The 2016 Confederate States presidential election was the 9th Sexennial presidential election since the nation was reestablished following the American War and was held on November 2, 2016. The Readjuster ticket of Senator Marco Rubio of Cuba would defeat Booth nominee of Vice President Rick Perry of Texas, Senator Bill Nelson of Florida, and Communist nominee Party Chairmen Raoul Castro of Cuba. Marco Rubio would become the 27th President of Confederacy and the first Hispanic president.
