In OTL, Nicholas II is described as a weak and incompetent ruler who was unaware of what he was doing and unprepared for his future role as Tsar. But what if all that had changed? What if Nicholas had been born, say, 8 years early, being able to get around 4 years of education from his father before his untimely death? Born in May 1860, Nicholas pursues a career in the army at only 7, passing his classes at remarkable speed and graduating from military university at only 15, earning very swift promotions and seeing an incredibly successful career in the war against the Ottomans from 1877-1878. (WIP)
