Clint Dempsey

Clint Dempsey, one of America's Greatest Athletes and Captained the Stars and Stripes to win the World Cup.

Football (Soccer) is a team sport played with a spherical ball between two teams of 11 players. The game is played on a rectangular field called a pitch with a goal at each end. The object of the game is to score more goals than the opposition by moving the ball beyond the goal line into the opposing goal, usually within a time frame of 90 or more minutes. The U.S. Soccer Confederation was founded in 1913 and became a member of FIFA a year later, however the sport had a fleeting league from the 1920s until the 1940s when the American Association Football League (AAFL) was founded in 1941.

The League[]

Soccer in No New Deal

Conference Division

The AAFL we know today was founded on April 13th of 1941 when the English and French National team played games across the country in an effort to get American involvement in the war overseas. The league is really 2 league with all states divided into 2 regional football pyramids consisting of 4 professional leagues, the winners and higher placing teams of the lower leagues are promoted one level whilst the lower placed team are relegated to the level below. The winners of the two top leagues then play each other for the National title. The top 2 teams in both top divisions also qualify for the North American Champions League. Since 2010 every amateur and Professional teams also compete for the Florie Cup, any team can draw any team regardless of the conference they are in. The League was criticized for lack of spirit and energy due to alleged American "superficial" enjoyment of the sport. These comments have not been raised with any reasonable backing for about 2 decades.
