The United States presidential election of 1924 was the 35th quadrennial United States presidential election, held on Tuesday, November 2, 1924. Incumbent President Charles Evans Hughes was re-nominated by the Republican Party, while his former rival in the previous election, Senator Robert M. La Follette, was re-nominated by the Progressive Party. The Liberal Party nominated former Representative John W. Davis as its candidate.
