The American-Russian Battle of Berlin was the last battle of Berlin in 1949, September 6th, where Soviets were taking a house by house, street by street. The battle ended with Soviet victory, and over 1000 Allied soldiers surrendering. The US was doing most of it to protect it, so the war is called "American." However, French and British sectors were also invaded, but did not take much role in resistance.


Outcome

  • ~50,000 ammunition wasted
  • 241 civilians killed
  • 10,500 Allied soldiers killed in the battle. 1,091 of them surrendered, others were killed.
