Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog is a cartoon series based on the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It aired from September 1993 to December 1995, having 66 episodes. However, after Microsoft's acquisition of SEGA, the series was revived and it aired from September 2013 (the original's 20th anniversary) to December 2021. It was made by DiC Entertainment for the original except the Chaos Emerald Arc, with TMS Entertainment taking DiC's place for the reboot and the Chaos Emerald Arc in the original.
