The 2022-23 Middle Eastern War is an ongoing conflict being fought between Iran, Iraq, Kurdistan and Lebanon against a coalition of Saudi Arabia, the United States, Turkey, Syria, Kuwait and Levant.

Prior to the outbreak of war, a major political crisis had been going on since April 2022 after an Iranian battleship fired at Saudi frigate Makkah. Despite attempts to negotiate a peace agreement, Iran and Iraq ultimately declared war on Saudi Arabia and its allies on 22 August. Iraq launched an invasion of Kuwait for the first time since 1990, while Iran and Iraq jointly launched a front in eastern Turkey as they collaborated with the unrecognised Kurdish People's Republic. A major blockade of Iran by the Saudi and American navies has been conducted. On 2 September, Lebanon joined the conflict and launched an invasion of Levant.

The attacking countries' stance in the conflict have faced condemned by a majority of the international community, with sanctions being implemented against Iran, Iraq and and Lebanon.
