Barcelona is a major city in Spain, located on the province of Catalonia and facing the Mediterranean Ocean. The city is famous for its beaches, nightlife, Flamenco dancing, and the La Sagrada Familia church, which is expected to be finished in the 2030s.
History
The headquarters of NATO relocated to Barcelona after Brussels was bombed multiple times from Soviet TU-95s utilizing captured airfields from West Germany. It faced the danger of Soviet naval bombardment after the First Battle of the Mediterranean and the Soviet invasion and subsequent occupation of the Balearic Islands.
