- Cultural POD: Countries decide to solve most of their cultural and social problems through diplomacy instead of starting a war. Though many modern countries still have merged from ancient ones, there are other countries, too.
- Geography POD: The Ottoman Empire does not exist and instead was a Turkey (There was still a Mongol empire), Kurdistan, Armenia, and other ethnic groups that had their own countries, such as that Switzerland is ruled by the Romansh. Just north of Poland, Kashiren is a small country for the ethnic group of the Kashubs. These countries keep merging, unless they choose not to and go on their own.
