History:

Bulgaria was Founded by The Khan Asparukh, Who was The Leader of an Bulgar Tribe, Hailing from The Country called Old Great Bulgaria, Which occupied The Lands around The Azov Sea during The 7th Century. Upon this Country's Collapse, The Sons of Khan Kubrat, The Last Ruler of The State went Their Separate Ways with Their Followers in Order to Find a New Home for Their People. Khan Asparukh's Horde was The Largest and He created The Only Lasting State among Them. He founded What is now called The First Bulgarian Empire along The Danube River in 681 AD, Due to Lack of Surviving Written Records, It is Unclear how long His Clan (The Dulo Clan) lasted. This State clashed with The Byzantine Empire who Ruled the Region and The Two would Develop a Rivalry that Lasted for Centuries.

The New Bulgarian Empire would Eventually Push Out the Ottomans of Europe and into Anatolia and Go on The Take of All of The Balkan, Romanian and Anatolian Peninsulas creating a Powerful Empire.

Nowadays, Bulgaria is Classified as a Regional Power, It is a Developed Country with a High Economy, It is a Global Leader in Several Industrial Sectors and It offers Social Security and a Universal Health Care System, It is One of The Founding Members of The European Union, The North Atlantic Treaty Organization, The Organization for Security and Co-Operation in Europe, The Organization for Economic Co-Operation and Development, The Organization of The Black Sea Economic Cooperation, The International Organization of La Francophonie, The G22 and The United Nations.

The Monarch (Emperor/Empress) is The Head of State, The Monarch can Dissolve the Parliament, Appoint the New Archchancellor, Veto a Decision, Declare a War and Command the Bulgarian Imperial Army.

The Minister-President is The Head of Government, The Archchancellor can Appoint Members of The Parliament, Declare a War and Command the Bulgarian Imperial Army.

Bulgarian Electoral Politics have been Dominated by Two Major Political Parties since Shortly after The Founding of The Fourth Bulgarian Empire, Since 1878, They have been The Bulgarian National Party and The Bulgarian Progressive Party, Since the Last Major Party Realignment in The Late 19th Century, The National Party has been The Centre-Right and Conservative Party and The Progressive Party has been The Centre-Left and Liberal Party.
