The 2011 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championships was the 67th edition of the Ice Hockey World Championships hosted by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). It took place in 2011 in Moscow and Leningrad, Soviet Union. The Soviet Union was the defending champions.

Finland and Sweden met in the Gold Medal Game for the first time since 1998. Finland defeated Sweden 4–1 and became world champions for the first time since the 1995 tournament, and for only the second time in history. Czechoslovakia defeated the Soviet Union 7–4 for the bronze medal.
