Arctic Television is the holder of the ITV franchise for the British Arctic Territory area (which composes the entire Canadian Arctic Archipelago), which started broadcast operations on the 13th June 1967. Arctic Television is jointly owned and operated by Bell Media and ITV plc under the licensee Arctic Television Limited.
