The location of Cuba on a globe
The Bay of Pigs invasion launched by the CIA and Kennedy administration was an invasion of Cuba which sought to overthrow the Communist dictator of Cuba, Fidel Castro. The Invasion was a failure from the start. John F Kennedy would later say "How could I have been so stupid, to let them go ahead".
