Andea, officially the Inca Empire of the Andes, is a Sovereign nation in South America. Andea is bordered by Colombia to the north, Brazil to the east, and Argentina to the south.

History[]

The Inca Empire of the Andes gained independence without force by the Spanish Empire, after Spain was attacked by Bonapartist France. The Inca tradition was still very strong, so many people voted for the restoration of the Inca Empire. The last known Inca Royals, Tupac Amaru III, the son of Tupac Amaru II. Tupac Amaru III had fled to Brazil during the rebellion, and survived the mass persecution of the Incan Royal Family. Now, he was the last Royal alive. He reluctantly agreed to accept the throne, and the Inca Empire of the Andes was established.

The Empire was established as a Theocratic Absolute Monarchy, but many people wanted a Constitutional Monarchy, so when Tupac Amaru died and his son Huascar II ascended the "Sun Throne", revolutionaries demanded that Huascar II make himself a constitutional Monarch, or the revolutionaries would overthrow him. Huascar II, a very stubborn man, refused, and the next day, a coup led by his sister, K'antu Amaru, overthrew Huascar II after a year on the Sun Throne, and established a Constitutional Monarchy, with K'antu Amaru as the Constitutional Monarch.

Under the 56-year rule of K'antu Amaru, great advancements were made. The economy rose, relations with neighboring nations improved, Industrial advancements were made, and Andea won the Chaco war, annexing all of the Paraguayan lands west of the Paraguay river.

Andea joined the First World after the Great War. In 1920, the Argentinian Republic fell to the Communists, whom established the People's Confederation of Argentina. With the rising Communist Influence, both Brazil and Andea sanctioned and embargoed the nation, causing it's economic collapse in 1967 and the return of the Argentinian Republic.

Politics[]

Andea is a Federal Constitutional Monarchy with the Head of State being the Sapa Inca and the Head of Government being the Prime Minister. The Sapa Inca was originally a divine Human, being believed to be the son of the Inti. However, during the years of Spanish Colonialism, people have converted to Catholicism, and people now believe in Christianity. However, today almost half of the population of Andea, mostly in the mountains, believe in the Inca Religion where they worship the Sun God Inti. The Sapa Inca was considered divine until the Coup that overthrew Huascar II. With the Constitutional Monarchy being established, Sapa Inca K'antu was forced to relinquish her status as "Offspring of the Sun". Today, Sapa Inca Tupac Huascar II is a Catholic, who passed his titles within the Inca Religion to the Inca High Priests.

Religion[]

The Inca Empire of the Andes has two official religions. Roman Catholicism, which is more popular within the Urbanized areas and more developed places like the coast, and Inca Religion, which is common in the mountain regions, like Cusco and La Paz. The Sapa Inca is the Patron of the Inca Religion, but the current Sapa Inca, Tupac Huascar II, is a Catholic.
