Bologna is a nation in Europe.
History[]
It was a part of the Papal States before it shattered in 1872.
In 1922, after the Biennio Rosso that struck the Italian states, Benito Mussolini took advantage of the situation and was sworn into office; he stayed in power until 1945.
On April 27, 1945, several nations of the Italian peninsula (including Bologna) were freed from the Fascist control and the democratic regime was resumed.
Administration[]
The nation is divided into four states (Bologna, Ravenna, Forlì and Rimini), which are divided into districts.
