1950

Wessex - Frederick I dies. He is succeeded by Henry X.

1951

Finland - Eric IV dies. His daughter Sofi becomes queen.

1958

Britannia - Orkney and Man hold plebiscites for the islands on their disputed maritime border. Skye chooses to remain with Orkney whilst Canna goes to Man.

1960s

1961

Asia - China and Japan begin the Great Eastern War. It will prove to be the bloodiest war of the 20th century.

1962

Álengiamark - Wampanoagmark fylke is created out of Sudervik to attempt to give the Wampanoags more autonomy and defuse their revolutionary zeal.

1967

Asia - Negotiators forge an uneasy, but so far permanent, ceasefire ending the Great Eastern War between China and Japan.

Lingit Aani - Gold deposits are discovered in the far North of Lingit Aani. News of the find sparks a movement of people northward from the Leifian states to the south, and rumblings from Japan to the West.
