While technically a fully independent nation, Andora is unique in that it is ruled by co-Princes, the President of France, and the Spanish Bishop of Urgell. While Andora's relations with their two neighboring countries have, at times, been rocky (notably during the Franco years in Spain and the Vichy years in France), relations are peaceful and prosperous.
