Rules[]
This game has very strict rules, similar to that of Principia Moderni IV, and is meant for professional players and political experts.
- This game is meant to simulate modern politics in a realistic way, so this means that there won't be a Fourth Reich devouring all of Europe, that just can't happen in today's world, and plus, Germany doesn't have the military to do such a thing, nor will Germany become a Fourth Reich anytime soon. This rule goes for all nations, this is the 21st century, so no nation is going to "recreate" or "create" a colonial or land empire, they would face heavy sanctions for this, and heavy revolts from the populace they are "colonizing".
- No drastic change in politics. Like mentioned before, Germany won't suddenly become a Neo-Nazi State, dominated by right-wing politics, it just can't happen, and the German government has taken many measures over the years to make sure this just doesn't happen again, and many Germans hold unfavorable views towards the Third Reich. And again, this goes for all nations. America, China (People's Republic) or Iran, or heck, any nation, won't have any drastic change in politics, the US won't become a dictatorship, China won't magically become a democracy (in mainland China that is), nor will Iran go back to being an empire, same for Japan.
- Please don't start developing high tech on the first day, or first decade, this map game is meant to be fun and Realistic, and everyone just trying to become more powerful than the other just can't work, so tech development and advancement will be determined by Mod Events, and certain nations will be given special permission to develop these technologies or become the first to use them.
- DO YOUR RESEARCH!!!! If you actually research dates and other things, you can actually find some interesting stuff, such as how China plans to land a man on the Moon in 2018, or other things such as the political situation in countries like Egypt, Ethiopia, or even Swaziland, cause you don't want to make a fool of yourself due to lack of knowledge of your own countries politics do you?
- No Political Biasness please! This game is supposed to best emulate political situations from Real life, and the consequences of them, so please don't ruin this by your impeachments of Donald Trump, or how the UK parliament magically votes Margaret Thatcher out of office just because you didn't vote/support these people during elections, it's life, and so you must deal with things like this, so any political biasness seen in this game will be met with a strike. If there is in fact, an impeachment or removal of a democratically elected leader from power by the legislature, it will be reported in a mod events for sure.
- if you haven't noticed already, this game is focusing heavily on the politics aspect of The Modern Day, not so much for the Warfare, so its highly advised you focus much of your turns on your everyday citizens/domestic affairs then so much your foreign affairs and your military, cause believe it or not, we don't just elect people to office just to see 'em kill people :).
- And for the final rule (this could be added onto more later), have fun :) and remember to be relax when things go your way, it's just a game, and it's meant to be fun, so just enjoy the game and don't ruin it because you don't have that massive Bhutanese Colonial Empire you always wanted.
