After the Portuguese colonized East Timor they set their sights for the newly found landmass of Australia. In Australia the English were already colonizing and because of the current bitter rivalry of Aragon, Portugal, England and France the Portuguese and French set their ships for Australia. The first Portuguese colonies were in the Northern Territory of Australia. The French set up colonies from French Indochina to the Northernmost of the great dividing. Fights broke out against the French and Portuguese Colonists and the English colonists. At a meet later that year in Brussels, Belgium were all the European nations came together at the Nations Council. At the council the Portuguese diplomat convinced the countries of Holland, Denmark, and Italian Duchies that they should go against England. After this the Australian war began.
