The 1992 Presidential Election was the 52nd quadrennial presidential election, held on November 3, 1992.
Democratic Candidate Michael Dukakis, who had been serving as the Incumbent President since 1989, was defeated by Republican Candidate George H. W. Bush, who served as the 46th Vice-President from 1981-1989 under President Ronald Reagan and as the Republican Candidate in the 1988 Presidential Election.
Bush won the Electoral Vote with a EV Count of 493-45-0 and won the Popular Vote Margin with Bush having secured 44.9 Million Votes while Dukakis secured 39.1 Million Votes and Reform Candidate Ross Perot secured 19.7 Million Votes.
