The Fifty-Fourth Congress of the Union was a meeting of the legislative branch of the Government of Cygnia, composed of the Senate and the House of Representatives from 3 January 2001 to 5 November 2004, during the second term of the Howard Government. The 2000 federal elections saw the National Party retain control of the House of Representatives, allowing John Howard to form government for a second time.
