Andalusia, officially the Republic of Andalusia, is a country localized in the south of the Iberian Peninsula in Europe. It is one of the southernmost countries in Europe along with Naples and Greece. Andalusia borders Castile to north, Aragon to the east, Gibraltar to the south, and Lusitania to the west.

Like its bordering countries, Andalusia is a successor state of Francoist Spain. The nation originated after the Collapse of Spain following the death of Franco and the provisional occupation of Spain, with the region of Andalusia being occupied and controlled by Russia. Under Russian nationalist influence, the Andalusian nationalists were elected forming a supermajority in the provisional parliament, thus declaring the formation of the Provisional People's Republic of Andalusia (changed to Republic of Andalusia in 1991). Andalusia was the only post-Spanish nation to not hold a referendum to a monarchy.
