The Baranof Governorate (Russian: Барвновская губерния, romanized: Baranovskaya guberniya), colloquially known as Baranof (Баранов, Baranov), is a governorates of the Alaskan Democratic Federative Republic. The governorate is bordered by Borealia and the United States (via Absaroka and Chippewa) in the east; Oregon and Shoshone in the south; and Columbia and New Caledonia in the west. Yelizavetpol is the gubernial center while Novospokansk is the most populous city.

Etymology[]

The governorate was named after Aleksandr Baranov, who's regarded as a founding father of Alaska.
