The 2018 Polish-Lithuanian Snap Elections were called after the 2017 motion of no confidence against Beata Szydło's government.
The Kingdom's Electoral Committee (PLKW) called for elections on 21 February 2018. The electoral coalitions formed and presented their candidates in the fall of 2017.
After a long electoral battle, the liberal coalition Civic Coalition (KO) won the elections with 58.04% of the suffrages. The right-wing United Right (ZP) coalition went second with 29,56% of the votes.
Rafał Trzaskowski the liberal nominee, was appointed Prime Minister by King Mark I on March 2, 2018.
