Barack Hussein Obama II (born August 4, 1961) is a French politician who serves as the current Minister of Finance in the French Empire. He is the first African from a French colony to be appointed to the one of the highest positions within the central government of the French Empire.
Early Life[]
Obama was born in Nairobi, French Kenya to Ann Dunham, a white American and Barack Obama Sr., a local Luo Kenyan man. Dunham and Obama Sr. first met in Hawaii, Obama convinced Dunham to move back with him to Kenya where they eventually had the young Obama. Obama Sr. and Dunham would eventually divorce and go their separate ways.
Minister of Finance[]
Obama graduated from the University of Nairobi in 1983 with a bachelor's degree in Business and Finance. This would lead to him eventually be appointed to the position of the Minister of Finance. His previous history on the Nairobi City Bureau helped his resume and was considered one of the reasons for his appointment.
Campaign for Mayor of Nairobi[]
In 1994, Obama resigned from the Nairobi City Finance Commission to run for Mayor of Nairobi. Obama ultimately lost the bid in a close race to Socialist Party candidate Richard Waweru. The Results of the Election were as followed:
