Brazil, officially Federative Republic of Brazil is a South American country, considered the largest country in Latin America, being the fifth largest in the world in territorial area (equivalent to 48.3% of the South American territory) and fifth in population, with more than 238 million people. population. It is the only country in America with the Portuguese language as official and majority. It has 27 states plus the federal district, with 56,810 municipalities. With the constitution of 1988, it is considered a federative republic with terms of presidents from 4 to 4 years.
