André Bartholomew Kostolany (* February 9th, 1906 in Budapest, Austria-Hungary as Endre Kosztolányi) is a stock market speculator, although having studied Philosophy and history of Arts.

He made his first experience on the job since 1924 in Paris. When stocks crashed in 1929, he had been expecting that, and became rich. He warned his Friends about the danger of Nazi Germany, but they didn't listen to him. In 1940, he left just before the Wehrmacht took Paris, and went to New York City.
