The Baratonian civil war was a war for independence between the Baratonian Coalition and Baraton. The war started in 1875 and lasted three years, when most of the coalition had claimed independence. It ended nearing the end of 1878, with the collapse of Baraton. It also resulted in Valkalonia's victory during the Baraton-Valkalonia war.

The Battle of New Porthaven allowed for Tavra to claim independence, followed by Avgrov during the Battle of Pelvir.
