The Commonwealth of Australia is a nation in Oceania, and one of the two nations on the Australian continent.
It is highly developed, but mostly empty desert but is plentiful in natural resources, like iron and coal.
History[]
The Commonwealth of Australia was founded in 1901 when the remaining British Colonies united in the Act of Federation. and it was constituted as a dominion of Britain.
They would construct a new capital in Bunbury with a new Australian Parliament inside the new Federal Capital Territory.
In 1914, World War 1 begins, Australian and New Zealand soldiers would go off to fight in the war. 1916, the Australisians would invade Australia after the Easter Rising. Since most able bodied men were fighting in Europe the Australisians made some advancements before British troops could hold them off.
In 1931, all constitutional links between Australian and Britain would be severed by the Statute of Westminster, but they would still keep very close to them. Australians would fight against the Japanese in World War 2 alongside their Australis rivals.
After WW2, immigration to Australia increased, mostly from Asia. Australia still sticks with Britain to this day. The Australis Association Party is one of many organisations within Australia campaigning for annexation into Australis.
