurs the construction of additional farms and pastures to support the growing populace. (Tech/eco)
  • Union of Japanese Oceania: Propaganda posters, encouraging the natives to embrace their new colonizers are printed, while Oceania is given a representative to the government. In addition, the Japanese now make up 8% of the local population, and are now the majority in the Pacific Islands, but still relatively unnoticeable in New Guinea and New Zealand. The plan of building the bridge between Fyn and Sjallend is in progress as the plans have been accepted. We also start to build a railway which will go from Copenhagen to Slagelse with Stage 1 going to take three years as we aid Cuba by sending Economic support. But we are not sending any military help as we need to improve our own borders (Military/Infrastructure)

Mexico's economy has continued to improve as a result of the deal we have with Germany to improve our infrastructure and factories. Throughout the country, especially in the central region, people who lost everything in the revolution are going back to work and rebuilding their homes. On the military front, Mexico's successful initial landing in Cuba will be followed up by a continued assault, this time with French backing. Mexico recognizes the Republic of Malta as a new nation. Mexico is also appalled by the moves of the United States and condemns their military takeover of the Azores. In the state of British Honduras the economy is doing well, and the population is no longer fearful of the events in our neighboring countries, as the revolts have ended. Mexico offers alliances to Nicaragua and Guatemala (MOD response needed) to ensure peace and stability in the region. (Military and Technology)

The Empire of Japan improves its economy and military, taking on a more capitalistic economy fueled by a mercantilist policy. With all of Honshu lit up by electricity, Hokkaido and Kyushu begin to see more power plants built there to further increase the economic capabilities of Japan. Farms are built to sustain the population and exports continue to rise. The IJNS Hosho is halfway complete, with 7 torpedo bombers and 7 monoplanes aboard it. Dreadnoughts, armored cruisers, and destroyers are built while the Army expands to 750,000 men, and the air force to 70 airships and 700 aircraft. (Mil/Eco)

A series of trans-island trading routes are made to increase economic activity and the transportation of supplies. The ports are enlarged.(eco/infra)
  • Indochina: We give French nationals a chance to return home, free of charge. Explorers witness the natural resources buried in the region, and immediately call for their harvesting and extraction. The Trans-Southeast-Asian railway begins to be constructed (eco/infra)

Italia- We free our African colonies as vassals, puppets, and protectorates to ease the burden on Italy. The following are freed: Libya, Sudan, Egypt, Eritrea, and the Protectorate of Somaliland. Italy retains direct control over the Suez peninsula. We send spies to the USA (here's the jar of annoyance and piss you ordered, France) to generally undermine support to the US government (SECRET) We offer for Ethiopia to join the Allies and/or become a protectorate. (mod response needed) this is a mil and tech turn

  • Libya- this nation is a puppet of Italy. eco and infra turn
  • Egypt- this is vassal of italy. eco and infra turn
    • Sudan- this is a protectorate of Egypt. eco and infra turn
  • Eritrea- vassal of italy. eco and infra
  • Somaliland-protectorate of italy. eco and infra
  • [MOD RESPONSE, RNG]: Ethiopia agrees to an alliance, and will apply for the Global Cooperation.
  • France asks Italy to shut off American access to the Suez Canal. No need for spies (if it's secret, it has no effect).

Australia: The Australian industrial revolution continues. More schools, universities, hospitals and homes are built. Every person in Australia now expected to know either Japanese or French, or they go for teaching at a nearest school. Australia sends the best military general to lead the democrats in the Russian Civil war, we also send economic aid and 10,000 troops to help the rebels in Russia. We call all the allies to do the same. We also send economic aid to put down the Fascists in India. The reconstruction of Sydney poor is more than half done and will be the BIGGEST in the world. High speed railways continue construction. The economy continue to boom. Immigration continues from Oceana, Middle East, Africa, India and Europe. We offer France to sell Sri Lanka and all other Indian Ocean possessions to Australia for a good healthy prise. We say to the U.S. to keep to there side of the Pacific and don't get involved in Oceana or Russian or European affairs. We ask Japan wealthier they could build a train line connecting Japanese Indonesia to Brisbane (via the Torres Straits). We remind the Indian States (except the Fascist one), France, Japan, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Holland, Spain, Denmark, Canada and Pakistan to sign the International World Cricket League. (Eco/Infra)

  • France sadly cannot accept a sale of Ceylon, because it is vital for our trade with Asia now that we no longer have Indochina. Also, we made the cricket league.

France: France will send Mexico engineers and officers to install and teach how to use new technology. We send troops to Russia to stop the Fascists. We send economic aid to the Dravidians, and trade with them from Ceylon. We tell the United States to back off from the Azores, or risk the possibility of war. We try to improve our military, gearing up for the war, and also improve our infrastructure. We make public schools more accessible. We prepare France for the World Cup. (Mili/Infra)

Glorious Chilean Empire: Despite Argentina refusing to merge with Chile, we are still allied. We continue to support Fascist rebels in other South American countries, hoping for civil war to break out soon. We begin to support rebels in Brazil, though we are discrete so that the Brazilians do not become enraged with us. We also support the Fascists in Russia, hoping that they win their civil war. We ask the USA for an alliance if they declare war on any member of the Global Cooperation. (Eco/Inf turn)

Italy Dip: Don't you dare try to ally with them! Denmark Dip: Our alliance with you is over for supporting Fascists in Russia.

Norway: In light of the recent Fascist revolutions, Norway attempts to not to make too much controversial moves across the world. Instead, infrastructure continues to be built, and some slight advances. (Infrastructure/Technology Turn)

Denmark: With the recent Fascist revolutions continuing, we declares that if Fascist revolutions happens in Denmark, we would shoot it down before it disturbs the country all together. We also build up our military and economy.

  • Germany asks Denmark, Norway and Sweden (mod response for Sweden) to join a joint intervention against the Russian Fascists.
