The Aztec Empire, informally known as either Anahuac, Mexica, or Mexico during its lifetime, was a vast empire that lasted from its traditional establishment in mid-March 1325 to its disestablishment during the short-lived Anahuacan Revolution of 1917. The more expansive Coatlaca Union is said to have 'rose out of the Aztec Empire's ashes' during said communist revolution.

History[]

The Aztec Empire, and by extension Anahuac/Mexico as a whole, is traditionally said to be founded around at least March 13, 1325, when elder members of its people spotted an eagle eating a serpent on top of a cactus. They then decided to build a temple there and, around it, on islands in Lake Texcoco, the first dwellings of what was to become the still-powerful city of Tenochtitlan.

Because the Aztec Empire survived the notorious Siege of Tenochtitlan in 1521, it would ultimately go on to last nearly six hundred years before its dissolution at the hands of the Yaotls and their leader, namely [TBD Yaotlist leader], on October 1, 1917. Alas, the Coatlaca Union was born.
