How You Can Contribute
Any and all original alternate histories are permitted here. You are welcome to contribute any pages you wish, whether it be a minor sketch of an alternate history or an entire story that's fully-fleshed out. Should you have suggestions or material you'd wish to add to an existing alt-history, please contact the author to discuss integration, or propose it on the discussion pages. Please make sure you understand the typical definition of Alternate History, found in the What is Alternate History page. While Future Histories are interesting, as is Science Fiction, these are not within the scope of our wiki. Note that only those timelines which are created by the author should be posted and not those which are derivative work.

While at this time we are only exhibiting pages relating to our Alternate histories, we aren't ruling out the possibilities of discussion, or description pages to help would-be alt-historians get off to a good start.

Please read and adhere to the Conventions in use in this wiki before you start contributing!

This Month's Featured Althist
Ætas ab Brian
It has been 20 years since Ieff left. The Ætas ab Brian lay incomplete in Ieff’s 32nd year, fourth month and 27th day in the Venetia Bibliotheca. Princep Carico died eight years ago, aged eighty-seven, I myself now seventy-seven. His reforms have brought the Imperivm together and the future is bright. He chose another successor of equally great administrative abilities as well as kindness and imagination. Even after I returned to Roma to tell The Princep myself that his son had left, he was not angry, he only told me to wait for his return to continue his story.

Senatorial2192 1439

In this semi-serious timeline, Rome develops steam power and the theory of flight in the late 1st century BCE. Starting with a short narrative of the life of one influential figure, the empire's territory and lifespan are greatly extended. However, things are changing in the world, and the 22nd century ab Urbe condita is still young.
