Belgium was prior to Doomsday one of the newer nations of Europe , especialy in western Europe.

Pre doomsday[]
Before 1983 Belgium was a troubled nation, having gone from a central semi-constitutional government, with a French speaking bourgeois elite. To a semi decentralised state where the ethnicities could not get allong and where pressing for different rights and government.
Doomsday[]
Nuclear strikes were reported in the following Belgian cities and towns
- Antwerp
- Brussels
- Kleine-Brogel (peer)
- Mons
Aftermath[]
Besides the blasts themselves, Belgium faced a refugee crisis coming from all directions: from the Netherlands, Paris, and West Germany. The last group included retreating NATO soldiers, both organized units and undisciplined bands, fleeing the carnage on the German Front.
