The Fifty-Seventh Congress of the Union was a meeting of the legislative branch of the Government of Cygnia, composed of the Senate and the House of Representatives, from 3 January 2013 to 4 November 2016, during the Abbott and Turnbull Governments' tenures. The 2012 federal elections saw the National Party of Cygnia gain a majority in the House of Representatives, allowing the Nationals to form government under Chancellor Tony Abbott.
