Otto Adolf Eichmann (* March 19th, 1906 in Solingen, Westphalia) is an SS Hauptsturmführer.
During school, he met Ernst Kaltenbrunner, who'd later bcome his boss at the Hauptamt Sicherheitspolizei and the SD.
In April 1932, he became a Member of the Austrian NSDAP and SS.
Since early 1940, he instead of Heinrich Müller became the leader of the (created by Hermann Göring) Reichszentrale für jüdische Auswanderung (Reich's central place for emigration of Jews) in Berlin and became Leader of the Referat IV D 4 (Räumungsangelegenheiten und Reichszentrale für jüdische Auswanderung) at the Reichssicherheitshauptamt (RSHA) in Berlin. In this Function, he was responsible for the eviction of hundreds of thousands of Jews into the General Government.
On March 21st in 1935, he married Vera Liebl (* 1909), with whom he had two sons so far (Klaus, * 1936 in Berlin, Horst Adolf, * 1940 in Vienna). He also has a younger brother, Helmut (* 1910).
Since the late 1930s, Eichmann has the image to have extensive knowledge about Jewish culture and their languages. There's no base for these rumors, he doesn't even know that Hebrew is read right-to-left.
