In 1786 either Nathaniel Gorham, the president of the Continental Congress at the time, or Friedrich Wilhelm von Steuben, the Prussian general who served in the Continental Army, had suggested to Alexander Hamilton that Prince Henry of Prussia should become King of the United States, however the Prussian Prince declined. The idea of the United States becoming a Monarchy is a bit weird, mainly being it had just revolted against a Monarch itself. But what if the United States did have a Monarch? What if the United States had chosen a well known American that was loved by everyone. What if instead of choosing a Prussian Prince, they chose George Washington, the Commander in Chief of the Continental Army, to be the First King of the United States of America, What if America had a Monarch?
