The Republic of the Andalusians (Spanish: República de los Andaluces), commonly known as Andalusia, is a country localized in the south of the Iberian Peninsula in Europe. It is one of the southernmost countries in Europe along with Naples and Greece. The African enclave of Ceuta makes Andalusia the only European country to have a physical border with an African country (Morocco). Andalusia's mainland borders the Atlantic Ocean to the north, the Basque Country to the northeast, Aragon to the east, Gibraltar and the Mediterranean Sea to the south, and the United Republics to the west.

Like most of its bordering countries, Andalusia is a successor state of Spain. The republic originated after the Second World War with the occupation of Spain, with the region of Andalusia being occupied and controlled by the Soviet Union. Under Soviet influence, the Andalusian nationalists were elected forming a supermajority in the provisional parliament, thus declaring the formation of the People's Republic of Andalusia (changed to Republic of the Andalusians in 1957). Andalusia was the only post-Spanish nation to not hold a referendum to a monarchy.

Andalusia is considered one of the two socialist countries in Western Europe, along with Naples. Though, Andalusia has been pushing social and political reforms since the early 1990s, being considered an auto-proclaimed secular semi-presidential democratic socialist republic. It is a member of the Society of Nations, the Council of Europe, the Organization of Ibero-American States, the World Trade Organization, and a founding member of the Iberian Federation.
