Nominations for the 2024 Multiverse Awards will close at midnight UTC on January 1. That leaves just over 48 hours to nominate the writers, timelines and content that you want to be recognized this year.
A spin-off of Radical River, called Radical River: Live and Reloaded, will be in production, this spin-off will somewhat be an alternate take on RR, fusing it with CPSU Lives On's story, to create this.
The current owner of Radical River, 56hytpor, can also help, alongside WhiteChocolateFan.
Nominations are now underway for the 2024 Multiverse Awards! Time to nominate the best work of the past year. Additionally, if you have content of your own that you would like someone else to nominate, post it here and see what the community thinks. Come join us on Discord to talk about the awards and everything else.
Welcome to Altcember, a festive alternate history writing challenge to brighten the season. To participate, create a wiki page that describes or depicts the winter or December holidays in an alternate timeline. The depiction can take whatever form you want: history, worldbuilding, narrative fiction, poetry, and other styles are all welcome. The timeline can be totally new or already established (provided you have permission to add to it). May the spirit of the season animate your setting.
Cuphead, SixtyNine, Omnitrix is a Painfully Hilarious Seedless And Cursed Scenario Even Exist And Nobody Update Please 🥺
Trainor90 has been nominated to be an Archivist (mod) for the wiki. This means above all that he would have Rollback rights to allow him to undo vandalism more easily. Trainor is active above all in 1983: Doomsday as a writer and graphic artist, as well as in discussions on our Discord server.
Please add to the discussion to help the community decide. Discussion both on the User Rights page and in this thread (as well as in Discord) count toward establishing consensus.
Hello everyone, for October the Althistory Wiki is doing a special challenge called Altober! Everyone is invited to contribute a SPOOKY article to this free-form community timeline:

If you have any questions feel free to let me know, or you can ask in the new channel on the Althistory Discord:

The Communist Party of the Soviet Union still exists after the Dissolution, still keeping the name, and mainly operating in Kazakhstan, Belarus, and the Russian Federation.
This would most likely be the official logo of the party, while the old logo would stay as the election symbol.
There are three new nominations for Archivists (also known as mods), part of the TSPTF leadership team for this wiki. They are Emaliay, T0oxi22, and Nickthenick2. On the nomination page, everyone is invited to give input on the nominations. The discussion will be open for 2 weeks. They will get their new roles if there is community consensus to do so.
Please note that this is a discussion about all three of them - they're not competing against each other. You're welcome to voice your support (or opposition) for some, all, or none of the three nominees.
The coadb website has the correct Prince of Abkhazia while the photo listed is of a random member of the family found on linkedin.
The family is also Sharvashidze not Shervashidze, as it was misspelled in multiple places.
What I was explaining to Bing's AI Chat feature is what would happen if the Korean War of 1950 had gone nuclear in 1951. What eventually happened before my conversation was cut short while talking to Bing's AI chatbot was that it began copy-pasting from older responses due to its lack of creativity. I even asked it about what British uniforms would look like after the bombs dropped and eventually becoming slightly futuristic by 2023, but it kept sending me dead links, which annoyed me to the point I had to make this post. And then when I asked Bing's AI chatbot to stop its disruptive behavior, it cut the conversation short like this, which I in turn tried to stop as well but failed (excuse the World War II typo for World War III; I actually suck at typing):
And before I end this conversation, here's the conversation styles the chatbot has (I was using More Creative while I was posting this):
Perhaps I should've used either More Balanced or More Precise instead?
NOTE: This post is NOT meant to bully or insult anyone in any way or form, not even Bing's AI chatbot. I just feel that maybe I should either go from More Creative to More Balanced or More Precise or just stop using Bing's AI Chat feature for alternate history conversations. What do you think?
Hello folks,
Here's the link to my new Discord for the Domus Iagiellonica project.
Feel free to hop in.
Bil Munsil (aka EoGuy and EoGuy99), long time copyeditor and contributor of this wiki passed away in 2022. His obituary can be read at The Arizona Republic. Although he did not interact with us very often, he was an invaluable presence, having dedicated so much of his time to improving our wiki. He made over 80 thousand edits with his simple quest to fix our common errors. We thank him for his long years of service, which cannot be replaced. May we all strive to his example. Rest in peace Bil.

If this gets enough votes, I will have the watermark removed and add this to the Canada (Differently) page.
It follows the idea of an "English Empire" flag, as the "British Empire" isn't a thing in the Differently series, as Great Britain also includes Scotland, which isn't apart of the country and is independent.
This flag follows the idea of the previous actual Canadian flag.
It has the English flag in the corner, with a grassy green background and a badge with a maple leaf on it.
It's that special time of year again. Nomination season for the Multies will open at the start of December and last a month. Voting is January 1-25.
Take a look at the award categories and weigh in if you think they should be adjusted. In particular it seems like we maybe ought to remove awards for Map Games this year, since we hardly had any. But nothing will be removed without clear consensus in favor. Nominations open in just over a week.
