Andre Shipley (born April 2, 1979) is a retired American football running back who played for the Sahalee Storm from 2000-2010, part of the Storm teams that won three straight Super Bowls. He was the Super Bowl MVP of Super Bowl XXXIX. Shipley played collegiate football at the University of Oregon, where he was part of the 1998 and 1999 PCC Champion Duck team and won the Bosch Trophy after accumulating 1,917 running yards in the 1999 season, leading to his being taken with the second pick of the 2000 NFL Draft. In 2014, Shipley announced he would return to the Storm as running backs coach, a position he served in until 2020, when he announced he would step back from coaching professionally to focus on charity work and his family. Shipley's No. 23 was retired by the Storm in a ceremony in 2011 and he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2017.
